Pavilion dv6-6080ee: the upgrade of the CPU/GPU in my HP Pavilion dv6 6080ee

Hello
I wonder about the possibility of upgrading my processor Intel® Core™ i7-2630QM and - or the GPU AMD Radeon HD 6770 M (1 GB DDR5 memory) + Intel HD Graphics 3000 in my laptop (DV6-6080ee).
My question is, is it possible for this laptop? and what are my options in terms of models of CPU and GPU?
If not, then is there another way to improve the performance of my laptop? Like turbo or troubleshoot software? or chest strong overclocking?
Thank you in advance.

  • Satellite A35-S159 - can I upgrade the CPU, GPU and HARD drive?

    Hey

I have one in my possession and I wanted to make a good game.

I don't know if I'll be able to cause. It hurts thinking may be able to put a processor duo or quad, and I do not know if the CPU will be able to support a really good graphics card, and I also think about changing hard drive.

Any1 know what hard drives are compatible with what I can use which are good for games?

    Hello!

I m wondering that you want to upgrade this old notebook. In my view, that a new laptop would be a better solution.

On the CPU and GPU upgrade I can only say s is not possible and not Toshiba support. The GPU is soldered on the motherboard and t can be exchanged.
I think you should read this: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9401AX0001R01.htm

The HARD drive can be upgraded. This isn t a problem.
AFAIK the A35 Satellite is equipped with a s IDE HDD and this means that you buy a drive HARD IDE interface up to 128 GB.

  • DV7-7230us mother of HP Envy and replacement of the CPU card

Unfortunately the notebooks has dropped and the screen broke. The machine was at the time. Also the CPU/GPU or motherboard was fried after the fall. As a result, I bought a new screen, the motherboard and the processor. The only thing different from the original installation is the processor. I upgraded to an AMD A8 to the A10. The service manual is the upgrade. My question is, when I start to restore the existing hard drive, 750g Seagate hybrid, with the original system restore dvd discs that will work? I read that these discs only recognize original equipment. Luckily I have the original hard disk with the original operating system factory and the software installed on it. This drive was almost never used so it is still in its original state. Does anyone know if I need to clone a hybrid disc, or it will allow me to reinstall the factory operating system and software? I cloned the hybrid when I first installed and did not bother trying the restore disks. Any power coming back here?  Thank you.

    Al Hebert

    Hi Al,.

I saw your post about your recovery questions. I saw mixed results during the use of recovery with hybrid disks and solid state disks. You are right, you need the original material then I would try the clone you have created everything first and see how it goes.

  • Final output rendering: CPU vs CPU + GPU

    Hallo,

I would use my Nvidia GPU to speed up the rendering of the final output of the projects of Premiere Pro and After Effects to Adobe Media Encoder. Now as far as I know, which allows the GPU acceleration for rendering of the final output in the AMEncoder really accelerating him process significantly. But I have a question about the quality of the production. The addition of acceleration GPU has an influence on the quality of the final result make? I read on some for a comment indicating that only using the CPU for the final rendered result gives results of superior quality, then when using the CPU + GPU acceleration combined? But on some other blogs I actually found that adding statements to process the two GPU speeds up the time required (becomes much faster), and actually increases the quality of the result final render?

Does anyone know if there is a difference in quality between CPU vs CPU + GPU rendering to final output? I'm working on a 64 bit Windows 7 computer)

    Thanks in advance,

    Sebastiaan

GPU accelerated export is expected to equal or exceed the software quality in all cases

  • HP pavilion 15-p263ca: I can upgrade the CPU in my laptop, or is he doomed to have speeds(1.9-2.4gHz) low overclocking forever?

I want to upgrade the CPU on my laptop, but I don't know if this is possible or where to look to see if there is. This is hp Pavilion p263ca 15.

Processor AMD A10 is an APU, which means it's a graphic processor/card combination.

I believe that you are at the top of the mark on the hardware configuration of your model series.

Unfortunately, I do not know how the processor works.

Without a doubt, it's automatic and no user intervention is necessary or possible.

  • Pavilion g6 - 2217cl: the HP Pavilion g6 - 2217cl RAM and CPU/GPU upgrade

    Hey there, I am looking to upgrade the RAM and CPU/GPU on my G6 Pavilion. Here's my current characteristics;

    Laptop model: HP Pavilion G6 - 2217cl

    Operating system: Windows 10 family (x 64)

Current RAM: 6 GB (used 2 slots)

CPU/GPU: AMD A8 - 4500 APU with Radeon HD graphics card

What are the possibilities should I upgrade?

If more information is needed, I'll be happy to provide.

It supports up to 8 GB of memory and the processor can be upgraded to a 10 - 4600M. Here is the Manual:

    Manual

There is no video card to upgrade, but for the models of series AMD A video is contained in the processor itself and an upgrade of the processor also carries with it an upgrade for HD 7640 G HD 7660 G video. It's light but a bit noticeable and clock speed go from 2.8 ghz to 3.2 ghz, which is not huge but noticeable. Memory is a DDR3-1600 module, and you can replace your 2 gig with a 4 gig to spend 6 to 8.

Memory upgrade is as easy as... CPU/APU don't upgrade not so much.

Not N Celeron processors are soldered to the motherboard, so there is no way to remove it and replace it with another processor. It would be possible to Exchange in an i3 or i5 based motherboard, but the cost will make economically ill-advised. Cheaper to sell your laptop and buy a new one.

  • Pavilion n201ax: upgrading the GPU, the CPU and the RAM of my laptop n201ax

Maybe it's a very long post, but please answer because I really need answers to each of these questions and I really want to upgrade my laptop to the best configuration, if I CAN.

Let me make this clear first.

    * In the next contained the words 'this portable' always refers to Hp Pavilion 15-n201ax *.
Good then everything first I read somewhere that the maximum Ram of this laptop can be expanded up to 16 GB, but i came up with this link here-

    http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/hardware-upgrades-replacements/I-would-like-to-upgrade-memory-of-my-lap...

And then I came to know that it can only be upgraded to 12 GB page chapter 1 Description this Guide - #2

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c04438537.PDF

First of all I would like to ask, is that,

    1. can I buy a RAM of any brand but the same 1600 mhz clock speed ofc IE?, then can I go to the GSkill 1600 Mhz DDR3 4 GB of ram?

    2. the size matter for respective locations? or I can install the 8 GB and 4 GB of ram in any other slots?

So this was all about the RAM

But I need to know if I can change the discrete GPU and the APU of this laptop

3 and if yes - which are compatible mobile GPU that I can install by removing the previous one ie AMD 8600 M (for example graphics R9, R7 and R5 for laptop)

4 and who are the compatible APU I can install by removing the APU previous IE AMD APU A10 - 4655 M (for example the AMD FX APU for laptops)

    5. If I can upgrade the GPU and APU both please tell makes compatibility issues? as only a specific GPU can work with a specific APU IE as in this laptop AMD APU A10 - 4655M + AMD 8600 M GPU.

    Please help me, please.

    Thanks in advance.

    Pavilion 15-n201ax?

We may need to refer to the owner's manual here:

    Your repair manuals

Officially, it supports only 12 concerts. Your model has a single module of 8 GB if you have an open slot. Unofficially, users here can have reported that add another 8 GB for a total of 16 concerts will work fine. It's something you take the risk of making but it is not official.

The part numbers for the appropriate memory are listed on page 42. You must DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM.

If you want to go formal, the 4 GB module is: 691740-001

    Is this on amazon.com:

    http://www.Amazon.com/HP-691740-001-1600MHz-PC3L-12800-memory/DP/B00CI08FX4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&QID=1437948185&SR=8-1&keywords=691740-001

You just leave the concert 8 where it is and add the new memory into the open slot.

On your laptop model, the GPU/APU is soldered to the motherboard. In order to make any upgrade, you will need to buy a new motherboard. You have an idea together wrong GPU/APU can be removed and replaced and this is incorrect. The term APU refers to a processor that has integrated video, so the whole issue on the compatibility between the GPU and APU just missing the mark. On some systems, the GPU/APU is socketed and can be replaced which is used to replace/upgrade the processor and the video function but as stated above, on your this involves pulling and replacing the entire motherboard.

    There is available a little better/graphics processor using AMD A10 - 5745M 8670 M (2.9 GHz/2.1 GHz, 2 GB L2, 1333 MHz DDR3L Quad 25W) for use with Standard Windows. The part of the motherboard is 734824-501

HP does not store the Council, but I found this line:

    http://www.discounteddealz.com/product.asp?Itemid=327740&gclid=CO78y6rn-cYCFQmCaQodOP0GLQ

Never heard of this seller and can not be a guarantor, but the price is very reasonable for this Council. I was expecting to be a little more makes me wonder about this seller a little. I would advise to keep what you have. He is very strong for AMD and the upgrade to the Commission on the A10-5745 will result in only a very small increase in performance to a very high cost in money and efforts.

My laptop is too hot. What should do?

Please suggest me for the above two questions.

    Thanks in advance.

    Here is the Manual:

    Repair manuals

You can remove your AMD A4 processor and install a

    AMD A8 - 3520M 2.50 GHz processor (1.6 GHz FSB, 4, 0 - MB L2 cache, quad core, 35 W)

The manual shows how to do it. The A8 processor will be a quick replacement; You can reuse the heat sink and won't need any part other than the processor. While you are there, it will give a good opportunity to clean the inside and apply new thermal paste between the top of the processor and the lower part of the radiator. Clean the blades of the fan with a q-tip with alcohol, then wipe each blade with a lint cloth carefully to make sure that everyone is clean as a whistle. On the A-series AMD when you upgrade the processor, actually get you a small bump in video performance. The processor is actually called an APU and is somewhat simplified, the CPU and video card. Normally I advice against upgrades the processor laptop, but on this one particular type, I think it's logical given that the processors are cheap, because there is not much demand for them. Intels are a lot more. After the back if you need assistance. Good luck.

  • Can I upgrade the CPU on my old Satellite M60

Hello I would like to know if it is possible to upgrade the processor to my old m60
and, if possible, which would be compatible CPU model?

    Thank you

    Hello

I doubt that you will be able to upgrade the processor.
    Upgrading CPU is delicate.
First of all, you should check what CPU's are supported by the chipset.
Secondly, the BIOS is not tested and designed for other processors and so this can be a big problem.
In the worst cases the CPU is not supported by the BIOS and the laptop will not turn on.

Last but not least a faster processor would generate more heat which would lead to a higher temperature and plant s notebook

As you can see the CPU upgrade it discouraged and in most cases is not possible
