PC Cleaner Pro v. 10 really is a Microsoft Certified partner?

I downloaded PC Cleaner Pro due to a problem of rundll32.exe. After race/download software that nothing had changed, so I contacted there support line and they were able to fix my problem and get rid of virus/malware issues 3. The only thing is now my disk defragmentation utility is now disabled and some features of my Verizon Security Suite software powered by Mcafee not working, I get the error messages. I just want to know if PC Cleaner Pro is legitimate, or if I should get rid of it and try to get a refund (if that's even possible) PC cleaner pro.

We could have asked "what & where is he supposed to clean '... Microsoft never offered

such an article... In any event, be a "certified partner" isn't saying much at all, microsoft

has several levels of certifications. Being a certified partner is at the bottom of the list...

Thet also seems not to fix everything if they caused other problems.

In regards to defrag, try to run, type: cmd cmd type: Defrag C:

If this does not work, try kb922379

  • Should I uninstall PC Cleaner Pro?

I have a problem with Windows Media Player.  I did a search for 'Windows Media Player Fix'.  I clicked on a site which had the logo of Microsoft in the address bar and click on "fix now", and PC Cleaner Pro was downloanded.  When I click "Run", he did a scan and said that my computer has more than 3,000 problem that had to be fixed.  When I click 'fix now', I asks me to register.  After that, I'm suddenlys asked not to purchase the product at a special price of $29.95 - there is no mention of the cost prior to this point.

Have I been scammed, and my pc is today under threat?  I did not buy a product - I thought I was getting a fix from Microsoft for my computer.  I closed the window - should I uninstall PC Cleaner Pro?  It is now listed under all programs - but since I didn't buy it, I'm leering to try to use it.

In addition, what is PMB Launcher?  Some how its icon and help to PMB, poppped up on top of my computer - I didn't knowingly download it.

    Thank you.

Of course, you should be concerned.  No matter what program that does no benefit apparent but gets itself installed and then taking measures either make it difficult to uninstall it should be presumed guilty until proven innocent.  There are lots of lucrative things, mean that a program can do to your PC once you have given the OK to install.  Programs running all the time and have been installed with privileges you - that's why Windows will ask you if you allow installation - can do things like snoop your files or watch as you type a password.  The fact that he tries to avoid uninstalling there as evidence that its creators see some advantages to keep on your machine and makes him suspicious.

If you want to install a product cleaning or antivirus, so don't forget the company, you buy some.  Unfortunately, bad companies have become very smart in the game system - creating several websites, supposed to give rave reviews, fake users on legitimate review sites, etc.  I really have no idea how say you who you can trust.  For this company, I have no way of knowing trust them or not.  But your question, bad things can happen in a program just to be on your computer - absolutely.  Do not install foreigners.

  • How can I know that PC Cleaner Pro removal is removed completely from my computer?

How will I know if PC Cleaner Pro is gone entirely?  After learning, it was spyware, I uninstalled it through Control Panel.  After seeing several posts on the deletion, I looked through the registry and see nothing that says PC Cleaner Pro but identifies my Iolo System Mechanic PC Cleaner Pro as a protector of malware correct while I had both Avira and Norton it did not detect either...  So where is it?  I get no pop ups for PC Cleaner so I he and where is he?  From many different sites on its withdrawal invites you to download the fix.  None of them are legitimate?

How will I know if PC Cleaner Pro is gone entirely?

It seems that there are TWO different PC Cleaner Pro there. One is the legitimate program (but there still little or no value). The other is a thug. Malware. There are chances of your infected PC.
Only SUPERAntiSpyware is NOWHERE near enough! You really need to run MBAM (the free version is very well; you can refuse trial):
Very well, you will need to search for rootkits as well.

  • Another question reg clean pro

Norton found and removed Reg Clean Pro and another file:

I searched online and found that it was a PUPPY. I wanted to try to find when it was installed - I never click on any 'Free Registry manager/scanner"or similar. My first step was to go to the start icon and click on "search programs and files" and it is up to what seemed to be confirmation that the program was OK, that it was part of the Console in Windows registry:

I tried again to be sure but misspelled the name such as reg cleen pro. She is like OK again. So I tried a really stupid name and it also came back like OK:

Norton has deleted it so why is on my PC, the find command find these absurd results? Does anyone here know it please?

You may have noticed that the properties are the same for both of your "research". It's because he reports reg.exe properties in both cases.

The pieces that you type after "reg" (note the space after reg) are superfluous.

Reg.exe is the tool 'register Console' (a legitimate file, nothing to do with the regclean pro).

If you had not already deleted it you could have found his date of installation in the Control Panel programs and features. I suspect that Norton doesn't do a complete elimination so its entry may still be there.

If it is still listed under programs and features, most likley you will find other programs are installed on the same date, indicating that it has been installed as part of a bundle, perhaps because he had a legitimate piece of software you've wanted to be installed at the same time - most of the time this happens because people to Google for the program they want and choose the first that hit much of the time, is not the site of software manufacturers and the program they want gets delivered by the alternative site with loads of the other drossware.

From a pop-up Savecard (clean pro) who has performed an analysis of my computer and claimed there is more 2 500 errors and immediate action has been called for, so I paid for their download, received a key entered carefully, and then verified that it was OK.  I was told that the key was invalid.

I recommend that you never use a registry cleaner. They are just snake oil and often cause more harm than good and serve no real purpose. Try to get your money back.

PC CLEANER PRO HAS LEGITIMATELY APPROVED, MICROSOFT HAS APPROVED SOFTWARE PARTNER OR A SCAM PROGRAM WITH THE HELP OF THEIR SEAL OF APPROVAL?

    Hello

PC Cleaner Pro is not a legitimate software approved by Microsoft, it is a third party software.  It's just another software registry cleaner on the market.

Note: Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

I called their support number, they had me goggle Logmein.com.  When this field is born they then hit me logmein123.  I refused to do this step.  Any suggestion on how to rid my computer of this abomination?

No, no, you haven't.  PC Cleaner Pro 2012 is a scam, you have a virus/trojan infected/infested with who was * not * offered by Microsoft.

Next time - before starting to fall in love with anything - do a little research.  They had you 'Google' (no glasses, although there is an app called Google Goggles for some phones, I digress) - you should do the same for products and other things that you don't understand / do not know in the future.

    For example:
    http://lmgtfy.com/?q=what+is+PC+cleaner+Pro+2012

In any case - first glance at this conversation (could have been found by searching these forums before and after validation):

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/Windows_7-performance/how-do-i-remove-PC-cleaner-Pro-2012/f6ace5cf-3b86-477a-8288-95faba6eb369?page=1&TM=1330789509510

It should help to clean up a bit.  Don't be surprised, however, if your machine still does not quite "act right" and you end up having to restore the system to the factory settings and the restoration of your personal affairs of backups (assuming you have).

I'm not being rude, straight forward.  The links above should help you in several ways.  First - maybe you will, subsequently, research things a bit.  Secondly, maybe the cleaning and the list of the programs of the second related conversation you will get applications that can better protect your system (a combination of eSet NOD32 AntiVirus and MalwareBytes would probably have prevented this problem.)  Last - backups are mentioned because it is one of the wonderful things about computers and the data they contain, and are not necessarily real subject of other things in life, you may have... Low cost, you can save the important parts to return to another easily place disaster... It is unwise just to not to do so.

    Hope that helps!
