  You can often view the model number, serial number etc if you hold down the fn key and press ESC.

  If this does not work, you can also find this info in the menu of the bios as follows.

  Shut down the laptop.

  Click next to the ESC key as soon as you start Notepad to open the Start Menu, then choose f10 to open the Bios Menu.  The information you need will be located in the 1 tab

  I try to access my BIOS but do not have the administrator password.

  When trying to jump by pressing on enter it fails and I get a message "system disabled [12345678]."

  I think that the laptop uses the Toshiba BIOS and that is why you need to press F1, immediately after the laptop has been powered.

  Shut down the laptop - if you're running Windows 8/8.1, do it by holding down the button SHIFT left click Shutdown to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot.

  Robinet tap away at the key esc you start Notepad to open the Start Menu, then select f10 to open the Bios Menu.

  These drivers came a g6t-2000 which is newer than yours.

  The g6-1b79dx does not come with USB3 ports, and it uses an older version of the Intel Management Engine Interface driver.
