  I use Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 2. 2 USB ports on the front of my office has stopped working. They worked fine before. Those in the rear seems to work well. When I try to connect Blackberry or USB storage it won't make any difference. Is no error message or another. What can I do to fix this?

  Maybe an internal connection (thread) is loose.

  Hope this is the right area where my question.

  My laptop is a Pavilion DV7-3020sa.

  The sensitive keys on the Panel just below the screen suddenly stopped working.

  I can't adjust the volume using the "cursor" key, I can't cut the volume either, nor can I turn on my wireless (I'm on a cable ethernet for the moment)

  Any ideas how I can get the touch sensitive screen working again please.

  You probably have your active Menu bar. I think you can use one or the other. To activate your favicon Orange Firefox, right-click on the empty upper part of the browser (next to your tabs) and uncheck the menu bar. I hope this helps.

  If you have customized your toolbars in an earlier version, the installer may have left you with the classic menu rather than the new abbreviated menus bar.

  To move, use the view menu > toolbars > Menu bar

  Once you have the orange Firefox button, you can press the ALT key, or press F10 to display the classic menu bar temporarily.

  Purchased a HP 1451nr laptop a few weeks and love, however, today noticed that the touch buttons at the top of the keyboard (the secret button, volume button, and button assistant wireless) on which, in my view, is called capacitive band, do not work.  You can change the volume and mute OK, the sound works fine, just none of the buttons work.

  HP e-mail and they proposed a system restore would solve the problem, and it didn't.  Surely someone else has had this problem... any suggestions?

  Electrical components sometimes must have all the food sources removed and reintroduced to work properly.  Try to perform a hard reset first, if this does not work then we will move on to the next step.

  To perform a hard reset

  • Shut down the computer by going to the menu start and select shut down. (If you have no display, hold the button for 5 seconds)
  • Unplug the adapter from the laptop.
  • Remove the battery from the bottom of the laptop.  There will be a switch/battery eject button.
  • Wait at least 1 minute with all sources of power disconnected.
  • Reinsert the battery and reconnect the power adapter, and then try to turn on the laptop.

  3 are you referring to the options on the right side of the windows or on the left side?

  4. If these options are not available, then how you try to close open windows?
