• Why is today so SLOW Muse and glitch?

  Hey guys... I you LOVE Muse, however, in the last two months, he has been INCREDIBLY slow and glitch. Any Web site that I opened, five pages or 50 pages (or even a whole new website empty with nothing on it), Muse is STILL so slow, taking up to 3 seconds to respond to a command or a simple click.  It seems to be the worst on the home screen 'Plan '.  I use several new machines with Intel quad core processor and range from 8 to 32G of RAM and installed pro graphics cards.   Photoshop, InDesign and even heavy Premier Pro apps running beautifully on all my machines.  For some reason, nothing seems to make smoother Muse.

  Is it just me, or it seems to get worse and worse (community)?  If the problem persists, such a great platform and concept will become completely useless as the speed and fluidity that designers and developers need to circulate.

  If everyone is struggling with a slow program, was there something that you do to solve this problem? I don't know that a reinstall would be useful since I've tested on several pro machines. I know that's also not the 'sites' I work with, as it's the same thing with a new file with only one or two simple pages.  IM so disgusted that I can handle only a few minutes in the tool until I have want to scream.

  Note also as a foot, I don't check all updates from Muse, Air versions, etc. are installed.

  Everyone starts from the assumption that all the others have their experience. If this was true in this case, there are literally hundreds of thousands of messages from other users of Muse here, explaining that they had the same experiences.

  Last month, I got a strange problem with my Firefox browser in certain situations. The question is only apparent when executing some 3D games (most often when I run Diablo III). Each time these games is loaded my Firefox browser works incredibly slow. This isn't a question of a connection problem or such, the loading speed is very good, but the actual clicks, bookmark clicks, entered keyboard etc take a few seconds to register.

  I tried Firefox running in failsafe mode which immediately makes the problem disappears. However, whenever I run it in normal mode the problem will be even if I disable all plugin and simple addon. I also tried to reinstall firefox and my addons and flash player times, the problem remains.

  For what it's worth, another browser, I installed is not the problem at all (despite the same some addons installed - I only have 3 of them).

  Someone has an idea what could be the problem? Is the failsafe mode inactivate the other thing the addons and plugins listed in the addon section?

  Four days ago, that I've updated my system to El Capitan v10.11.6. At first, he seemed to be well-developed, but after about 12 hours, it started to become really slow - and I don't speak incredibly slow. Almost all of the clicks or typing a letter takes forever.

  Dump to clean my mac it's crapware.

  Hello, I know it's an old computer, but it makes no sense as to why it is slow. When I got it, it was fast as lightning, now he struggles to keep Chrome and Photoshop open at the same time.   Grateul for any help you can give.  I searched the forums for advice and have tried several solutions but without success so far.

  I have a macbook pro, which is 3 1/2 years.  Used primarily for surfing the internet and word processing.  For the past 3 weeks, that it worked if slow, it is almost useless to try to use it at all.  All applications take a long time to load and even typing has a delayed response.  Safari crashes frequently.  As mentioned above, I searched the forums and followed the advice given for example using disk utility to repair disk and permissions of the drive (have been several attempts to realize that he has appeared to expire several times, but I came to the conclusion, with no improvement) / reboot in recovery mode / stop and hold shift/alt/cmd/delete etc..  Nothing I found so far has helped it's why I started a new thread asking for advice (I understand very well I'm not the first person to ask why my mac is slow!).

  Information that could help find a solution, a year or two ago I had to install sophos and tuneupmymac to access the e-mails from work.  I thought that the problem may be connected to either one of them so I uninstalled sophos, but I failed to uninstall tuneupmymac because advice online on the website of tuneupmymac do not appear to work (the option Uninstall does not appear where it is shown in the guide, and I can't find anywhere else), nor the advice I've seen elsewhere (when I type in the path to file to Library/preferences in ' ") go to the folder"it says not 'found').  The only other explanation I could think was that I could have picked up a virus from a memory stick friend used to transfer pictures about 4 weeks ago. The problems started shortly after, so it would make sense in terms of timing. Otherwise, I tried to complete the upgrade to El Capitan, as I thought that might help, but it can't seem to finish right now (probably because of issues that make my mac to run slowly).

  Am at a bit of a loss if it's a last cry for help before considering in the store!  All opinions are appreciated.  If I missed the obvious information, apologies - I'm a total novice.  Provide any additional information that might help identify the problem.

  Please take each of the following steps that you have not already tried it. Stop when the problem is resolved.

  1. exit the application. Force quit if necessary.

  Why the update did slow my MacBook pro down so much? What could be in the last update of El Capitan to slow my Mid 2010 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Macbook Pro 2.66 down so much?   He has never run it slow before! Everything takes more time in all areas. Could I have made a mistake during the download and installation?  If so is it possible to force a re - install the latest update?

  I don't know if I can restore back after an update of this size. Everyone has similar problems or have thoughts on what could be wrong? I know it's far from being a State of the art Macbook Pro. But it was working fine before the update.

  Any thoughts would be really appreciated. I can't afford to buy anything newer right now.

• Why is it so slow FPGA?

  Hi, I am fairly new to real-time and FPGA programming.  I read a lot about speed problems, such as some modules slows the rest unless you use their own lines, and using fifo to move data more quickly.

  But for now, I'm just a simple reading and a simple LED control.  If you look at my code that I have attached, you will see the readings in a loop and the LED control in its own loop.  I have the LED just turn every 1/2 second. (The counties of ticks are set to mSec, 8 bit)  But when the code is running on my FPGA, the LED flashes only every other 12.5 seconds.  It's basically 25 times slower than expected.

  I also have a counter tick sending its value to my code in real time, which also has its own meter of ticks, and both are to get connected.  When I look at the counter of the two side by side tick data, it shows time to counter tick in real-time is perfect, but the fpga tick counter time is way slower.  It ends up being 25 times slower.

  Why the FPGA reports that it runs so slow?  It's going slowly? Or is the meter tick does not properly? I understand how it works?  Although there are more slow IO modules causing the fpga to run more slowly, the counters of the tick must still report the right to the exact time?

  What is possibly sense as to why I get this behavior?

  In view of these figures, I think what have seen you, it is correct. Assuming a 40 MHz clock, the calculation is:

  500 Mticks / 40 Mticks/s = 12.5 sec.

  The 32-bit parameter does not affect the behavior of timing, he controls just what tick counter height can go without flipping.

  Why is it so slow? This was my first purchase of laptop in 4 years and I think the NEW Lenovo is slower than my last (an hp computer that cost $300). I got this x140e recommended by a computer scientist at my college, after the death of my old laptop in a flood. so why this computer costs $500 if she is so slow? and what I can do to fix this? is there something or am I stuck with a computer that takes 10 seconds to switch between the tabs? and I've been to 3 separate internet connections, who had the same result, super slow X140e. I'm doing something wrong?

  I had the same problem. The problem is that the system of stock only comes with 2 GB of RAM, and integrated graphics subsystem takes 512 MB off for video application. If you have only 1.5 GB free memory left!

  Since the X140E has two memory slots, I added 4 GB of RAM so I with the existing 2 GB 6 GB total. Now the machine is much more responsive and faster. I am running Windows 7 64 bit and it is not nearly as slow more.

  Check the Task Manager, I can see the average BONE needs from 1.7 to 2 GB of RAM for light loads and > 2 GB for heavy loads. So the 1.5 GB available in a stock system is not enough RAM to all!

  If yours has only 2 GB I would add a little more. I really think that the X140E should come with 4 GB as a default, because performance is hampered with 2 GB. I can say in my situation as adding RAM helped.
