Pasted images are cropped when printed

I quite often use the Snipping Tool.  Since the purchase of the HP Envy 4500 printer, when I paste images chiseled in the word, the image looks fine in preview before printing.  However, when I print the document, the chiseled image is enlarged and does not fit the glued area.  I get only part of the image on the paper.

HP Envy Photo Printer-purchase and having the same problems.  After a lot of frustration and I don't know how I figured this out, but after that I have cultivated an image uploaded in word format and returned in the function vertically draw images seem ok impression. It's a little bit of your time.   Also used the paint program as suggested and it worked too, however, I'm not very competent in ms paint.  I wish that someone would correct this problem. I think re - plug my old printer... Thanks for the help though.

  • Images are dimmed when I save JPG in Photoshop

    Here is what happens:

I opened a photo capture with my DSLR (a JPG in this case).  It resembles Photoshop.  I change the image, and export by going to file > save under > then I choose JPEG.  I then leave quality to the max (12) and say OK.  The resulting image is MUCH darker (the shadows are completely overwritten)

    Why is this happening?

    Some features:

    Windows Vista 64-bit

    Photoshop CS4 64-bit

Thanks for your time and your help.

I use Windows Photo Gallery to view JPEG images (dark).  When I view these same jpegs in Photoshop, they look better.

There is your answer. PS is a workspace color managed, while the Windows Photo Gallery is not. Same thing will probably happen with other areas of work/programs not color managed.

The secret is to always work and make decisions on a good claibrated, color managed workspace.

It was about the same as the old days of film. Adjust us things for our calibrated lightbox or cabin and then get the call that the colors were off on chrome, when the customer held up a fluorescent flickering, or a window North-lite. Well, what what did they expect?

    Good luck

  • Images cut off when printing to PDF in Word 2010

I saw a thread about it, but he never sufficiently answered. It is perhaps better understand now. It turns out that when I printed to PDF with MS Word 2010, Windows XP, all the images seem to be partially superimposed with a white box. Here are the jpg files, but it also occurs with other formats. I can really only the last column of tiles. This also happened to me with Word 2008. I am attaching a page cropped with such an image. Woukd anyone know what is happening here and how to fix it? I am running Acrobat 9.0 Pro. Thank you very much - it was really bothering me for awhile now. CutePDF will do the job but I prefer the 'high quality distiller' better...

You could try the tool object editing and see if you can choose this white background which is hiding something and move/delete it. Worth a try. It may just be an overlay of some sort.

  • Why outside the title safe border images get cropped when apply effects with masks?

When I add an effect to a .png file (brightness / contrast in my case) and activate the masking tools to isolate an area of the .png file, the upper part of the image that does not enter the Security just title guide disappears.  The lower part of the image that goes beyond the security title guide does NOT however get cropped.  Why does this happen?  It can be corrected?

I use Adobe first CC2015 on a Mac.

  • Right side of placed images are cut when exporting to PDF

    Hi all

I am a beginner still trying to wrap my mind about InDesign and all its features and have encountered a problem with export to PDF. On the right, 1-4 pixels are cut off! I think my problem may be related to what has been discussed in this thread:

InDesign, problem of Image with PDF export... straight cut...

But my question has nothing to do with Visio. I'm simply put PNG and JPG files that have already been created and stored locally on my computer. I found that the only way to solve this problem is to add a few columns of pixels of space white/empty in my images so that the straight line of frame in the images (created by Adobe Illustrator) appear.

Having to change my images first before placing them in InDesign is obviously not the best or the right solution.

Does anyone have any ideas what could cause this problem and how to fix? Maybe there's a setting somewhere for the picture frames that should be adjusted?

You say that the border is the placed graphic? No, don't do that. Make the image as the image only, apply the border via the framework (and via an object style).

I don't know why the gross pixel is truncated, could be an error in the workflow or a bug, it should not happen, but you must not include in the file anyway.

When the files came from Illustrator, use HAVE or PDF/X-4, never no raster such as PNG, BMP or JPG image. If it is printed, text and vector will be printed with the maximum resolution of printers and the quality, raster images cannot be better than the resolution of the image. PNG also supports only RGB and print it not so good, because it would be a CMYK graphic with clear black.

  • Pasted images are really small

    Hello

I am a newbie in Photoshop, can someone explain why I opened a letter size file in Photoshop and everything what I paste is really small (really)? I paste the same image in a word letter size document and it occupies almost the whole of the page... If I Zoom in Photoshop to 100%, it displays the image of "the same size" as in my word document, but obviously when I print it, I can see the difference in size... How can I paste a picture in Photoshop (could it be the internet) so when we print it displays the same size as if I paste and print it in a word doc? what Miss me? Please help this starting in distress...

Look at the resolution (DPI) in the paper size letter; It must be the same as that of the images pasted component software plug-in to avoid this effect.

  • Web images are blurred when exporting to PDF

We constantly place web (72 dpi) images in InDesign presentation documents, then export the PDF file for our customers. However when the PDF file is exported it makes images to 72 dpi blurred. I tried all combinations to export the PDF file I can think is to say high quality printing, change of compression to zero, change of color of the images "Do not downsample", export to interactive PDF and change the resolution etc and it always seems to compress my images every time.

    Any ideas?

Note: The only way I found it is to recreate the images in the form of 150ppi however need an another solution because they must be 72 dpi.

    Thank you

Acrobat displays the default images to 96 DPI system.

In Acrobat, go into preferences and under the Page display, you can insert a custom resolution that will probably solve your problem.

Note that this is an individual setting, other computers may not have this together.

  • RAW images are "locked" when they are imported into LR

I just got a new camera (Sony alpha 6000) and all my RAW images that I am trying to import into LR 4.4 are "locked" and therefore cannot be imported.

When I click on the photo in my HD file and look at the 'Get Info' of the photo is not "locked."

Cannot find any setting on my camera that shows the photo as "locked."  Anyone know if it is a problem of LR or Sony?

I have a Nikon D40, which has no problem downloading RAW images on my LR 4.4.

    Thanks for any help!

Sony Alpha 6000 raw files require at least 5.4 of Lightroom.

You need to upgrade, Lightroom, or use the free Adobe DNG Converter 8.6 version to convert your RAW to DNG and then import them into Lightroom.

    Hi Ashley

I checked, please try these steps of the suggestion:

    (1) select the "Container" of the "Lightbox-slideshow".

    (2) open Panel "Spacing" then do left, right, top and bottom values to "0".

Then preview the page, it should show the image full screen without any cut down part.

    Thank you

  • The effects are reliable when printing?

I am an old user of Freehand HAVE it now trying to learn. As a designer of books, most of my creations of AI (usually of the maps or diagrams) are finally imported into InDesign. A few questions:

    1. What is the best file format to import: .ai, .eps, .pdf?

    2. when I used effects such as brush strokes to a file, it is 'safe' to import this file into ID without developing objects by using effects, or must they always be expanded? (By "safe", I mean the graph will tear reliable on a printer / imagesetter PostScript high-end).

    Thank you

  • When RAW images are needed (if it is stored on the hard drive more slow)?

I just bought an SSD that will roughly triple my reading speed, but since it's only 160 GB I'cant afford the luxury to keep all my data on it.

I know there are many threads here about the best hard drive configurations, but just how would keeping that data (files 12 megapixel CR2) RAW affect my LR experience (once 1:1 previews have been returned and stored on the ssd)?

For example, refinement of development would be insensitive?

    Robert Karlsson

I'd do it but the LRcat previews and hides on the disc and the actual image on a standard disk performance files. Treatment you just write on the disc were the images are found when you save the changes to the files xmp either external or internall and only this disk reads when generating previews, so the actual performance increase will come from the LRcat and previews being on the disc fast and if space is at a premium (as it will be of course with only 160 GB to play with.

If you were really organized could import the images particual group, work on the SSD and when you are done move elsewhere... but the time required to do this can defeat the purpose. Try a few game different ups and let us know how it goes as I can consider buying a small SSD if it does not give improvements.

  • Pictures are cropped, is there a setting screen adjustment?

My photos are cropped when I look on my all new Air 2, is there a setting to make it seen like a "fit to window"?  Thanks in advance.

Also, I found I can zoom in on the image using the fingers to press the fingers together and when I quickly move my fingers on the other, the image fits correctly, but the following image is cropped size.
