  No you don't need to sign in order to qualify. You will need to sign it later so that you can actually so people can actually buy/download your application.

  This is caused by a bug in the 1.5.0 packaging Android tools.  To resolve the problem, upgrade to version 1.5.2 .

  We use the 7.2.12.04.25 32-bit version of ADI on a machine IBM P750 running AIX 5.3.  The correct application of the Oracle is version 11.5.10 on a 10G database.  We have two users who are unable to download each other spreadsheets, but are able to upload their own.  Another user is able to download the worksheets created by both users who cannot download all other worksheets.  ADI settings seem to be the same, and users choose the same responsibility.  Database properties appear to be the same as well inside spreadsheets.  One option would be to copy the contents of the worksheet to the other person in one they have created, and then load it but this process is too cumbersome to entertain.  Has anyone met and solved this problem?  The mistake they see is "you have not signed the required Applications database.

  I have seen this error on several messages in the forum, but none of the suggested corrections works for me.

  I am signing my App BB10 ready to be distributed. It draws very well and I also installed the two relevant files of the LSB and followed the registration procedure. The author.p12 and other files exist in %HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Research In Motion

  However, when I try to run the following commands, it fails. I also tried to use the graphical help of BlackBerry Tablet OS and I get the same error.

  The only thing I noticed is if I run: echo %homepath%, the result is:------. I can't change what I am on Windows 7 on an Active Directory domain and any changes made to these environment variables does not stick.

  Is there a way to specify the path to the author.p12 file? Help, please! The output is below:

  I corrected myself. I realized all I had to do was to create a local user (no AD) on my machine, copy RIM folder my HOMEPATH to HOMEPATH to the local user, then run cmd.exe as the local user and sign the binary file. Worked fine!

  I get an error when I SELECT a value that is not present in the database (planned). But it is not to be taken by the errorHandler function.

  I would like to note that my selectStmt (function readFromDatabase()) is identical to the one on Adobe livedocs, so I am confident that the code is correct.

  Let's say, for simplicity, that my database table has authors.fName and authors.lName columns.

  If I get a letter in my txtIn.text (which is copied to a string variable which is part of the SELECT statement) and the SELECT function cannot find an exact match in the table, I'm getting a TypeError: Error #1009. I understand why. But the SQLErrorEvent.Error isn't the event capture.

  Apparently, does not find a value in the table is not a SQLErrorEvent?

  What is the value of the present: var numResults:int = result.data.length; If there is no data? Null value? Followed by a null value does not seem to work.

  This is normal behavior for a select statement to return 0 rows of data.  This isn't a SQL error, that is why there is no SQLError to catch.

  If you take a look at the documentation for the SQLResult.data property

  The last line of the docs States:

  This property is null if a statement returns no data. This is the case if the statement is not a SELECT statement, or if it is a SELECT statement that returns 0 rows.

  Thus, in order to validate if data has been returned before trying to access real data, you should just check if .data is null.

  in your code:

  I had a computer problem, and HE had to reinstall some hardware on my PC - now when I try to compile the application it comes up with error 7, no matter where I put it. It seems that is not the creation of the file at the destination. Any thoughts on how to solve this problem?

  See the .VI really doesn't help us.  Nothing seems obviously wrong in it.  And the problems with creating applications are more likely to be caused by a parameter in the Build specification in the Project Explorer of what anyone in a VI.

  Have what hardware changed on your PC?  Was - this hardware DAQ?  Was - this PC hardware such as a hard drive?  Is it possible they did more that you thought they were like changing user permissions or take away admin rights?  You are an administrator on your computer?

  Error 7 is file not found.  Which tells me that it is more likely, that it is trying to find a file to read.  I guess it's also possible that it is looking for a location to save the file, but perhaps this path no longer exists.  Check all path definitions in your build specification to ensure that they still exist.  Perhaps there is a subtle change that was not obvious as a path now as a space at the end.
