Direct Connect with GPS or other active data

I'm testing the possibility of using the functionality of direct connection to and from a phone while accessing other critical mission for my work tasks. We require the use of a tracking application that captures and sends GPS coordinates to a server via a data connection and also to connect to work through tasks via a web browser application. Direct connection cannot be launched on the phone while the user has any running application that uses data, it seems. It will work when the tracking application is closed and that the browser is slow and not loading pages, but doesn't if the browser will load a new page, the GPS application is running or even just Google maps. Can you get it someone please let me know if the i1 should be able to use Direct Connect when using other services that use data? I have been informed by Sprint that it is possible (two other applications can run on the data at the same time). The phone lacks a voice, only data plan.

No, you can't. If something is using data on an iDEN connection, that's all. That's all it will do. It's just the nature of identity. If you want a phone that will have voice and data communications at the same time, you need to use CDMA or GSM.

    Gentlemen.

    I have a Curve 8900 with the 4.6.1.133 (Platform 4.2.0.85).

This unit maintains a beep every 10 seconds, I tried to remove the battery when the BB was on, wait a minute, put it again.

I looked at all the configurations.

I Don t no the slightest idea and wanted to throw it in the window.

    Any ideas? Advice?

NEW INFORMATION. The device stores only beep if the wireless connection with the carrier is active. If it s off the beeps stops. I m using Claro to the Brazil.

I found the solution. This is a bug beetween the network operator's SIM card software and the BlackBerry device. It s already solved. I had to follow certain steps to enable and disable a specific feature of the network operator and wait a dialog box confirm my operation.

The beeps comes with the dialog box, but the apears only dialog box if you are in a specific screen of the blackberry. If you are in the home screen, it will not appear and you hear the beep.

Yes, it seems fair to extract still images from the camera will keep the GPS coordinates. This assumes, of course, Traore, the GPS is locked on the satellite. It may take a few seconds to several minutes to reach the lock, so the first photos that you take may not be labeled. I assume that you run an interval picture-taking.

I and others have posted here and in other forums that the GPS coordinates are not very accurate. They may, or may not, be specific to a single shot, but you can't rely on the accuracy of the coordinates. This also applies to the video shot with the AS-100v and AS - 30V. Results on the ground of myself (USA) and a user in Germany confirm that GPS coordinates are not nearly as accurate as it should.

Here's a comparison side by side (images of Google Earth with Garmin vs AS-30V tracks), and it is an analysis using time tag data (again, Garmin vs Sony AS-30V).

It started as soon as I upgraded to v 27; other browsers work fine. Even Facebook pages don't display properly, the line-up is 'off', but I don't know if this is a problem of Firefox or Facebook because they have recently re-designed the page.

In fact, I've upgraded to v28, and now it works! Laughing out loud! Thanks a lot for your help!

  • The GPS data with other analyzed data record

    Hello!

I am a new user of DASYLab and not very good with coding, so please bear with me! I try to record (timestamp, latitude, longitude) already analysed GPS data with other data (accelerometer, etc.) in the same. DDF file. Right, GPS analysed is now sent through a series of three demultiplexers for each signal and only 1 of 16 channels, reducing the size of the output data. This data is then saved in a. The CAD file. Other data on average, recorded in one. DDF file, then saved another. The CAD file. We used to compare the data from the GPS and other devices by comparing timestamps.

I would like to save all data to a file, either. DDF of. CSA (.) DDF would be preferable).

When I try to add more channels in the. DDF save the module after the demultiplexer black box and GPS data to it, I get an error saying "the data to an entry in this module are the wrong type." I also receive this error when trying to send the data GPS to the. CSA Save module. I learned that this means that the size of the files is not the same of this thread. My question is, how can I make sure that the data have the same characteristics of time so I can save to the same file?

If you need more information I would be happy to provide it, I apologize if I have something important to go.

    Thanks for reading,

    etdiv

That's what I needed. Your time is the driver. In the RS232 input module, click the Options button.

Select the measurement of output value, and then click the button on the time Base and select sync/time Base driver.

That should allow you to write to the DDF file.

  • Direct NFS/CIFS connection with 1.4

I see how 1.4 device ports can help with direct connect multi-channel iSCSI. Each tissue Gets a VLAN / subnet, iSCSI has multiple targets via every tissue, etc.

But I do not see how device ports helps direct connect NFS/CIFS. For example,.

In this diagram, the active hosts on the fabric B traffic must pass via the LAN to the North to reach the NAS. Even if each host and unit have its NIC failover configured to prefer the fabric and make pre-emptive, you'll still have failures such as NIC NAS and IOM, which will cause traffic NAS some/all to go through the LAN to the North. So, you have one of two situations:
    (1) the LAN peut process NAS traffic. If so, why not plug the NAS in the local network in the first place?
    (2) the LAN cannot handle the traffic, in which case you have not built tolerance of failure real and, worse still, a UCS problem can affect the LAN.

Am I missing something here? How the ports of the device with a switch mode, shown below?

Yes - you have a valid point on the traffic model following which breaks down etc.

Just to back up a moment...

Version 1.3 and below has 2 types of ports Ethernet - uplink port and the server.

Version 1.4 has 4 port Ethernet - Uplink, server, device, monitoring port types

In point 1.3, to directly connect a NAS to YEW meant that you move the mode switch to the FI, and then set the port to connect to the NAS server as an uplink port. What this has done is that the connection to the NAS port was an a trunk at the end END port allowing all the VLANS (IE no filtering VLANS), no QoS etc. settings.

So if you want to end host mode AND not love you warnings above, connected the NAS to a switch upstream and not UCS and this option is still the spirit you today.

That the port of the unit gives you now, is that the load VLAN the SIN belongs to can be filtered, QoS settings possible and it just works in end host Mode (most deployments are based on it).

Above is the raison d'etre for the port of the device and the port type is neeeded even if it operates today in switch mode.

Now, the question comes back, way mode switch or EHM material (which is what is the question).

In EHM, you're right, the East-West traffic between NAS blades can use the network upstream.

You can design effectively by specifying the id of fabric (A or B as primary) or set the affinity of the fabric if using a switching software but guaranteed location total (without using the network upstream) can be made as you say properly according to 'what' fails.

If all uplinks in failure, so this should switch, but if a link between IOM and the IF fails, then the servers pinned to this link will begin using the external network.

So yes, the network must be designed to keep the flow and that if scenarios in mind. It cannot be assumed not to hit above all East-West traffic.

The long-term solution is to have data between the FI to EHM links or they are even vPC and that's why the two links to the NAS from the FI will be active/active.

Port device in switch mode can be used, but it depends also on which links are blocked etc. PLEASE ensure that.

The topology you mentioned did... but then you should also keep in mind on failurea etc happening is to say that the ISL between YEW should always be forwarding for this VLAN.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Groupwise address book sync with Nextel Direct connect # s for 8350i

Is there a way to synchronize address books for groupwise and 8350i included nextel direct connect information?

    Thank you

Mapping has resolved the problem. GroupWise has no corresponding to 'Direct Connect' field. To facilitate data entry, I traced the Direct Connect field in my 8350i with paginator field in my groupwise address books. Now Synchronization Manager BB the nextel direct connect #'s.

    The steps are:

In the upper frame of the BB desktop, select Configuration synchronization; address book; Advanced; Field Mapping (bottom of list). Map an unused field in the address book of GW with the direct connect field in the 8350i.

I assumethis would also work with outlook and others.

  • How could a routine walk-run? Inside, Indoor walk or another run? I do this routine outdoors with Gps first so that I'm not kidding my calibration data? Help please and thank you!

How could a routine walk-run? Inside, Indoor walk or another run? I do this routine outdoors with Gps first so that I'm not kidding my calibration data? Help please and thank you!

    Hello

Choose indoor walk or run Indoor (it does not matter which) to an indoor walk-run routine.

Even if Apple Watch does not currently offer as a workout interval training, choose one of these allows the most appropriate data sources (which are the same for market and short) to use to track your training.

If walking or running, the accelerometer is used to estimate pace and the distance (allow your arms swinging naturally) as well as the frequency heart sensor for the estimation of calories burned.

Run or walk inside will not affect your calibration data. Calibration is based on the GPS of the iPhone data and is only held during the outdoor walking training or race outdoors when the iPhone combined is taken along.

  • is it possible to establish a direct connection between two computers, one running on windows xp sp2 and other running on windows xp sp3?

    Hello
I connected two computers, one running on windows xp sp2 and others running on windows xp sp3 via com using RS232 port via link Modem DFM-562E ++.
I am able to dial numbers from a PC successfully.
But when I do a direct link between them (one as a host, the other guest) through the com port, I get error 777.
Is this because the two PC's using different service packs?
    Help, please.
    Thank you & best regards
    Ravi

It is not the service pack - although you should have installed sp3 now.

Your message is not clear: have you been able to connect successfully computers using your modem D-Link?  How did you do that?  Will there be a modem in the second computer?

What cable are you using to establish a direct connection between the com ports on both computers?  If you have purchased this cable online, please provide a link to the site where you bought it.

Please describe the physical connection between the two computers.  For example, this is how you connect to the Internet by dial-up services:

    computer 1-{(9 broches) RS-232 serial port}-{RS-232 cable supplied with the modem}-{modem}-{phone cord (RJ-11 modular plugs at each end)}-{telephone wall jack}

    Hello

All trying to fix my computer run Registry cleaners, I managed to delete my Ethernet adapter, I have taken steps to try to fix this problem and have been advice to visit Microsoft support for help.
I have a Dell Dimension 5100 and am running Windows XP, I am unable to connect to the Internet via an Ethernet cable but I am able to connect with other devices.
First of all, I contacted my Internet provider which forced me to various checks to see why I was getting a message saying acquiring network address and it seemed that I had no IP address and could not connect. He eventually get look in the network adapters Device Manager, he demonstrated Intel PRO/100 VE network connection that is activated in the State shows that it works, but there is no Ethernet adapter shown in this place.
I tried to insert Dell drivers and utilities disk, but that does not change.
I tried to download on an other computer files from dell that look like they are pilots.
I tried to set up a new connection
None of what I tried so far seems to have worked, can anyone suggest what I can do to fix this?

  • Crazy slider with GPS connected

I am running Windows 7 and when I restart my computer with GPS plugged into the cursor goes crazy.

I loaded the latest garmin driver and the driver for the new serial port usb converter. (I just bought that the previous one was not compatible with windows 7). However the problem persists.

I did not have this problem with XP or vista.

This behavior is caused by the GPS being misidentified as a modem or trackball series or a mouse series. Misidentification is made in the module serenum.sys, an enumerator of plug-and-play device, which is called by default by most drivers series, including the serial of Windows default drivers. Among other things, this module detects the incoming data to try to identify the various devices series using identification techniques which have been developed in 1995 for pre-existing modems and pointer devices. See: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc767877.aspx for example, or http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/ff547451(v=vs.85).aspx.

The more discreet way to solve this is to change the your series driver .inf file specify that serenum.sys should not be invoked during initialization of the driver for your particular device. Unfortunately, as far as I know, there is no standard method to do this. The option may or may not be available for your particular driver.

There are ways to disable serenum.sys in earlier versions of Windows, but Windows 7 is so good that "fix" himself, it beats many of these old techniques.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Bluetooth connection with others

I have similar problems with other users about the bluetooth connection, my blackberry "BOLD" cannot receive data from the device by using the bluetooth connection. I tried all the steps in the user guide, but nothing helped. What makes me wonder is that it works well, but I don't know, maybe I'm pushing the wrong buttons in the Setup menu? Someone help please? It works fine when it comes to sending data however.

Try resetting the device with the phone, turn on, remove the battery for 30 seconds and reinstall again.

Try matching that of devices again, let me know.
