Pavilion HPE: I need the jetty (or HP) part number connector PCI-e edge to replace on a H8 - 1360t

PCI-e GPU in my H8 - 1360t was pulled without releasing the tab on the connector edge first. Therefore, the connector plastic pulled free of the fingers. The PC is long out of warranty and it would be excluded from the guarantee in any case.

This leaves the PC unusable because plastic case can not be delayed to the fingers. If the motherboard will need to be removed and replaced the edge of the PCI-e connector.

The connector is made by Jetty, but has no part on that number. I need a reference number in order to get a replacement. As far as I know, there is no manual tech specific part for the motherboard I could mention this information. She will have to come from a person to HP.

Help.

A difficult search for the part.

  • Pavilion HPE 440F: need new video card for HPE-440F

    Salvation;

The ATI Radeon HD 5570 in my Pavilion HPE 440F appears to be dead, or is doing. The fan has stopped working and I think the map has overheated.

    I'm running Windows 7 x 64.

Anyway - I would like to install a new card - and best video. It is, since it is HP, I bet that not all cards are compatible with my system.

For example, I can buy an ATI Radeon SR-290, which gets much higher than my current card pass mark. Or maybe even a NVidia card might be a better value for the money.

Can someone point me to a list of compatible video cards for my system?

    Thank you

    Ubuntu_Kid

p.s. My Linux box is not an HP.

    Ubuntu_Kid, welcome to the forum.

The problem you are having is, most of the newer video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  Your computer was released on August 26, 2010.

Some of the manufacturers have developed a VBIOS that will allow their cards to work with legacy BIOS.  I know that the EVGA has done with some of their cards.  I suggest to call their Tech Support (1888-880-3842) to see if they have a card that will work with your computer.

    Hi all

I am currently refurbishing a 300 - 11W X, and I need to know the number of part of optical drive to find a replacement.

Any ideas? Or know where I can buy a replacement at low prices in the United Kingdom?

    Thank you!

    Hello

As far as I know, you will find a list of compatible ratings in the Qosmio X 300 user manual.
    Have you checked it?

In addition, you can order all the compatible parts of a Toshiba ASP (authorized service provider) available in your country.

  • Pavilion HPE-110nl lost the physical memory

Product name: HP Pavilion Elite HPE - 110nl desktop PC

    OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 SP1

After an electricity break my PC had only 2008 total physical memory MB instead of the normal MB 6104. The memory is there (SIW Gabriel Topala, gives information, 3 Slots with 2048 MB memory-property), but is not displayed in the system - physical memory summary. Already before this summer, this problem existed without clear reason. He disappeared until the day when, after a sudden power outage cost in our village. Control procedure of memory Windows was OK, and also the recovery of the system did not have any results.

Note that after the blackout, there was an announcement, which I took the default choice of the two options to continue with the PC to connect. I don't remember what was said in the announcement.

    Hello

The NVIDIA GTX 960 requires the motherboard support UEFI and your PC does not have UEFI support.

The NVIDIA GTX 660 or 660TI should work on your PC when matched with the right kind of food.

You can also check with Sapphire recommendation on which of the latest Sapphire graphics cards could run on a PC equipped with a legacy BIOS.  Find out what the return policy is before you buy.

I would like to replace the default Radeon HD 7450, which was built in desktop and replace it with a Nvidia GeForce GTS 450, my question is, is it compatible with my motherboard? Everything in the desktop computer is the same, except that I replaced the power supply with a Corsair CX600. As is all other compatible with the motherboard Angelica 2 graphics cards? Thank you!

    Shadgam, welcome to the forum.

New after the 640 GT video cards require UEFI in the motherboard instead of the standard BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.

I see no reason why the GTS 450 (see card) is not working on your computer.  Your motherboard has a PCI Express x 16 (Gen.2) slot.  You can always call the manufacturer's Technical Support to make sure the card you have chosen will work.

  • HP Pavilion HPE h8 - 1380t CTO: compatibility problems, ask questions about knitting-by-turn or possible motherboard replacement.

I recently baught an EVGA GTX 1060, as this 630 became quite long in the tooth and I thought that I would try to future proof myself a little as the rest of my components seem to be working very well.  However, I can't get the map to work correctly on this particular computer.  Oddly enough, I can get past that screen startup finally after several short beeps and let it sit, but it takes fowever to reach the office and clearly is not executed properly that the resolution is wobbly and software from Nvidia cannot even detect the card.  I guess I had got this far because of the onboard graphics of some sort, but AFAIK this motherboard which lacks.

I know that the card works fine as I tested it in my other Tower, so I struggled to find a solution.  So far, it seems that the problem is most likely the motherboard, as HP does not have a new BIOS for it since the beginning of 2013 (which I did go ahead and install it).  If true, I find myself with either two options, it seems that the ditch system, entirely or find a motherboard that works with all my old components.  I'd rather not have to empty this workaholic, when all other parts work great, if it is not a work around I would like to know if there are motherboards I could pass that would work with the rest of my components.  Normally I would not bother with even apply for, but I hear a lot of chatter on HP PCs pre-constructed having compatibility problems.

I bought this computer there is in the case of four years that I would be able to update as I do with any other PC, but I didn't know at the time that HP has a tendency to not update the BIOS settings for anything beyond a year which I admit is incredibly frustrating.  What is done is done however, and I want to make this work without having to clear the entire system.

GPU (stock): Nvidia GeForce GT 630 (this is replaced by the EVGA GTX 1060)

    @Faver, welcome to the forum.

Your problem is the BIOS.  However, it is because the 1060 GTX requires UEFI in the motherboard instead of a standard/Legacy BIOS.  HP didn't start using UEFI until mid-October 2012.  The BIOS may not be upgraded in the UEFI.  The last cards only not for UEFI were the GTX 660/670.

MSI made cards with a switch that can be used with a Legacy BIOS or UEFI.  If you decide to go this way, you must contact their Technical Support to help them choose the best card for your system.

The upgrade of the motherboard can be a problem.  HP has taken advice their specifications.  Therefore, they are not necessarily the same as the commercial versions.  Please make sure that the holes in the motherboard matches the accessory in the case.  In addition, some members have had problems with the connectors in the connections case before, for example, the power button.

  • Re: What is the part number?

    Hello people...

I was wondering what the part number is suppose to say? Does this affect the specification of your laptop to another? for example, I have this laptop [Satellite A300 - 1 G 5 | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?service=EU&com.broadvis ion.session.new = Yes & PRODUCT_ID = 1055589]. As you can see from the link, the laptop displays a part number: PSAG4E-_ * 03801 MG 3 * _. On my laptop cover, the label of the model is identical to the first part, but different on the second, its written like this: PSAG4E-_ * 03801HAR * _, have you noticed the difference? How important is this difference?

I'll explain why Im concerned about it once I get a clarification on what means the part number... Thank you

    Hello Poison

AFAIK, part number is a kind of identification number. Each laptop model is available with several different hardware configurations and different hardware components.

Your Satellite A300 has PSAG4E model number. MU by Satellite A300 has PSAG8E part number.
When you visit the Toshiba download page, where you can choose model right after the part number. Drivers available for your PSAG4E probably won't be the same as for my PSAG8E.

I don't know what the difference is, but maybe my laptop model has other graphics card, the sound card or the card wireless network may be. This part of the part number is important to you.
Other numbers behind this first part of the part number is depending on the country and it is absolutely irrelevant for you.

    So, what's your concern?

The PC boots, the fans run and everything just no display. It works with two other Radeon PCI-E graphics cards, but it does not start. 285 graphics card works in another computer, but will not work on this one. I tried to uninstall the old graphics card drivers and no luck.

Thank you for the additional information.

Since you had the card running in another computer, you must have connected the two power connectors 6 pins.

If it were me, I would XFX Service contact customer (800-880-3225) to see what they have to say about your problem.  It may be a BIOS problem.  They need the specifications of your computer.
