PC is dead, new Mac, register again?

A year ago, I joined the service of PDF export. Since then my HP PC died and I replaced it with a Mac. So I think I should stop my current subscription and register again with my new Mac?

Hi , DavidTurpin,

Export to PDF is an online service, you must not re-register your subscription.

You can use this link to start working on your MAC: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf

Kind regards

  • Putting swap on the road of new Mac Pro

Last week, I installed a pretty new EVO 850 500 GB SSD Samsung cloned successfully man requiring 320 startup disk to it.

As you can imagine, for the past week, I've been myself patting on the back, bragging to my friends and usually insult to the speed of light by Early 2008 Mac Pro 3.1 now working at.

It's seriously that quickly now, that I fear he will soon realize it's very own form of consciousness and maybe try to destroy the planet or something.

A week on however I wake up to the news that Apple will release their new OS Sierra, so excited, I rushed to know more.

Hhhuuummm, is not compatible with Mac Pros more than 2010.

Now having been a Mac owner and user since the first Macintosh, I am quite aware that if Apple is no longer supported your machine with a BONE, the end is near. Pretty overwhelming after only a week ago, he rose to the status of demigod.

Thus, faced with the imminent disappearance of my 3.1 and unable to splash the ridiculous $11, 000AUD wanting by Apple for a new, same spec'd Mac Pro, I have to look maybe a 2012 second hand model or similar.

My question is this. Can I just remove the new Samsung SDD and older Classic readers of my old 3.1 and jump in the bays of a new 5.1 and expect it to work?

While I'm confident enough that older readers won't be a problem, it's the Start Up disc (with the El Capitan on it) bothers me. Is the disk drive Start Up inseparably linked to my old 3.1 and unable to start a more recent machine unless I have format and start again?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

You 'Da Man' Troy, you 'Da Man '... I went through what you've been through as well. Had a Quad core of 2008 that was not serious, but is not a measure quite, so went with a 12 core opportunity pro mac, which, although the phenomena up a little bit on the handles (shipping container was ugly) now works correctly. First, back up your stuff. That is true with any computer-back it upward. Hard drives can and fail, usually without much warning.  Secondly, what you propose should work. The startup disk is not inseparably and absolutely linked to your old 3.1 at all. I'm sure that you have activated the TRIM and do all that. I see no reason why it wouldn't work. That's what I did with my replacement hard drive, only it popped in my recent Mac pro. The only difference is that the sleds by car are somewhat Pluss, and so it will not work in the other. All you need is a Phillips screwdriver, screws don't go, so when you're ready, undo the readers from the old machine, attach them to the new drive sleds and drag em in (by making sure, of course, that they are the correct way around). Assuming that there is a player any of your recent mac pro, you might be able to use Internet recovery * or make some kind of bootable Setup program and put it on a dvd or a USB key. Snow Leopard (10.6.8 I think) will allow you to get at least to the App store, and from there, you can install El Capitan. After you back up your stuff, you can use Migration Wizard and Time Machine, which are integrated into the operating system, to transfer your stuff on and off re - authorize your new Mac (and off allowing the old a) to use the iTunes store and all that, you should be good to go, and more if you want, you can put a blu ray in your new mac (you may have to the Scout for the software to play blu - ray even if - this feature is not built in)

hope this helps you - I think I paid about $4 322 Canadian with a monitor, and oddly enough, the guy I bought it second hand me that it probably came from Australia...

    * you will need to connect an Ethernet cable to the back of your Mac pro for this... A Wi - Fi connection is not cut it... too slow and capricious

  • New Mac GarageBand

    Hello

I recently bought a new Macbook Pro that came with a full version of Garageband. However, I restored a backup of my old Mac to the new and now the new version of Garageband is missing and replaced with my old version. I tried to update on the app store, but it says I have to pay for it. Is there a way to get the new version without paying?

    Thank you!

If you register in the Mac App Store with the same Apple ID, you used to install the new Mac, you should be able to go to the section of the Mac App Store purchases and download GB or it should be listed as an update under the section updated

  • To a new Mac to iCloud photo library

I bought a new Mac and you want to migrate my iCloud photo library to the new machine. Currently, I have all my photos stored on my old mac and plan to move the library of photos of the new machine.

I have 650 GB of photos, so I don't want you must synchronize all the photos again to iCloud. Is there a safe way to migrate my photos for the new iMac?

The best way is to connect the systems or use a DHM in mac OS extended (journaled) format and drag the photo library intact as a single entity of the original system in the new system images folder and then launch the Photos on the new system

The new Mac will say it's download to ICPL but it I actually just make sure everything is in sync - it takes time, but less than a download

  • can I use assistant migration to move the content of mac to new mac 10.11.1 10.6.8

Can I use Migration Assistant to transfer content from my old Mac running OS 10.6.8 again Mac running OS 10.11.1?  I hesitate to try to update the old Mac to El Capitan 10.11.1 before using the Migration Wizard because of concerns I've heard with the photos being lost or messed up due to the change of iPhoto to Photos. In addition, I'm afraid to have enough memory to update. My old Mac a 2.4 GHz Intel Core Duo with 4 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, 319.73 Go hard with 15,43 GB available. Thank you.

Looking at the specifications of your computer, I would say that your RAM is officially agree but weak.  In my view, 10.11 requires 4GB but minimum would be better with 6 +. Your disk space becomes low for any use of the modern computer.  I have it would not get any lower than Similarly if you stick to 10.6, and you may need more to actually perform an upgrade.

  • MAC Pro tower to new MAC Pro upgrade

Currently, I have a MAC Pro Tower and will be upgraded for the new MAC Pro, probably within 6 months.

At the present time, I have 1 HD SSD (with programs and the OS on it) and 3 hard drives regularly in-house.  One of the internal HD contains the data of my programs, while the other two are used for backups, etc.

    Here are my questions:

I plan to go with the 256 GB SSD drive in the new MAC Pro, but my question is can I get another internal HD (SSD, or other) to store my data?

I plan on the withdrawal of the other HD and their use for external storage, should I do access these drives with the new MAC Pro?

I currently have 3 external HD used to store photos and movies, I'm going to him again able to use with the new MAC Pro?

I have speakers external, purchased from the Apple Store, they will work with the new MAC Pro?

I have several printers, a scanner and on my current MAC Pro Tower, they will work on the new MAC Pro?

I would just move the stuff of my current MAC Pro Tour (programs, operating system, data) for the new MAC Pro, this is something Apple can do for me?

Needless to say, I am grateful for any help I can get in that case.

    Thank you.

1 - 2013 cylinder Mac Pro can have only a single storage device internal. Cannot add another.

I would opt for the 500 GB one.

2 - Likley Yes but yo don't say how they are related to the tour D'Argent. The 2013 has four USB 3 and 6 ports Thunderbolt Mac you can get a bolt of lightning > adopter FireWire

    3 see # 2

4 - Yes the speaker, if the USB or 3.5 mm will work

5 - the printer and scanner will work if there are drivers that are supported on El Capitan. You have not specified the OSX version on your silver tower

    6. I've heard rumors that you will now pay Apple to move information to a new system, but you should check. You can do it yourself. It is not difficult. See:

  • guide the migration to a new Mac Adobe CC 2015

After reading everything and everywhere. It would be nice if there was a guide 'full' Adobe move to a new Mac (OS10.11.3) CC (probably good for a guy from the window, too), including clouds, apps, library, maybe photo galleries, etc.

OK, I got it, you can not migrate Adobe...  Wonderful.

Do you have an only - allow CC, uninstall, both, or something else?

But when you do a "migration Assistant" you can't choose what applications to transfer and which ones who don't not to transfer. If you could you would get any anyway.. except plists, App Support, preferences, etc.

So when it says you need to 'install' the apps CC, which means to install ABOVE what has been migrated? or just reactivate what has been migrated?

And, if you please. Let someone know the result of the action... Great!, Just OK, or it's a list of what to do after the migration to get all your apps CC, etc operational return.

I would like to know before migration, a bit tells me how much time I have to leave before you start the next project (CC).

Normally with Mac. This is 'drop dead easy', follow your nose... Is equivalent to CC?

    Thanks, Ron

OK, here is what I did... first, trash migration wizard. Back up your old Mac using the carbon copy. Connect this player you new machine. Download all the cc apps that you use from Adobe. Then use backup to recreate the supporting documents. Reauthorize cc... (just start using them to start the activation process.  And all this works pretty well.

Time to get all upward and running depends on all the time it takes to download adobe applications and you get addicted docs at the course.

You can still run the Adobe applications on your old machine under the 30 day trial if if you need something from them, you may not otherwise... As supporting URL, name of user, password, etc for websites Web of DW.

    Good luck..

BTW... Ironically, the woman was similar (not associated with Adobe) problem move his pc. Using pcmover, but that's another story.

  • No Apps tab / empty House food in a creative cloud on the new Mac Pro

I just set up a new Mac Pro at work and installed the creative and signed cloud application, but there is no tab apps and my house is empty, displays a button that says 'Install Adobe Apps' which does nothing when you press.

This new Mac Pro came with creative cloud apps installed from my tech team (we have a broad account University they set up with). The applications work correctly, but I would like to be able to keep everything up to date with the creative application of cloud. I have my own ID for creative cloud that works fine on my home computer and my old work computer, but it does everything just not on this new computer, even if I took out my old work computer. I see a lot of messages online on this matter on the windows computer (look they can delete the OOBE to fix), but I do not have these same files on mac.

Anyone know what I can do to get the application to work as he does at home and on my old computer to work where I can see, install, uninstall and update all my apps?

I opened a discussion with Adobe and was able to solve the problem. Please see the transcript below:

Sansan: I understand that you have no Apps tab on your creative Application of clouds, what it is that correct?

Brandon Schuk: I tried to solve it through the forum, but the staff and myself were not able to understand.

Brandon Schuk: That is right. I see solutions in the forum but nothing helps with Mac.

Brandon Schuk: Everything works fine on my old machine and on my machine at home, it's just this new Mac Pro, which is having the problem. Everything is disconnected on the old machine, so this should be my second computer.

Brandon Schuk: My computer at home and this one.

Sansan: thank you for the information, I'll be happy to help you with this.

Sansan: Click on finder and then simultaneously press shift + command + G keys. That you will get the go to dialog box.

Sansan: To go to the dialog box, type "~ / library '(without quotes) and click on Go."

    Brandon Schuk: it

Sansan: Then open the folders > Application support > Adobe.

    Brandon Schuk: Okay

Sansan: From there you can remove folders OOBE and AAMupdater.

    Brandon Schuk: deleted

Sansan: Open the dialog folder to once again by clicking Finder > "shift-command-G" on your keyboard.

Sansan: To go to the dialog box, type "/ library '(without quotes) and click on Go."

Sansan: Then open the folders > Application support > Adobe.

Sansan: From there, remove the OOBE and Adobeapplicationmanager folders.

    Brandon Schuk: Got it

Sansan: Have you been able to remove it?

    Brandon Schuk: Yes

Sansan: Now back to the Utilities folder and trash: cloud Adobe Creative and files of Adobe application manager.

    Brandon Schuk: File utilities?

    Brandon Schuk: Oh, I see.

    Sansan: Okay.

Brandon Schuk: Wasn't expecting to be there

Brandon Schuk: Resembles a certain applications listed

    Brandon Schuk: Clean all?

Sansan: Please let me know the first two option you get?

Brandon Schuk: Adobe Application Manager for Mac OSX 10.6 and CC Adobe Extension Manager

Sansan: If please select the first and click on selected cleaning.

    Brandon Schuk: fact

    Sansan: Close the application now.

    Brandon Schuk: closed

Sansan: Download Adobe Application Manager from the link above.

Brandon Schuk: Downloaded and appear to be installed.

Brandon Schuk: He says "update" for awhile and then disappeared.

Sansan: since the utilities > Adobe application manager > Core > launch PDApp.

    Sansan: I know the status?

Brandon Schuk: He's almost done--until the progress bar.

    Sansan: Okay.

Brandon Schuk: He recently completed and the desktop application creative cloud dropped down

    Sansan: Please log in.

Brandon Schuk: I am, and I now see the applications tab.

Sansan: Super! Then, the problem is resolved.

Brandon Schuk: Thanks a lot for your help
