How do you report a message when your level is higher than 150 points. The report option does not appear in the drop-down arrow for me.

I have long used the method to copy and paste texts and/or pictures to TextEdit and print files .rtf or .rtfd below:

I use the command-control-shift-4 and the cursor to select things and paste into TextEdit.

That stopped working in the Sierra. I tried several methods (PDF format conversion, fall in Pages and Numbers, for example), but nothing worked: the Canon PIXMA MX922 printed on a white sheet and left the box of small characters with text "filter impossible."

There is no new printer driver on the Canon site; However, there is a new driver IJ Scan Utility and I downloaded it already after that installation of Sierra and the scanner works fine, as also directly print something (e.g. on the Web).

Now, after several days of testing and I was wondering, I tried this yesterday:

Instead of the above command, I used (which I do when I want to save it to the desktop) command + shift + 4. I copied the file .png from office, dropped in the TextEdit, printed, and... IT WORKED.

Copy and leaving fall directly in the TextEdit and printing, is so not working, but let fall the same screenshot on the desktop and copy and paste into TextEdit and it print shops.

I noticed several other annoying problems to Sierra, some I've reported here (communities), some didn't. Business-as-usual: first version of an upgrade is full of bugs, which 'disappear' in future versions, until a new update is made available, the loop continues, continues, and...

I started using the vCLI perl script and I managed to get a lot of information on my hypervisor thanks to hostinfo.pl, dsbrowse.pl and vminfo.pl.
I have a problem to get the number and the size of the disk of each virtual machine...
It must be easy, but I currently don't found it!
I keep on searching but if anyone has the answer, please help me!

The vSphere SDK for Perl utilities that are grouped with vCLI are just a few examples of what you can do with the vSphere API, it covers all use cases.

You can easily recover the virtual disk number and it is a virtual machine size looking material device table http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vc-sdk/visdk41pubs/ApiReference/vim.vm.VirtualHardware.html of the virtual machine and looking specifically for the VirtualDisk, from there, you can query all the disks and there ability to http://www.vmware.com/support/developer/vc-sdk/visdk41pubs/ApiReference/vim.vm.device.VirtualDisk.html using the capacityInKB property.

Take a look at this sample of vSphere SDK for Perl script which queries all the VMDK (s) of a virtual machine, you can easily modify the script to include the ability:

Looks like you want to disable Live Photo when shooting. Live Photo is enabled by default. To turn on or turn off, tap on the Live Photos, and when this icon is yellow, pictures Live is on. Here is additional information that will help to understand further.

How can I encrypt a drive where cs diskutil convert reports 'a problem', let the unreadable disk?

I try to encrypt my Time Machine backup volume, but diskutil refuses and leaves the disc unreadable (but fixable using Linux). How can I proceed?

It is a disc of TB USB3 Western Digital Elements 107 3.

It has one HFS partition + and works very well.

diskutil verifyDisk and diskutil verifyVolume don't report any problems. I also used Alsoft DiskWarrior to repair inconsistencies, without problems.

If I try to convert the volume, diskutil report 'a problem', like this:

This leaves the unreadable disk. diskutil cs list shows the drive as a basic storage volume that is "online" and "reversible" but it may not be mounted or acted on, nor can the physical volume of the parent. Disk utility crashes at startup when the drive is connected. diskutil repairDisk on volume of parent reports:

    Repairing the partition map might erase disk4s1, proceed? (y/N) y
    Started partition map repair on disk4
    Checking prerequisites
    Problems were encountered during repair of the partition map
    Error: -69808: Some information was unavailable during an internal lookup

In fact, all access to the disc seems to be broken at this point.

    gpt show: unable to open device '/dev/disk4': Input/output error

You cannot read the device using hexdump. The kernel seems mightily confused.

I was able to recover the disc mounting Linux using the utility 'gdisk' to change the partition type to AF02 (storage of carrots) to AF00 (HFS +). After that, diskutil checks the disk so the volume as OK.

I think that Apple has a bug where diskutil fails to return the partition type.

But this me no bugs more closely to encrypt my backup volume.

Anyone have any idea what might be the 'problem' and how do I proceed?

I doubt I'm the only one that has fallen on this so far with PowerCLI 5.0.

With vSphere 4.1 (I think) we could start implementing host & groups of MV and then used DRS capacity evolved to pair them with affinity or anti affinity. I found features to create new groups and add to the existing (thanks Arnim & Luc - http://communities.vmware.com/message/2040365 ) but I'm having a hard time finding a report that could give me the content of these rules (with groups and the configuration of the associated rule) that we have in our environment of DRS of advances.

I had extremely bad luck with Onyx (it always crashes on me) so I'm wandering in the dark on this issue. Thoughts?

Custom attributes / warehouses of data in reports

If that's the answer somewhere if I apologize, I have watched honest
I want to find a method to get a report of my virtual machines, similar to the csv/excel doc, you can buy just to make a list of a host/vcenter export. However, I also wanted to include in this list the store of data/s(not LUNs) these virtual machines are connected to.
From what I can tell and I'm not an expert, it is not a simple way to have a custom 'fill' attribute or automatically generate this type of information. I'm fairly certain that at least must be an easy way to do something like that but, I don't know how. Also, I thought it could be very easy to do with powercli, however, of course I don't know how to do it.
If someone could help, I would be very happy.
