  I work with a HP Pavilion g6-2235us Notebook PC (C2N50UA #ABA), with Windows 8.  I ordered the HP system recovery media and tried to restore the laptop to factory settings.  I get the 3 DVDs and the drive, and then at the helm of the 6% of the final restoration of the blocking of the process step.

  Error codes 24 characters for short and long drive Self Test (DST) would indicate that hard is defective and must be replaced.  It is also compatible with the inability to install the operating system.

  Everyone with this laptopn is having the same problems as me?

  It seems that this laptop is to reach dangerously high temperature of 65 degrees celcius (when I play games) that will certainly shorten the life of my laptop in the long term for sure. I even bought a portable Zalman NC1000 pad cooling and reduced only by about 2-10 degrees! I tried a friends laptop Samsung and it was as cool as a cucumber! What is going on?

  I really don't want to have it send for repairs in the next year or have to buy a new computer, I'm short of funds as it is!

  65 degrees Celsius is not a dangerously high temperature. I have core i7 at 40-45 degrees idle if you play games 65 degrees is a very good value. I saw 60 to 70 degrees during the compilation of a program of 65 degrees is a common value when you play. Do not worry..

• HP Pavilion G6 of heating like crazy

  2 years ago I bought a laptop HP Pavilion G6 with a local distributor in Romania and noticed that the laptop heats up like crazy in the left side. I can't keep it even on my knees because it literally Burns me.

  When the laptop was still in the warranty period, I went to the dealer and they sent to 'fix '.  For a month the laptop was good, but then the same story: heat like crazy.

  This is my first laptop and now the warranty period is over.

  I am also living in a different country than the one I bought the laptop. (she now lives in Colombia, the laptop was purchased in Romania)

  It is a crucial problem.  The computer should certainly be not heat it.  I suggest a thorough cleaning.  In addition, it is best that you do not sit with the laptop on your lap.  This could block the vents and cause overheating.  You could try a laptop cooler.  The laptop is sitting on it and a fan blows cool air inside.

  It does not, I suggest to take it to a qualified computer repair shop.  It will cost a lot less to have the laptop burn.

  Hi just got a hp pavilion desktop p6217uk yesterday and I seem to have a problem with the fan. It becomes very quiet (even off I think) and then progressively louder until she screams so I can't hear the sound from the speakers more. • MacBook pro 15 "heating problem

  My MacBook Pro that I bought in early 2015, has recently started abnormally warm under normal workload.

  Have you tried to do a disk fragment?

  Is the noisy fan or turn constantly?

  Is the hotter than normal PC?

  Have you tried tests to hardware failures?

  Hi everyone, I just got my x 380 13-4110dx spectrum model. After months of research on laptops, I settled on the spectrum, and it had shipped all the way from the United States to Bangladesh here. Needless to say that the questions arises as soon as I turned on the thing, so that's:
  
  TOUCHPAD:
  This is the big one. I'm used to having the page move down with my fingers while two fingers to scroll, but the direction of travel is reversed by default with coasting trade licence. However, when it is turned off reverse the scrolling and cabotage in the settings of synaptics it seems to work on some applications and not anothers. I tried to reset the onboard computer and reinstall the driver software AND I also tried to install the latest drivers from the synaptics Web site. Nothing works not so far
  
  HEAT:
  The bottom tends to run very hot even with normal web browsing, so I can not put the thing on my lap for a long time. I have install the fan to operate always from the BIOS, but its still the same. At this temperature, I do not know how long the material is going to hold up

  After a lot of frustration, for the past few weeks my touchpad has been behaving satisfactorily. Here's what I've done, maybe it will help someone else here who has the same problem:

  • Make sure the driver is updated to 192.0.12.107
  • Go to Device Manager, open the properties of the mouse and click on 'Update device driver.
  • In the wizard that opens, click on "Browse my computer for driver software".
  • Then select "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
  • In the next window, uncheck "See list of compatible hardware" and search for and select "Synaptics Clickpad SMBus"
  • Install and reboot the computer

  Windows installs the driver Synaptics Touchpad of SMBus by default, which leads to the scrolling issues I was experiencing. The pilot clickpad works much better. I don't know how the two drivers are different, but it worked for me

• Satellite P100-307 - massive heat problem, keypad heater

  Had my Satellite P100-307 for almost two years now and it's a good and useful media-notebook, but it never HOT side left keyboard, especially games.

  But in recent weeks, the keyboard is pretty HOT and I don't know why! Because I6vgt ´m using only low level applications.

  I did a full restore to clean any virus or other malware, but it continues to get hot, as if I where in the highest graphics modes, the games, but just I m using IE7 and a LateX editor for the creation of PDF Documents - that s nothing for a dual-core processor! Kaspersky 7.0 has been throtteld down, as far as the security is allwoing it.

  So why it s heat like that in 30 to 60 Minutes. He has never done this before, I m sure.

  It s so hot, it's quite unpleasant to work with her, because placing even the heel of your hand next to the touchpad makes my hand sweating!

  Looks like the laptop is overheated, it is a common problem with laptops that are used in a dusty environment (a room with carpet, for example).

  Buy compressed air in a box and spray it in the vents to remove dust.

  Click to expand the category graphics cards.

  If the driver is correctly installed, you will see both

  Intel HD Graphics

  AMD Radeon 7600 M or series 7670M graphics card listed there.

  If you see those, then you are right.  It is not a driver problem.
