  • Computer running much slower after a Windows Update.

    Windows Update problem

This morning, I shut down my computer and installed the updates at the same time. When I switched back on it, he says that he has set up updates. He got 15% and then closes, rebooted and configured updates as usual. However, my computer runs much slower than usual. Any idea on how I can fix this? Thank you very much.

Check your hard drive for errors:

    Click Start

Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD

    Click on "Run as Administrator"

At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    also:

    Click Start
Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
At the command prompt, type: sfc/scannow

This will check for any breach of integrity

    Restart your system

  • Some games run very slow on Windows 8, as...

Some games run very slow on Windows 8 as (chicken Invasion "v1, v2, v3" in red alert 2, Age of Empire 2)
but on Windows 7 on the same Machine perform perfectly, I tried to install DirectX,.
and tried to install the latest Version of the Driver VGA for Windows8 and tried to change VGA (Nvidia, AMD, Intel)
but the games (not all games just a few) still running slow...? !!!
    Help, please...

    Wrong, wrong, wrong.

This is entirely based on compatibility to a level beyond what is offered in the standard "Windows compatibility" section.  In addition to this, everything you said had absolutely nothing to do with the question.  This has nothing to do with starting or whatever it is in the same direction.

What is happening is that something is interfering with the normal functioning of the game because of changes in the kernel of the operating system because it has been updated / rewritten since the inception of Windows XP.

    @SOVIETTION
The most likely solution for you has nothing to do with the videobuffer here is how fix you it:

Find the Red Alert installation directory and find the file * md.ini.
In revenge for Red Alert 2/Yuri, it will be 'RA2MD. INI"(feel free to make a backup of the file before proceeding)
Open it with your favorite text editor (Notepad for most people)
Scroll down until you find the section [Video]
Just below you will add this line-
    VideoBackBuffer = no
Save the file in the same place and load the game.

    Enjoy!

The VideoBackBuffer = none works perfectly, but in my case I also had to set the compatibility mode to Windows XP SP2.

    Bravo for you!

  • My windows 8.1 is running very slow and freezes from time to time.

My windows 8.1 is running very slow and freezes from time to time. So I ran sfc/scannow. It finds corrupted files, but could not correct. So I ran "dism / online/cleanup-image /restorehealth ' but there as well. Please help as soon as possible. Thank you!!!

Original title: find files corrupt after sfc/scannow and could not repair

    Hello Akash,

    Thanks for the reply.

As you said, after completing the scan found SFC, you get an error message indicating that there is corruption but was not repaired. Then, please follow the following suggestions to solve the problem.

Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files

(Refer to: manually replace the corrupted file with a good copy of the file)

  • Dreamweaver cc 2014 running extremely slow

Dreamweaver CC 2014 is running extremely slow - with essentially no response (using the split or any other mode mode). My version of CC works perfectly - fast and clean. I have not changed anything - I have to install the new 2014 CC and tried and it doesn't fundamentally. What is going on? I have an iMac 2012 - updated my OS a lot of RAM, etc. I have a lot of open fonts, but this has never done other programs - just wondering if perhaps behind the scenes its reading of all this stuff (why would it?).

    Thanks Preran.

My external drives (nine in total) were originally of course DreamWeaver 2014 to a problem of 'mapping' of readers. However, by connecting the USB drives first, restarting and opening DreamWeaver 2014 once again, it worked as expected. Add two additional discs to high speed and restart again, all mounted drives and checking dreamweaver acted as it should and it behaved as it should.

    That solved my problem.

    Thank you

    Greg

  • Why Muse runs incredibly slow?

Muse is incredibly slow... I'm working on a very simple site... the file is only 9.3 MB. No idea why it runs so slow? I use a trial version of Muse because I want to see how it behaves and if she could be a good purchase for me, but if it runs it slow I don't know if I want to buy it...

    Specifications of the computer:

    16 GB of ram

    CPU AMD Phenom II X 6 1090 t. (3.20 GHz)

    Windows 7 Ultimate

I'm not really a player... I does not play well some Starcraft. One of my friends helped me to build myself a computer.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I checked for malware. There were about a quarter of an inch of dust on the heatsink that was on my processor so after I removed which helped A LOT. The Muse is still wobbly, so I just rebuilt from zero and no problems so far. He must have gotten corrupted somehow.

  • Computer running very slow for macOS

Since I've upgraded to Mac OS this morning, my computer barely works.  I frequently get beach balls, and even simple tasks take minutes where they used to take seconds.

It's an iMac of 2011 with 4 GB of memory.

    Difficulty installing Sierra

Try each of them in order. A test to see if the computer works properly:

    1. Reset the PRAM
    2. Reset the controller (SMC) system management
    3. Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart normally. It's slower than a standard home.
    4. Repair the disk by booting to the HD recovery immediately after that the chime press the command and R keys until the Utility Menu appears. Choose disk utility and click on the continue button. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) volume entry in the list to one side.  Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait the fact button appear. Disk utility and return in the Utility Menu. Restart the computer from the Apple Menu.
    5. Reinstall OS X by booting from the Recovery HD using the command and R keys. When the Utility Menu appears, select reinstall OS X and then click on the continue button.
