  • On the Pavilion dv6 network error

I use a HP Pavilion d6-2190us. operating system is Windows 7 64 bit. When I started this morning, I was greeted with the following error:

Windows has detected an IP address conflict
Another computer on the network has the same IP address that
This computer. Contact your network administrator for help
to resolve this issue. More details are available in the windows
    In the system event log.

Since I'm only one computer on my wireless network, it is quite confusing. What measures, if any, should be taken?

I had this problem in the past with a laptop. To resolve this problem, all you need to do is restart the modem. I would recommend the tension of your devices (printer and laptop, pull the power cable to the back of your wireless router or modem, wait 30 seconds and plug it back. When all the lights are back on and stabilized, turn on your laptop and printer. When they finish of turning it back on, the router will assign them new IP addresses. This should prevent you from having more conflicting IP addresses.

  • Pavilion dv7: network card driver

    Hi guys,.

I have recently reinstalled windows 7 on my dv7 still and went to install my usual network driver

"Broadcom Wireless LAN Driver for Microsoft Windows 7 x 64"

    File name: sp57965.exe

and it did not work. What is going on?

    You are the very welcome.

Unfortunately, I do not know what you can do about it.

I imagine that the Dell card is not compatible with your PC.

At least you know the original card was bad (and not the motherboard), the power of card Dell upward.

Get the part number of the old HP card (part number is on the sticker with replacement HP spare) and get one on eBay.

Search for the part number.  You should be able to get a cheap land.

  • H8 Pavilion - 1280t: HP Pavilion HPE network connection not MPS 1000

    Hello

My wired network connection is only 100 Mbps instead of 1000 Mbps. I have an end switch 24 ports. Other systems are shoeing 1000 Mbps connections. All HP updates are up to date. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Darrell

    Hi, Darrell:

According to the specifications of your PC, it comes with a gigabit ethernet RTL8171EH-CG controller.

On my professional notebook HP 350 G1 with a Realtek gigabit ethernet controller, the tab advanced settings for the ethernet controller in the Device Manager it is a setting the speed and Duplex.

The default value on mine is auto-negotiation, and when I connect a cat 5e cable to the ethernet port, I get a 1 Gbps connection.

However, there are other settings in the drop-down menu on mine allowing me to put a 1.0 Gbps full duplex connection.

You can try if your card has the same group of settings.

My son has a 580 s Dell.  This PC has a Broadcom gigabit ethernet card and I couldn't get the thing to connect to more than 100 Mbps.

After checking on some forums, it turns out that on this platform, you must connect a Cat 6 cable to the ethernet port in order to get a speed of 1 Gbps of the thing.

I got a cable Cat 5e branch above and when I changed to Cat 6, Lo and behold, I got the 1 Gbps connection, that it has been evaluated.

  • Pavilion hp networkable G6

    Hello

I have a laptop HP G6-1335SD and have just reinstalled windows 7.  It seems that I need drivers for the Netwerkcontroller and SM-buscontroller, Wifi doesn't work. I tried looking for the drivers but nothing helped. Could someone direct me to the right link. It's 32-bit and most of the downloads are 64-bit.

It's no wonder that nothing I gave works...

I thought that this laptop has an Intel processor and chipset for some reason any.

    This driver should work...

I zipped and tied the under attachments below smbus controller driver.

Unzip the file in a folder.  Do nothing with the files in the folder.

Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus needing drivers.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected, and the driver should install.

    Then restart.

  • HP Pavilion p6520y (win7) built-in wireless adapter will not detect ANY wireless network.

HP Pavilion p6520y Desktop on Windows 7 Home Premium

Error MESSAGE: "DO NOT CONNECTED - NO CONNECTION IS AVAILABLE" (from the tray icon of wireless with X red network connection).

No changes to the system, in fact, it's brand new. I just want to use my built-in 802.11n Wireless LAN Card to connect to a network including all other PCs (laptops and desktop computers) can see.

I tried a lot of things: toggle, adapter, adapter to uninstall/install, driver update (RT3090), PC restore/recovery, reset the router, change the configuration of the card (e.g., power management), all no. AVAIL.

There is a port of type mini co - ax at the back of the tower for an ANTENNA which came with the PC. However, I think that the internal card could still detect a signal from 20 ft away without antenna. Isn't it?

    PROBLEM SOLVED:

Of course, the last thing I mentioned was the cause. I have set up the office within inches of the wireless router and a signal (albeit low) was detected.

So I guess the fixing of an antenna (which should have with my PC) will improve the signal reception when the office is further away (say 20 ft, or more). already checked radio shack with no luck.

In any case, at least, I know what the problem is. Hope this helps someone in a similar scenario... See you soon...
