  A 8 GB module is listed in the manual, and it's a 3rd generation of processor i5 I suspect 2 x 8 = 16 concerts would work, but strictly following the manual your only option is to add a 4 GB for a total of 8. Most users really not more 8 GB and adding a second identical module will allow two-channel operation, so you should see a noticeable jump in the overall performance.

  After I pulled out the existing RAM chips, I tried to put the new RAM 8 GB chips in 2 slots, but it does not fit the slot. The detail is that the size of the entire chip is shaped, but the notch on the long side of the upper part does not fit the clip into the machine.

My laptop took advantage of this Crucial memory to operate at faster speeds than the memory, I have now? What latency (CL) cases? I saw sticks to new Egg with CL = 9 instead of this Crucial CL = 11.   Just bought an eMachines 633ids work today. The PC is old and it came with 64 MB of SDRAM. I have an eMachines broken T1742 with 128 MB of RAM. I was wondering if I could put the T1742 broken in the new 633ids RAM. It will work and is it safe? I don't know if RAM of the broken T1742 is good because the motherboard is shot. Do I just buy new RAM for the 633? If so I wouldn't mind putting money into it because it is in perfect condition. I paid $15 for it.
