Pavilion p6608f: upgrade memory for p6608f
Hello, my Pavilion p6608f came with 4 GB of RAM. I want to upgrade. By HP features, the motherboard is a MSI ms-7613 and it should support up to 16 GB of RAM (4 x 4 GB DIMMS). I bought 4 DIMM which seem to fit specifications, but the computer wouldn't POST after installation. I tried reseating the DIMMs, but no luck. My hypothesis is that the memory is not compatible. I'm unable to find good information on the compatible memory for this computer on the site of Kingston, MSI site, or the site of HP. (Any ideas on one) why the memory I bought is not compatible and b) how to find compatible memory?
Thank you.
Saw that Crucial guarantees their recommendations, I'd go with it. You may contact their Customer Service to see what they have to say if you are still skeptical. I have recommended Crucial memory for years without reports of incorrect memory being received.

Pavilion dvr7: upgrade memory for laptop
Hello forum could use some advice. My laptop is a (product of HP Pavilion dv7 notebook # XH108UAR #ABA) currently has two (2 GB 2Rx8 PC3-10600 s - 09-10-F2) of the memory installed modules in it. Can they be improved and replaced with the following memory modules:
Kingston ValueRAM 4 GB Notebook Memory Module - 1333 MHz, DDR3 PC3-10600, SODIMM, CL 9, 204 pins, 1.5V - KVR13S9S8/4
If the answer is "Yes"; This will make a significant difference when it comes to operating speed and the ability to play some of the newer games that require more memory to play. If this isn't the good memory to upgrade my laptop with what I need and how much memory can I add to my system. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Upgrade memory for the L-series satellites
I have just installed a new 512 memory card that works very well.
Is it possible to include the old card 256 as well? After trying to do, he does not connect and I'm afraid to do damage. If possible someone please give me the proverbial 'idiots guide '.
Thank you
Hello
First, you must put the name of the laptop!
How if someone help if the laptop is not known! In any case, if the laptop is able to handle 1 GB memory then it should be possible to use memory modules 512 MB and 256 MB!
But I recommend to use the same modules. Sometimes, it happens that different modules are not compatible and so the laptop cannot start or run correctly!

Question about the upgrade memory for my Satellite M40-307
Sorry for the newbie question. But if I have 512 MB of memory for the time being, what are my upgrade options?
Do I have to buy pairs of memory? So I can or buy 2 x 1 GB = 2 GB, or 2 x 512 MB = 1 GB + 512 existing. Or can I say just buy a single 512 MB or 1 GB chip?
Since no one wants to answer:
1. check if your laptop supports Dual Channel Ram (it should be, but just see the manual to be sure)
2. knowledge of what type of RAM you have. This will add or remove a possibility of upgradeThe thing with Dual Channel is, that you have the best performance if you use 2 RAM of the same type (really of the same type: company, size...)
you could:
3. Add a 512 MB of RAM of the same type you have
3 b. buy 2 pieces of new RAM of the same type (1 GB + 1 GB, or 2 + 2 GB) and do not forget that your laptop supports this quantity (once again: manual to check)You will also find in the manual, if your computer supports DDR or same DDR2 RAM (faster)
If you have lost your manual, you can download it here on the toshiba Web page
I hope I could help a little.

recommendation of the memory for the guest operating system
Hi guys,.
I need some advice
I have a pile of vsphere 5 made of 2 servers on each server that I have on 5 VM
(1) domain contoller 2008 standard edition + dhcp + dns
2) exchange 2010
(3) file server
(4) primavera
My question is what is the recommended memory and cpu for these VM configuration? I'm a bit confused
What happens if I don't set up the limits and booking hotel and leave all default? What is the point of the week in this configuration? If I leave all default each VM does not use memory a cpu as it needs?
Thank you specify in advance
To add the tips of memory... Many people allocates memory for the virtual machines that will never be used, and ultimately you consume the memory of your host much faster than necessary. Start low when allocating memory to a virtual computer. Adding memory is simple to make, after you have collected on the functioning of your host performance data. The Performance tab will show you what is happening.

Questions about the upgrade memory for gateway P55C-200
It comes from an old computer from 1997. I'm trying to update and upgrade for the treatment of text and with older games who have worked on it, even if a bit slower that I liked. MDK is a favorite. I add that a little more RAM will help. It has windows 95 on it. He is currently in good working condition. I have a perfectly good printer and a scanner that I can't use it on my other computers with operating systems newer, but which works well on this one. The computer has a card? IRE 32meg with a spare slot, CPU Pentium 200 HZ and a 4G IDE hard drive.
What type of card m? IRE this computer accepts it and how can I add? The existing memory card has no info about it. I visited the manufacturing sites of memory several, and they come in white for this computer only. I think maybe it's SDRAM PC66, but I don't know. Any information would be appreciated.
I just ordered two 128 meg sticks, clock 4, CL3, PC66. Who will be my max at the limit of my system to 256 meg. I still don't know whether or not the card memory factory was PC66, as there was no label on it, and my manual is non-specific, because it covers a group of computers that use the same series of motherboard. The seller did some research and said the Board recommended will work for me. He gave me a link http://panam.gateway.com/s/motherbd/intel/m00260/m0026023.shtml that my Board is covered by the listed series. I guess in a week or so I'll know. Thank you all for your help.
