Pavilion 550 116na: transfer of data and emails on new HP Pavilion

I have all my emails and data (word, excel files etc.) backed up to an external hard drive.

I had my new PC and did a system restore to get all files on my new system.  I have some problems.

1. I can't open one of my word or Excel files because I get the message that I don't have permission to open this file.   This can also apply to other files that I have not watched yet.

2. the word and Excel files are not where I expected them, but are under users

3. the e-mail files are not in my account in Outlook on the PC.  The only files I see there are new messages that have arrived since I got the computer.

4. Outlook calendar - none of my existing appointments are appearing

I think I probably need to delete all these and make the recovery in a different way, but I don't have the slightest idea what to do differently.  Any help gratefully received!

Thank you

Gerry

  • How can you transfer all data and software form old iPad new iPad?

Hello: I have an iPad 9.7 "display of 2012 with 16 GB of storage. I'm about to storage now and are considering buying an iPad 2 Air. My question is, how can you transfer all the info from my old iPad to the new without starting from scratch?

    Thank you, Gilbert.

< email published by host >

Whence the content come of for example you have the music on the iPad, and if so is sometimes copied from CDs? You can copy purchases on iTunes from your computer via file > devices > transfer purchases, make a backup of the iPad, and restore this backup on the new iPad (music, videos, etc. is copied from the iTunes library, not the actual backup, so you will need these items in the iTunes library).

I get a new mac next month and will probably be to transfer all my docs, photos, settings etc using the method in this article. I was wondering if, when data are transferred to the new computer, if it is removed from the old computer? I had problems the past with back ups and updates goes wrong and I fear that I will lose all my data by mistake in the transfer.

Lol the original data remains on the old computer, but don't forget to save the new computer as soon as you can.

  • Transfer of account and recreate a new account for the Touchpad even WebOS

I recently got a 16 GB Touchpad at the great firesale and have a quick question.  I would use this Touchpad for me for a little while, but I get a hand on a 32 GB Touchpad as well.  If I do, I would keep the 32 GB for me and give the 16GB as a gift to a family member.  Is it possible to transfer my account to the new device, and then delete all my data from the first device and re-register with a new account?  I have not created an account on the first device still as I am anxiously awaiting word on whether I will get the Touchpad second, but I'd really just starting to use it if it will be an easy transition to the second device!  Thanks in advance!

Absolutely, you can.  Here's what I would do to make sure that it's going really well:

    1. on the 16 GB model, perform a backup.

    2. the 16 GB model, perform a full erase.

    3. turn on the 32 GB model and enter your webOS account.

    4. leave to set up and install all your applications.

5 perform a backup on the 32 GB model.

    6. go online to your webOS account and remove TouchPad 16 GB.

7 log on the TouchPad to 16 GB with a new account of webOS.

  • Sort of the original data and creating a new channel

    Hello

I have a channel called "engine speed".  This channel extends the numberic values between 0 - 3000.  I want to create a channel named "Op_Sensor_Desired_Pressure" is the same length as the "engine speed", which I am familiar with.  I want my fill my Op_Sensor_Desired_Pressure channel with the data I have.

I attach a CSV file that indicates the speed of the engine with the Op_Sensor_Desired_Pressure value.  So what I want is when the engine speed is = to what is in my CSV file I want to fill my Op_Sensor_Desired_Pressure value with the specifications in my spreadsheet to.  Values that do not exist then I want to present with a "NoValue".

I thought to use a dictionary but cannot make it work. (As below)   I've also attached a set of data that I use.

    Dim dict3, j, t
    Set dict3 = CreateObject ("Scripting.dictionary")
    j = chnlength (1)

    Dict3.Add '630', '1 '.
    DICT3. ADD '1010', '2 '.
    DICT3. ADD '1020', '3 '.

    Call ChnAlloc ("Op_Sensor_Desired_Pressure", j, 2)
    For t = 1 to j
IF dict3. There are (ChT (t, "Engine speed")) then
    CHD (t, "Op_Sensor_Desired_Pressure") = Dict3.Item (ChnVal (t, "Engine speed"))
    On the other
    ChD (t, "Op_Sensor_Desired_Pressure") = "NoValue".
    End If ' dict3

  • Move all my data and OS to new hard drive

    Hello world

Well, my problem is that my hard drive which I installed today is insufficient memory.  I can only have a hard drive connected to my computer if I want to transfer everything (including Vista Home Premium) to the new hard drive.  I installed the new hard drive and disconnected my CD player in the process so that both hard drives are now connected and installed ready for operation.  I know how to back up files in windows, but I want to spend all completely (cookies, programs, photos, Vista, etc.) or as much as I can.  I will have to reinstall the programs, but I don't want to reinstall Vista.  I hope that was enough information and thank you for your help!

  • date and time of transfer to the target fpga

    Hello world

Can I transfer the date and time of real time on target fpga in a sbRIO?

    Thank you

    Hello

You don't know why you would want to try this, can you clarify?  You cannot send the timestamp as it is, but according to what you want to do, there will be a solution.  This describes how a timestamp is stored in LabVIEW, but you probably want to send/receive something more easy to handle on FPGA.

    Hello

    There are limited resources,

    (a) use Data transmission cable, something like one of the following thread:

    http://au.price-selector.com/search?k=easy%20transfer%20cable & cid = 1-3-1-1-3

    (b) another option: buy an IDE HARD drive case and put the old HDD on it, you can transfer data and use it as a HARD drive external.

    Kind regards.

We live a very slow local data store for speeds of transfer of data store on a new server ProLiant DL20 Gen VMware-ESXi-6.0.0-2494585-HP-600.9.3.30.2

There are currently 2 drives connected to the controller Smart HBA H240 (146 GB SAS and SATA 500 GB). Transfer a file of 10 GB of DS on SAS to a DS on SATA disk drive take somewhere around 30 min. H20 is running FW 3.56.

Has anyone seen this problem on all the other servers hp with the same HBA?vmwarehdd.png

I just looked and this controller does not support cache modules. I the Chuck and use a series of P Smart Array with a cache module. This really seems to be a bare step up an AHCI controller.

  • Data transfer between 8300XP and 8.1 of Windows using an external drive of 1TD will be my transfer of files to the new system?

I have an old Dell 8300 XP for 12 years and just got a HP Pavilion 23. Bought a WD 1TD disk transfer the data from my old computer to my new computer? Also, my old computer has some type of pass protection, when entering data on a disk or diskette that appears to be empty on any other computer. Do I have to remove the password protection before I transfer my data to the external hard drive?

If your files are encrypted - you have Windows XP Professional, use the EFS file system and the files appear in the Green type when you look in Windows Explorer - then Yes, you have to decrypt (remove them the password) before you transfer the files.

If you mean that you must enter a password to connect to your XP computer but otherwise have no password protected individual files, so No, mustn't do something for files before transferring them.

Perhaps you could clarify what you mean by "when entering the data on a drive or a floppy drive he seemed to empty on any other computer."

If you are unsure if you have XP Pro, made a click right desktop and select "Properties".
