DeskJet 3630: No printer wizard

Downloaded and reinstalled several times but no printer showing Wizard. Connected by USB. Tried HP Print and scan doctor but grinds just stop about 75% in the analysis. Any help would be appreciated before she goes back min the box

Hello

Thank you for using the forum.

Can you make sure that you try to connect to other USB ports on your computer?

Think that the USB port you used earlier could be defective.

BTW, we tested with a USB 3.0 to USB connectivity to a printer, and it worked fine.

Can you try that and see if the installation passes by?

Thank you.

  • HP DeskJet 3630 all-in-one: desjet 3630 does not print color

Hi, I bought a new HP DeskJet 3630 series all-in-one printer today. Setting up the printer I did several tests that show color printing, however, whenever I try to print an image in color (working on my daughters school book) it prints in black and white. I did troubleshooting all I can think of, we have no black & white printing turned on. I'm not quite sure, what else to make sure the printer is brand new and should be able to print in color?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Not quite sure what I did to make it work, di, but the cleaning cycle for the cartridges of ink & rebooted several times, and the printer is now printing normally =)

  • HP DeskJet 3630: I can't get my printer to connect to wifi

I set up my printer and I tried on my phone to connect to the wifi and it wouldn't work so I unplugged and moved closer to the wifi. Now wifi has the word "setup" that he disappeared and only WiFi it is requiring a password I don't know

    Hello

Your printer has a direct wifi feature that is enabled by pressing the key direct wifi on the front panel. This allows to directly connect to the wifi local printers via a password. When looking for wifi networks on your ios device, you will see the name of the wifi printer - to get the password fo rthis hold direct of wifi on the front panel to the dryer and it should print on plain paper for you.

The other option for the wireless connection (and the most effective if you have a router) is to connect your device ios and printer to your home wifi network. You need to connect your printer to a windows or mac to establish this connection - I have included a link to the Setup instructions for each below.

  • DeskJet HP 2510: Wifi and HP Printer Wizard

I have the officejet 2510. Can I print using USB and my wifi router. But when I use the HP printer assistant, I can only print/scan with the USB key. HP Printer Wizard does not pick up the printer via wireless connection.

    Hello

The HP Deskjet 2510 is a single USB printer (assuming it as your model?, HP do not have an Officejet 2510 model)

By connecting a printer to a print server (a USB port of a router), you are only able to share a printer, you can not get all of the features with such a.

The HP software only locates your printer with a direct USB connection on your PC, printers only with wired and wireless network capabilities can be used in the HP software over the network.

  • Satellite P875-S7200: HP Deskjet 1510 cannot connect to the Printer Wizard

When I try to open HP DESKJET 1510 SERIES on my computer it looks like trying to connect to the Printer Wizard but never open and that's why I can't scan anything. How can I connect to the Printer Wizard? On the screen all I can see just - text by default - and it looks like loading but never opened.

Thanks for getting back to me @Amandazone

Looks like you have reduced, I don't know what else could cause this problem.

Since you said that you need the software for the analysis, I came to the top with some other ideas.

    You are able to try this;

    1. Open all programs
    2. Locate / expand your HP folder
    3. Locate/expand your HP Deskjet 1510 case
    4. Try to open HP Scanand see if it will scan

If it will not scan, you can try the steps outlined in this document;  HP scanning software is not open or Scan to a printer using a USB in Windows.

    Another option would be to scan without using HP software;

You can find on theseoptionsScan how-to: Windows 7

Please let me know the results of scanning HP, and what happens when you try to scan without the HP software.

I look forward to hear from you!

    Hello

The printer is compatible with the Mountain Lion (10.8) or a later version, it is not compatible with your operating system. to get all the features, I suggest the printer back and get a previous model that suports of Lion.

You may be able to circumvent such assistance an another print driver, such will offer only the printer and features advanced features not so much that the ink levels, management of printers, etc.

    To so proceed as follows:

1 install the package on your Mac:

    https://support.Apple.com/kb/DL907?locale=en_US

    2. connect the printer to your Mac and make sure that it is turned on.

    3. from system preferences > printers and Scanners, click the sign more and select your printer.

    4. click on the reduction in the drop-down menu, then select printer software use.

    5. Select the HP Deskjet 3050 as another driver and click Add.

For scanning, you try the 3rd party software VueScan which should be supported on Lion and support your printer:

    Hope that helps,

  • DeskJet 3630: HP DeskJet 3630 doesn't recongize 803 black carteidge int

Hello. I met a problem when I using 803 ink cartridge black (instead of 63 black cartridge int) in my DeskJet 3630. The printer cannot detect the 803 even black ink cartridge, I tried two new 803 black ink cartridges that have been purchased in the supermarket. If DeskJet 3630 can use only 63 ink cartridge? If not, could you please give me some suggestions on how to fix this? Thank you very much.

BTW: I tried all the solutions on the site of HP comfortable support.

You bought the printer in a country and are now in another country?  You will need to Contact HP to ask a "regionalization Reset." Do not charge for this, it is covered under the warranty of the cartridge. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.  Webpage of HP on the subject is here.

  • HP Printer Wizard

    Hello

where can I download "HP printer Assistant" for the printer hp deskjet 1050.

I uninstalled it but now I want to use.

Thank you for your time, sakina.

    Hello

I guess it's like that old saying - you never know what you have until it's gone.

Joking aside, the HP printer Assistant software is included in the download of the driver for your HP Deskjet 1050 all-in-One Printer - J410a.

To re - install HP Printer Wizard, you must re - download the driver (or install from your CD).   But first, you may want to uninstall the driver, you have now, only then, when you re-install that there aren't any crossed wires.  You can find instructions on how to do that here.  In the document reach you, expand the plus sign (+) next to your operating system and follow the instructions from there.

Once you have uninstalled, for re - download the driver, go to the product page on the HP support site.

Once on the product page, click on drivers.  The drop down menu under "select or confirm your operating system and click Next ' should identify your operating system, but if not, select it from the list and click on the blue button below.

Scroll down on the page and expland the sign + next to driver - product installation software.  Click on the blue download next to "HP Deskjet full feature and driver software" button.  And follow the instructions from there.

You can also find supporting documentation to guide you through the steps back to the product page and clicking Getting Started--> install the drivers & software and selecting the install doc that applies to your operating system.

  • HP Deskjet 1510 - Wont print in XP

    Hello

I'm trying to set up a printer on an XP machine 1510. I tried again and again to get it going, but nothing works.

In the current attempt, I installed base from the HP Web site drivers, the drivers are installed correctly and XP can see the printer, this is the default and I checked all the ports and parameters of the driver etc..

However with everything apparently works, if you print a job goes into the print queue, is sitting there for a few seconds, then disappears, nothing prints not, nothing happens, the printer itself doesn't even make a noise.

I tried the printer on my Win7 machine, works perfectly. I tested the USB ports and cable, no problem there.

I have worked through many documents of troubleshooting on the 1510, including the spool of printer etc..

I reinstalled the drivers and the software several times, the same result each time, see the printer XP is by default but when printing nothing happens.

I'm getting closer to return the printer.

    Thank you
