Pavilion dv2615nr: lack of system 32\NvCpl.dll

I've updated a laptop from a friend, and maybe he just can't run windows 10 64-bit edition.

in any case, I started with Windows 7 Ultimate and had everything works fine but since I went to 10 I have two error messages.

There was a problem starting C:\\Windows\system32\NvCpl.dll and

There was a problem starting C:\\Windows\system32\NvMcTray.dll

I searched and search and I know it is related to the NVIDIA drivers but I reinstalled and it keeps the switch back to default microsoft video drivers. I have to get rid of him on a restart after that relocation, but he came right back the next time I restarted the system.

The laptop seems to work very well and I would be happy to just get rid of the error messages.

I hope for more help!

See you soon,.

Jim

Hi, Jim:

Uninstall all graphics drivers nvidia you have previously installed and restart.

Then manually install the driver Vista support page for your laptop as follows...

This package provides the graphics/video driver and a user interface for graphics NVIDIA MCP67M in the notebook models and operating systems. This driver allows the video display and implements a UI for settingvarious shows the properties.

File name: sp37873.exe

Download and run the above driver file.  You will probably get an error not supported operating system.

Conclusion of any windows error you get.

Go to Device Manager and click on the map to display Microsoft base needing the driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp37873.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.

Then restart.

  • "Lack of function external lvanlys.dll ' when executing EXE

    Windows 7 x 32, LV2009SP1 / LVRuntime 2009

I am trying to build an EXE from a customer code.  They use the analysis library (NI_AALBase.lvlib).

It works well on my dev machine.  When I create the EXE file and place him on a target with LVRuntime on that machine, I get the error:

    Lack of function external lvanlys.dll: Mean_head:C NI_AALBase.lvlib:Mean.vi.

I explicitly added the lvanlys library to the project.  I added the library as a source file in the build.  Finally, I added the DLL itself to the project and as a source for the build.

Still the same error.  The DLL is located in the folder data after construction.  I tried to move it in the same folder as the EXE file and in the system32 folder.  Nope.

I just changed the extension of the DLL to dllx and tried again, and I get the same error, so it looks that it can't find it.

Do I need to register this DLL or something?  Is there a file?

You are an installer of construction or simply transfer the executable file?

If you are just transferring the executable file, make sure to include the folder "data" beside him.

(You can also check if the target computer has the engine execution of std (~ 170 MB) and not only the minimum (38MO).)

I have a HP Pavilion notebook. My system does not detect my sd card and I can't eject. Help?

From my understanding, most laptops allow you to simply remove the SD card back.  Others have a simple spring mechanism that requires you to press the memory card slightly until you hear a "click", similar to a click on a retractable pen, which must eject the card.

c:\windows\system32\nvcpl.dll is related to the NVIDIA Control Panel. You can try to uninstall and re-install the latest drivers from NVIDIA, version 258.96. If you do not have an active 3D device, you must open "Services", find NVIDIA stereoscopic 3D driver service and edit its properties to "Manual", and then stop the service.

I have fixed many times by the steps described in this article...

This is not guaranteed because the problem can be reduced to hard drive failure rather than just the corruption of the boot.ini file.

  • C:\windows\system32\nvcpl.dll worm xp

I have a slow XP machine running.  In troubleshooting, I remove all items with msconfig startup by disable it all the button and rebooted the machine.

On a msconfig, a verified MvCpl.dll command line was there.  The original on was also there uncheck the box.  I searched my C NvCpl.* drive and received:

I just re-read the entire thread. I was struck by two things:

    1. this PC once stood on a field.
    2. this PC had Trojans.
I am aware you reconfigured the PC to change the field to the Working Group, but still there could be something in profile looking for something on the field. I suppose you could create a profile of costs, but I don't know that I would waste my time since then...
I think the PC is always compromised. Malware can sometimes be VERY difficult to remove. Sometimes it SEEMS to have disappeared, but there will always be a nasty, almost impossible - to detect rootkit now (or maybe even a "bootkit' hidden in the boot sector). The symptoms you describe certainly indicate the presence of malware; the PC could very well be a part of the "botnet" at this time.
I recommend that you make sure that all data is backed up and nuke the drive and start from scratch. It is a hassle, but it would probably still be the fastest (and certainly the most efficient) way to treat this disorder.
If you had an unlimited period and wish to experiment and explore (but I think you said that this PC belongs to a friend), you can search the Web for tutorials of Process Explorer and start a thread on Bleeping Computer or a similar site for interactive assistance. But I really think you will be better off if you flatten and rebuild.
Good luck and happy new year!
