• Translation creation failed

  I've recently updated our s FO 525 to 6.3 (4). Since then, I see the following message in the system log:

  "305006: failure of the regular creation of translation for icmp src inside:10.x.x.x dst intf4:10.x.x.x (type 8, code 0).

  In fact 4 syslog entries are generated every two minutes, with the dest. address of each 4 port NIC on the PIX interfaces.

  The source in this post is our NEM, probably trying to ping interfaces to check availability. But why attempt the translation?

  I suggest you remove the remote PIX of the monitoring SNMP configuration interfaces. He will never be able to monitor these interfaces with success, so the data (or lack thereof) seems useless to me. If you can not do this, then Yes, I suggest either removing the syslog messages or move them to a message of higher level than you do not grasp on your syslog server.

• R12 patch driver update failed due to invalid CTXSYS objects

  The upgrade driver failed in amviccd.sql file running and after cheking the logs I found objects-related errors to invalid CTXSYS which are invalidated during the database upgrade from 9i to 10 g 2 (after DB Upgrade to version 10.2.0.3, several items belonged to CTXSYS are not valid [458370.1 ID]) at this time, we have ignored these invalid objects because we do not use portal, but now the applications upgrade failed because of this. • LabVIEW fpga compile: translation error then again translate

  I have a question about the process of compiling LV FPGA.

  The context:

  I am compiling a binary FPGA for the NOR-5644R (viterx6 inisde). the process is quite long (up to 7 hours depending on how is our CLIP). I am canvassing any idea of attaching the compilation process.

  The fact:

  By analyzing the log file of the previous compilation, I noticed that the stage translate is made twice, probably because one is a failure. the excerpt from log files are copy/paste below.

  Further, it seems the errors (at least some of them) translate the first are induced by the commented lines of NOR provided file UCF (RfRioFpga.ucf)

  The question:

  Why to translate step to do it twice (the first being failed)? would it not quicker to make only the second succefull one? in other words, it is really necessary for the first fails to translate step for the FPGA binay?

  Any ideas?

  It seems strange that it performs this step two times (and was worried when I saw the first time), but there is good reason for that, certainly.  LabVIEW inserts constraints for components, he adds, but sometimes the components get optimized out by the compiler.  When the compiler encounters stressed that points to the now non-existent component, it error.  LabVIEW circumvents this by running the process to translate two times. The first time, it may fail. LabVIEW will remove the constraints that fail, then run again translate it.  Unfortunately there is no way around this problem.

• KB2263826 fails to install

  installation of this hotfix using SCCM constantly not to install it.  Downloading the patch and try to install manually outside of SCCM gives the error "this hotfix does not match the installed version of Configuration Manager 2007"this error appears on systems of 80 of the 300 that I stand by. ".

  On a PC, the patch is already installed in Add Remove programs and SCCM continues to display the available patch and it fails to install when attempted to revive it.

  On another PC, the patch shows failed in SCCM, but install manually results in this error.

  I tried to completely uninstall / reinstall client SCCM, reset space names WMI etc... but the system still fails to install / complete the SCCM installation.  And continuous SCCM harass the end-user that the correction is due.

  Any possible solution?  Using Windows XP Pro SP3...

  I checked the server's FTP log this repository hosts the ACS5PATCHES, and I see the file are read by the ACS server. I confirmed that the server is running 5.3.0.40.1 patch level currently. I have looked for answers to this problem, including establishing a new repo, but nothing has solved the problem.

  Does anyone have a solution?

  Rename the file on the FTP server to something like 5-3-0-40 - 2N.tar.gpg, and then try again.

• Problem example application v207 Image 11.1.1.6.5 turnkey editing game patches

  I use the sample application v207 pre-built image provided as a demo/bin to sand Oracle Linux. I was hoping the patch to 11.1.1.6.5 to crush a few bugs, even though I'm relatively new to the patching process OBIEE. I'm running into errors when you try to apply the 1st patch of the game (14696072). It seems he is trying to auto-restaurer one or more previous patches, as expected, but these rollback backup directories no longer exist. Maybe they have been removed from before the image in order to save storage space?
  
  I searched the entire disk for traces of patch 14223977 , because there are references to this patch with errors in the log opatch. There is no such thing as the directory, he's trying to copy the files. I found two directories below that had references to this patch, but does not include any subdirectories that OPatch is looking for:
