PC decided after 3 years that windows is not valid...
I bought a pc with windows 7 and put to level toward 64-bit 3 years ago. He decided today that the version is not valid. There was a number of hard disk failure. How can I find the question correctly. The license number on the pc is too faded as follows.
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the button copy in the tool (ignore the error at this stage), and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.
-* in your own thread *, please
Please also state the Version and edition of Windows cited on your COA sticker (if you a) in the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but does NOT quote the key on the sticker!

When I came out of hibernation, a window appears saying that Windows is not genuine
Windows not genuine message?I have a ZT Systems Core i7 PC with Win7 Home Premium 64-bit. It's about a year, but recently, when I came out of hibernation, a window appears saying that Windows is not genuine. When I close and re - enter my ID in the Properties window, it checks and says that the activation is successful. Why this message keep appearing from time to time and how do I get rid of him? Thank you!
A product id is not a product key. your product key is on your COA attached to your computer. (if your laptop, it may be in the battery compartment).
MGA Diagnostic Report:
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the diagnostic report produced by the MGADiag tool (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once downloaded, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, after a short time, continue button will change to a copy button.
Click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this stage) and then paste (with r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your message. (please do not change the report.)
Please indicate the version and edition of windows from your COA. do not specify the product key from the COA.
One issue per thread:
Activation and Validation issues more look the same on the surface, but can have many different causes and bugs. This is why we ask a diagnostic report and it is also why we are asking that you create your own thread for your question (in other words, do not post your question in another thread).
It is simply too complicated to try to resolve the multiple problems in the same thread.

I have improved the previous version of firefox to the new firefox v.4 and now all the shortcut icons I used with the previous version display a pop-up dialog box that says that windows does not find this website, check the spelling - address - etc. But immediately after this window opens the Web site loads. I tried to load the original site, delete the old shortcut and drag the new shortcut to my desktop, but Firefox always gives me the same message.

My pc says that windows does not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM. It is said it can be repaired by using the original installation CD, but we do not have. Any ideas please?
The file is missing or corrupt is one of your files in the system registry.
By far, the best way to recover from this is to go to another computer and create a free Hirens Boot CD.
Download Hirens: <> http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/ > (link at the bottom of the icon of the disk)
Hirens CD burning <> http://www.hirensbootcd.org/burning/ >Once you create the CD, and then start your system of problem with this CD. In the first window, select "Mini Windows XP" and wait for the system to start. When it starts, go to the Hirens Boot CD menu and select
Register-> Registry Restore Wizard.
then follow the prompts. This wizard will return a copy of your registry database from backups that are stored with your system restore points. After the restoration, stop, remove the CD and restart. When you start your system, it is recommended to perform a system restore operation to ensure the consistency of your system
"How to restore Windows XP to a previous state"
<>http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/306084 >Also, this error is almost always accompanied, if not caused, the corruption of the file system. Also a good idea to perform a check disk (chkdsk) operation with the option "repair".
"How to perform disk error in Windows XP check"
<>http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315265 >The hard way to get back is covered in the following Microsoft KB article, but if you have installed a large number of service packs for your installation of XP, I don't give you many chances to get past part 1. (And there's also an installation CD to access the Recovery Console)

I'm sorry, but you have not answered my questions.
(1) on the last stage Setup lets you start Firefox, if you keep all of the checkbox "Launch Firefox now", turns on Firefox when you click on "Finish"?
(2) how did you launch Firefox when you receive the error message? How do you 'by clicking on the freshly installed target Firefox.exe?
(3) what is the exact error message? (Post a screenshot if you cannot re-type precisely). Text you have posted it lacks an ending quotation mark and does not resemble any message I know.

Windows does not remember the setting.
When I try to connect to the net on my laptop LG I often get the message saying that windows could not connect and I have to go into the advanced settings and check the box that says allow windows to configure the network. My problem is that windows doesn't remember this setting and that I need to check the box almost everytime I try to connect. He made it with my desktop so I was wondering if anyone has a solution for this.Using a wireless router? What is the brand and model of your router? I don't think it's a matter of windows.
