  • iPad 2 running very slow and freezing

My iPad2 worked very slow and freezing.  It is quite frustrating and I hope someone has a tip or a solution for my problem.  I've updated my ios and right now I'm in ios 9.3

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • After recovering the Satellite L300 is slower and freezes

    Hello

I just restored my 1DN back to factory settings L300 - but now I find that my computer is very slow and freezes for 1 second about every seconds frew. Certainly, it does not perform as it did before you restore the factory settings. For example videos etc. freeze every few seconds and do not play smoothly as they did.

No idea why this is and if she has nothing to do with the restoration of factory settings? And how can I solve this problem?

    Thank you

    Hello

After the laptop recovery procedure is certainly not up-to-date and I imagine that many Microsoft updates will be downloaded and installed. If you use the factory settings it is on automatic and several hours or maybe two updates will be downloaded and installed.

While the installation of updates that I can imagine that the notebook is quite slow and you'll be noticed freezing or stopped video playback.

Before you start using your laptop, install all updates and optimize the operating system preinstalled. Typical result of the new installation of the OS's slow start.

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using the methods above
It is preferable to ensure that the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.

    Original title: borlndmm.dat

    Hello, Cyrille,.

This could be caused due to viruses or malware on the computer.

    Follow the following troubleshooting methods:

    Method 1:

Download Microsoft Safety Scanner, scan your computer for viruses and malware and then check its operation.

You can download Microsoft Safety Scanner from the link "scan to Microsoft Security.

Note:  The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again. All data that are infected must be cleaned only by deleting all of the data, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Method 2:

Run System File Check to fix the corrupted system files and then check how it works.

See the link "How to use the file system tool Checker to troubleshoot system missing or damaged files on Windows Vista or Windows 7" to run the System File Check.

Note: It can ask the Windows DVD difficulty and allowing SFC to do more than minor repairs. Could some of the files saved on your computer are deleted when fixing corrupted files.

I hope this helps you solve the problem. If the problem persists or if you have other problems with Windows, please post in the Microsoft Community. We would be happy to help you.

    Click on "Run as Administrator"

At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f /r

When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    also:

Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"

My computer is very slow and takes a long time to connect and disconnect. Sometimes I hit Logoff button and do not forget I have more work to do... is it possible to cancel the newspaper once it starts, or should I just wait what he log out completely and then reconnect? (It takes just forever)

  • El Capitan slow and freezes.

    Hello

Since Friday, June 3 of this year my iMac has been regularly making slower with the spinning beachball showing when I open an application and when playing iTunes, YouTube, Vimeo, VLC etc the system just freezes then starts again normally. I ran Intego Internet Security, run CleanMy Mac but also run the same Washing Machine, Intgeo reinstalled El Capitan, but its still slow and freezes. Also, the activity running monitor did not throw all the problems.

No software has been downloaded or installed until this happened, just from appeared Friday and has gradually deteriorated since.  I bought the iMac in 2012 and its been a joy full every day since then. Even that by typing the text in the screen freezes then the rest of the sentence make it up a few seconds later. Also scroll, left and right mouse click can take up to 25 seconds to work, even if the mouse works no problem, if that's any help.

    My system is:

    iMac 27 inches (mid 2011)

    3.1 Ghz Inel Core i5

16 GB at 1333 Mhz RAM

    1 TB HHD

OS X Version of El Capitan 10.11.5

Any assistance here for me would be really appreciated.

First of all, get rid of all the software Intego and CleanMyMac.  They are not necessary and can only add to the problem of slow system and applications.  Do a Google search to find the developer instructions to uninstall.

Also download and run Etrecheck.  Copy and paste the results in your response. Etrecheck is a diagnostic tool that has been developed by one of the most respected users here (and recommended by Apple's Support personnel) of the CSA to provide a snapshot of the system and help identify the most obvious culprits that can adversely affect the performance of a Mac.

Hello Probably a stupid question but I have two versions of Firefox on my system at the same time? The reason is add-ons that are not compatible with v4. I wish I could close v4 when I need to use an Add On v3. Thank you.
