Pavilion 15-p189na: what do the suffixes part numbers?

Hello

I just bought a Pavilion 15-p189sa from PC World.  The product provided did the suffix na rather than its IE Pavillion 15-p189na on the box.  I can't determine what the suffix difference refers from the HP website.  Please could you explain the difference.  Have I was sold to a different specification item, it is not what I thought I was buying or the suffix refers to something else?

Concerning

Wphil

I finally got a response from PC World (UK) who had consulted - HP

Pavilion 15-p189sa performance specification is the same as the Pavilion 15-p189na.  The last part of "na" is the newest element and has a slightly different appearance of cosmetics, it has a textured finish for the cover.

I'd say it's probably that would be the same for similar HP laptops from PC World at the moment.

    Hello

    I have a G6-1065ej pavilion.

IM under win 7 64 bit. Currently have 4 GB of ram in one location.

What is the capacity of ram max for this laptop? can I add another identical 4 GB ram card to another location?

I tried to read the manual, it says 8 GB max, but not strategies such configuration.

    TNX, david.

Yes the manual does sometimes not completely meaningless. What they in fact at p. 3, is it may take up to 8 GB (4 + 4), but it was sold only with up to 6 GB (4 + 2). It can actually take up to 8 GB 2 x 4 gig modules. You need the DDR3-1333 SO-DIMM

    What does the flashing lightning?

    Thank you

Hello TrainingCounsel, welcome to the Forums of HP.

It seems that you have some flashing LED on your laptop. I will try to help you with this.

To answer your question, the Flash is your battery light. It flashes (usually an amber color) indicates that it is low and must be charged.

As you mention have other flashing LED with it, I'll give you this document just in case it fits you're general question: Blank Screen LED Error Codes.

I hope that answered your question, if you have other questions or need help please let me know. Thanks for posting on the HP Forums.

  • My CC put again PS. Is my release book Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 CLASSROOM IN A BOOK® official training binder of Adobe still valid? What are the obsolete parts?

    Dear community:

I agree with the PS CC. So, I was regularly updated.

I also bought through Kindle and recorded through PeachPit book "Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 free CLASSROOM IN A BOOK® official training Adobe workbook" by Faulkner and Chavez.

What are the parts of the book are now outdated?

I want to have the tutorial on the function of fluidity which became somehow.

    MarioFrez wrote:

I was wondering if the site Web of Peach Pit would automatically update the book in its form online. Will follow your instructions but I'm still confused about the function of fluidity.

You said that you have saved the book on the Peachpit website, and it's a good thing. When you are logged on the Peachpit website, go to your account page, your downloadable digital files for the book and the lessons will be under the tabs digital purchases and updates. If there is an update of this edition of the book, you will be able to download it here.

Also, when I said earlier that the new Select functionality and mask should be used if the book mentions refine edge, which also applies at any time that see you improve the mask as in Lesson 6. Refine edge and improve the mask and now select and mask.

  • Can what type of video card I buy to upgrade a Pavilion a1000y? What are the specs?

I upgraded my desktop HP Pavilion to Win7 a1000y and the default value of the monitor is VGA. the resolution is not good for the big screen that I use. I'll try to find the PCI slot specifications and/or specifications of a video card, that I can add to the upgrade of the video to the monitor and does not get distorted image.

I didn't Eve whether this model can use a video card, since he already come with video included in the motherboard, if that makes sense.

Thanks in advance for your help

    See you soon

    AB

The motherboard of your PC has PCI slots. This means that you will need a PCI video card and not the generation of current PCI Express x 16 video cards.

This webage Newegg shows the type of card you need. I recommend that you do not have a card with more than 512 MB RAM video.

I guess "numbers - iCloud" are left compatibility by iCloud Drive has been here before. But what I really want to know is, is it fair to 2 different ways to get to the same place, is it important that I use?

  • HP Pavilion DV6T-3000: what are the processor i7 can this motherboard can I go to?

    Hello

I'd like to update my CPU, but don't know which are supported by my motherboard.

    I have a HP Pavilion DV6T-3000 series.

    Part of the motherboard: 615278-001

    Original CPU: i7-720QM

In the dv6 manual (link below), it is mentioned that the Intel Core i7-740QM, i7-820QM and i7-840QM can used in general by computer laptop dv6, but it's not to specify which processor when with the motherboard.

    http://www.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02657339.PDF

I would like to used the upgrade to i7-840QM, or at least i7-820QM or same i7-740QM as last resort.

Will be my motherboard suport it?

    Thank you

See page 22 of the manual here:

    Manual

Unlike compatibility processor only in motherboards, it's that there are motherboards for dual core and Quad Core boards. If you have a Quad Core, you can install any other Quad Core. These mobile Intel Core i7 1 genQuads always tends to be expensive and I don't know how much delivery must be done by replacing one such Quad Core for another. The base clock speed increase would be only 1.6 to 1.86 ghz, which is not terribly important. On eBay the i7-840QM is still ongoing for over $ $100 and for that price you approach the cost of a 500 GB SSD, which would provide a lot more help to your user experience.

  • HP Pavilion E0J75UA 17: What are the material that I can pass on my HP Pavilion E0J75UA 17?

    Greetings!

I have a laptop HP Pavilion 17 E0J75UA I got last year. Is it possible to upgrade the CPU or GPU?

    (1) processor - AMD A10 - 5750 M APU with Radeon (TM) HD Graphics 2.5 GHz

    (2) GPU - AMD Radeon HD 8650 G

If so, what are my upgrade options? I would like to stay with AMD for budget purposes as much as possible. Can go with Intel/Nvidia, not a problem.

    Thank you in advance.

    -Ed

It's an APU, which means that the video work is done inside of the processor itself. You are at the top of the curve. No best APU/processor cannot be inserted into the slot of your motherboard. There is no option to go to Intel. That could put a round peg in a square hole.
