  Hello. I've recently switched to my HP Pavilion 500 (product # G5B59AV #ABA) windows 8.1 for windows desktop PC 7. I was able to install the drivers that worked through them looking for web. However, my attempts to install the USB controller in the tab two other devices of computer management has been problematic.

  I go to hardware ID and pull them to the top

  But still could not solve this problem. I have tried many attempts and downloaded and uninstalled AMB Catalyst software several times. I really like any other method can someone tell me step by step instructions. A video would be nice, but really just looking for something to finally resolve this issue. USB hubs on the front do not work and I really wish that any method that could solve this problem.

  This is my generic instructions for the correct driver updates:

  This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - define the VIEW
  for the drivers Microsoft hide - updated those without drain in their names. (Also updated
  the BIOS and chipset drivers.)

  -Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
  For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
  Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.

  For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
  Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model

  Click on - uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

  Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after

  Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
  presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
  in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
  necessary.

  Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
  manually by model.

  Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  I bought a HP pavilion 17-e039sb notebook PC 64-bit (intel core i3-3110) with Windows 8.

  I formatted all drives, then install Windows 7 (SP1). Everything works fine, only the USB controller and bluetooth refuses to function.

  Yes, I do as nowdays bluetooth radios are part of wireless cards, and everything you need to know is the model of the wireless card and you install the corresponding BT software and the driver for model.

• HP Pavilion DV7 2270us: USB Ports not working on HP Pavilion DV7

  I get the USB device not recognized on all USB ports on my laptop.

  I am running Windows 7 (recently did a restore to clean computer) service pack 1.

  I refreshed the BIOS

  I tried to remove all the drivers, stop, remove the battery and restart

  I tried refreshing all USB drivers

  I tried to adjust the power settings to make sure that all power mode on the economy USB devices has been disabled

  Still no luck. From time to time I can plug something and it will work a bit then it becomes disconnected. I think this could be a hardware problem as no intervention software worked. All advice appreciated!

  I have a HP Pavilion 17-g192dx that's installed with Windows 10 factory. I decided to give the new operating system a go, but was overall very satisfied with his overall performance and updates of buggy. Not wanting to give up the new machine, I decided to bring it back and oldie but a goodie - Windows 7. I got a copy of Windows 7 Home Premium lying around so I gave a go and installed the operating system. I got the internet running successfully and in no time most of my drivers have been installed. The problem that I face now is that the old BONES will not work with my USB ports. I do not use a hub and have almost exauhsted the drivers for this Web site section. If someone wants to kindly point out how I could go about fixing this issue, any help would be much appreciated.

  I'm not as interested to get back to Windows 10. It is too slow for daily use (ma) and buggy.

• Drivers Windows 7 USB Controller

  Recently, I went down my HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11-e015dx notebook from Windows 8 for Windows 7. Only Windows 8 drivers are listed on the support page, but they seemed all to install and works great. The only problem is that my right two USB 2.0 ports do not work after Windows loads to the top. It is not all the drivers on the support and Windows Update page cannot find them, nor can many programs update driver - it is just seen as a Serial Bus controller universal (USB) unknown in Device Manager.

  I bought a s5-1414 refurbd without an operating system. I installed Win 7 Ultimate and everything works perfectly except that it has need of a usb controller is installed. someone has any suggestions where to find one?

  Well, you bought a machine to run Windows 8. HP has no support for Windows 7 drivers for this particular model. You could always ask to Foxconn (the mobo mfg) but I doubt that you will come with anything.

  According to another thread with similar issues looking for a USB controller, it was recommended to try a computer different model that has the same motherboard as yours, but uses the W7 OS and install the drivers to whom.
