Pavilion 15 - p273na: can I put ram in my Pavilion 15 p273na

I recently bought this laptop Pavilion 15 - p273na, with Win 8.1 64 bit. alls well fine enough but with him having only 4 GB of Ram, I was wondering if it was extensible and if that's what it takes and those to buy. I can't find much info for this model at all on the net!

Thank you very much

Hello

The specification is in the manual, page 2, 3 and 98.

http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c04511833

Considers that to add that RAM should be deleted many parts, if everything is damaged in the process would be excluded from the warranty.

  • Want DV7 7255 DX: Can I put RAM in HP Envy DV7 7255 DX

I have a HP DV7 want 7255 DX, and I look to updrade significantly the amount of RAM. I don't know if I can even update, and if I can improve, how much more I can put in. Here are the specs curent:

    Laptop product #: C6N73UA #ABA

Curent RAM: 6 GB DDR3 SDRAM (2 DIMM)

    Slot 1: 2 GB Samsung 1600 MHz

    Slot 2: 4 GB Samsung 1600 MHz

I would like to replace the very minimum, current 2 GB with a 4 GB key (the same as the current 4 GB in there), to have a total of 8 GB. I would also consider that, by replacing the two slots with 8 GB sticks for a total of 16 GB. It looks like my OS is fine with that, just do not know if the motherboard would be able to use it. (IE: I don't want to put in more can be used and only waste money on it, if 8 GB is the maximum).

I recently installed Avid editing software and it says I need a minimum of 8 GB to operate effectively. I also have Virtual PC installed to run a hidden player XP for old software that I still use, and I noticed a considerable delay in all that done in windows 8.1 while virtual drive is running simultaneously. I suspect that this could be also related to the not enough RAM.

Bottom line: is it possible to put the amount of RAM, and if so, how can I put it? Thanks in advance for your help.

I understand that in the certified modules like the original HP or Kingston, manufacturers already proposed this setting, so it's very unlikely for 16 GB hot much more than 6 GB original.

  • can I put RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB of ram? my laptop model number is g6-1047sx

I own a hp pavilion g6-1047 sx, which came with 4 GB of ram and now I want to move to 8 GB is it possible? If so how? If not then any solutions? (except for the purchase of a new )

Yes, your laptop will support 2 x 4 GB of memory for a total of 8 GB as it says in the manual.

You can install a 1 TB HARD drive, if it is the same thickness as your drive current.  Some 1 TB drives are thicker that say a 500 GB drive and does not fit into your drive Bay.

So make sure if you get a HARD drive of 1 TB it is the exact one dimensions your.

    I wouldn't go to 2 TB.

Memory: 1022 MB of RAM and I am running XP Pro

I would like to put it on Win 7, after I get a new memory and a new processor.

  • What can I put the RAM and the hard drive of a Macbook Pro 13 "2014 in a Macbook Pro 13" 2016?

The main logic of my Macbook Pro 13 "2014 card is broken, and it turns out that it will be much easier and just slightly more expensive, buying a new Macbook Pro that, in order to replace. I would like to set up my new Macbook Pro 13 "online in a way such that it is as cheap as possible, while always respecting the level of my former. So, if I could order one with the minimum of RAM and disk space hard and then put these pieces of my old in the new, this would be ideal. I don't know so much about it, and the question is: is it possible?

my old Mackbook Pro 13 ":"

    -purchased new August 2014

-3.0 GHz dual-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.5

    -DDR3L 16 GB 1600 MHz SDRAM

    -Storage flash 512 GB PCIe

    -Intel Iris graphics card

I'll get to buy e new generation Mackbook Pro 13 "with:"

    -2.9 GHz i5 or i7 3.1 (I've not yet decided)

-RAM: Here I want to configure it with as little as possible, if I can just put the chips of the old in the new. Is this possible?

-Hard drive: same thing: if possible, I want to get the cheapest option and simply put the old in the new. Possible?

Thank you in advance to anyone who might take a few minutes to help out me! It would be much appreciated!

The RAM is not transferable, and the reader will be not as fast as the original of the newest computer; In addition, change it the warranty of the news of the computer.

  • Can you put a 500 g SATA hard drive in Pavilion a750w?

Can you put a 500 g SATA hard drive in Pavilion a750w?  The bios is version v3.26, and the operating system is XP with SP3.  40 gig HD is full and you are looking to replace it but do not know what the size limit is with this bios version.

Here are the specifications of your HP Pavilion a705w desktop. This is based on the assumption that you converted the 5 and 0 and the fact that you mentioned a 40 GB hard drive.

You already have the most current version of the BIOS of your computer and running the most recent service pack of Windows XP. Your computer and the operating system should support a drive of 500 GB without problem. The only problem is that your computer isn't any SATA ports, only 66/100 IDE (PATA). Look at local retailers and online for the IDE drives.

  • Satellite Pro P - can I put the RAM?

    Hello.

I have model No. PSE45E, I know it is an old laptop, but can someone tell me if I can upgrade the RAM? There 1 or 2 slots available for this or do you need to buy a RAM?

I hope someone can clarify this point...

    Thank you

    Hello

I tried a bit with Google and the model No. PSE45E is unclear to me.
As Akuma said what is the exact model number and Satellite Pro P you have exactly?

Normally, most laptops are equipped with 2 RAM slots. In addition, I can recommend consulted the user manual. You will find some instructions for upgrading RAM.

    Good bye

  • Can I put my 24 inch Dual Core IMac (early 2009) 4 GB ddr3 1067 Mhz RAM to 16 GB ddr3 1600 Mhz (it says maximum of 8 GB for this model)?

Can I upgrade my 24 inch Dual Core IMac (early 2009) 4 GB ddr3 1067 Mhz RAM 16 GB ddr3 1600 Mhz? I read that it only can be upgraded to a maximum of 8 GB but I'm not sure whether that was when they were sold or if the maximum capacity of the computer can take.

    Thank you for your help,

    Jacques Bizot

You can upgrade the RAM, but 16 GB ddr3 1600 Mhz is NOT designed for your iMac. Please use the RAM specifications correct, iMacs are extremely sensitive to the RAM and require the correct specifications and high quality RAM. Advanced users on these forums tend to recommend Crucial (buy directly from them) or if you are in the USA, RAM from OWC (www.macsales.com).

Do not buy RAM in your store, the local computer or cheap RAM at best, it's probably a waste of time and at worst it will simply not work.

  • Can not put the item in the basket on the Amazon site

In Firefox (15), Safari, but not Opera I can't put an article in the basket on the Amazon website. This problem occurs ONLY when you purchase an article in clothing and accessories, where it is necessary to specify a size. If I search for and select that item, like a pair of pants, the section where the item is put in the basket is dimmed, and there is a statement to select a size. I selects a size, and then move the cursor to the point where I can add it to the cart. But this section remains dim instead of shiny. I can't add the item to the basket. UNLESS I order a belt! A belt has a size, you must specify, and you can put it in the basket. I DIDN'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM until ABOUT a WEEK AGO, after downloading a software update that contains a HP printer driver. That the problem got solved by a technician HP working remotely. I talked to Apple several times, he cannot understand what is the problem with the Amazon site. I don't have this problem on a MacBookPro running 10.6.8. I have it only on a MacPro 10.6.8 also running desktop machine. I reinstalled 10.6.3 on the desktop Mac since the Snow Leopard DVD and updated to 10.6.8 (not including the HP driver on the chance that could have triggered it. Unable to move items "sizes" to cart persists, as described. Note once again, that I have the same problem in Safari, but not a problem at the opera. I encouraged cookies and third party cookies. I tried to restart with disabled modules. I have deleted cookies from Amazon, and Amazon to re - install then allowed them. There is no firewall to the top. The desktop machine is about 6-8 years. Even if I only have 1 GB of RAM, there is no apparent hardware problem. This could be a firmware issue? Of course, I have the workaround to use Opera or the laptop if I want to buy socks, but it's annoying to have this inconsistency. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you. Gene

If clearing cookies doesn't work, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other files to present as cookie cookies.sqlite - journal in the profile folder of Firefox in the case where the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

    Hello ElyMayor,

  • Can I put my SATA drive on my PC?

I have an old HP Pavilion (very old) with 80 GB SATA a1220in. Yes, you think I do with such an old PC, but it is appropriate for my use, as I'm not a hardcore gamer or anything.

So, what I want to ask is, can I put my hard drive on this PC? It's 80 GB which takes no time to fill up, and yes I can use the external hard drive, but I don't want to attach an external hard drive whenever I start my PC. And added, I want to Dual boot in another operating system.

Most of the time the drives built for the Protocol SATA II will also work with the controller in the PC in discussion.  It's questionalbe whether SATA III or SATA 6.0 GB drives will be unless they expressly declare that they can be made to work with it.  SATA II or SATA 3.0 GB usually can be changed either with a rider or a software to run on the SATA I controller.  The link you show referencing the SATA I or SATA (serial ATA-150 - what your motherboard calls it) explains the old SATA: SATA revision 1.0 - 1.5 Gbit/s - 150 Mbps

I suspect only an old SATA revision 1.0-1.5 Gbit/s - 150 MB/s will be hard to find, but a SATA II drive, which can be set with a jumper will work fine. See this page from WD:http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/search/1/a_id/1337/c/130/p/227, 294

BTW: Find a SATA II WD drive which has the jumper and it will be fine.
