Its been almost 6 months that my last cleaning never use any liberal or paste and I've never had any problems. But of course you are right. If so, please use it. I didn't because I didn't and was too lazy to come out especially for it: D so I just proceeded without her.

  • USB ports stopped working unexpectedly

Hi, I am currently on "Toshiba Satellite C655"run"Windows 7 Home Premium". It's a laptop of 2009 model (2 GB). Last night (24/02/14) my USB Ports stopped working, they have been and continue to read anything every time I have to plug my devices. I usually only connect a cooling block and a USB mouse to the computer. They worked perfectly until I disconnected the. When I reconnect them, they work momentarily, and then I hear the beep sounds when you eject a device. I tried to connect several flashdrives, a printer, and one I tried the following hotfixes:

Note: The order of numbering has nothing to do with the order, I tried to apply each patch unless specified elsewhere. This computer had Windows 7 Home Premium REINSTALLED at some point. Just for your information. This message was made when there are others with the same problem is due to the fact that no solution not specified by Microsoft Technical Support or the Microsoft community were effective.

    1) System Restore to the last known point, where they worked (and still). (Point restoration @ 15/02/24)

    2) Windows Update

    3) turn off the computer, disconnect the battery and the power supply and holding 'On' button for 10seconds.

(Note: whenever I turn on the computer now they work only for a moment, usually from 60 to 180 seconds.)

    (4) Start > research ' Device Manager '> "De Bus USB controllers" Expand and turn off and restart the computer. They are re - activate automatically but my problem persists.

    (5) download and run "Microsoft FixIt.WinUSB... ", on the 1st, I had a problem with devices not updated. But I actually watch updates by using Windows Update and ""searching for hardware changes "" on USB Bus controllers "." I then did a 'System Restore' and now Microsoft FixIt found no problem but the USB Ports don't always work.

    (6) will ' services.msc"and change the Startup Type of Manual to Automatic for Windows install and restart Windows."

    7) regedit

    8) sfc/scannow

I am really lost with this problem now. My laptop works and worked perfectly fine until this problem occurred. I have fixed minor problems with computers before, but this is a bad joke for me now. If someone could please help me with this problem I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your help, but I discovered something funny on my computer. My cooling package (product name: Laptop Cooling Pad NSB;) HYCF-6181-2 model number) is to disable my USB ports when I plug. If I leave it unplugged and restart my computer, my USB mouse is still working on a port. Also tried using my USB and other devices. The problem is my block of cooling that strangely disables my USB ports, whenever I plug. Thank you very much for your quick response, fortunately the answer might help me in the future. For now, I have solved my problem.

Treat it as I turn on the laptop and its still the boot stops down unexpectedly without an error message.
This happens almost every time 2nd, I try to start the laptop.

I know this isn't a lot of information but I don't have any newspapers, or something that I can help you.
    Concerning

You are right. There isn't a lot of information on this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is.
What is your laptop preinstalled with original OS that you got with it? I presume that the only change is upgrade SSD, right?

OK it looks like as the time to copy this section of the FAQ: (posted in a place not yet public ~ ~ ~ Hey Jordan? is still FAQ on the right way?)

    "

In this topic, we will discuss some of the common problems that have been observed using devices with LabVIEW on Windows operating systems.  Many of these points apply also in other environments, but the examples will use the Windows 7 operating system.

FAQ 1: USB device stops working unexpectedly.

The first thing to look at is the OS power save options.  There is a global trend towards "Green" electronic development and energy the coast to stars become fairly common.  "If his is used not to turn it off" is not new.  Cave men learned how to Bank a fire in order to preserve the energy that would otherwise be wasted.  Similarly, the Windows operating system has an energy saving function to stop power to the USB hubs when no user activity is present.  In automated systems, this feature can cause problems since remove power USB hub will stop the USB device.   Solution: use Device Manager to change the Power Options USB hub.

FAQ2: I put the power options and my device connection is still not reliable: Don't forget, the USB ports on the computer are often the least expensive that can be mounted on the chassis and system share the PC power supply USB-powered. Most of the uses of USB are temporary connections such as a USB key or a camera.  These connections don't require high reliability because there the user interacts with it.  Mounted sudden power and fault tolerance at worst cause the operator to retry the transfer of data.  Automated systems require a bit more robustness.  Solutions:

    1) ALWAYS use a free external powered hub. Perform your due diligence genius and to inspect devices specifications too - if you do not find them for this device which should clue pick you a product from a vendor who published their specifications.

    2) high noise environments require the use of ferrites on the USB cable- and do not buy the cheapest cable either! The good markets are poorly protected.

    3) PROTECT connections HUB-if you have a USB 2.0 device and Joe User plugs in a 1.0 device into an open slot, managed by the same hub-Bingo all ports on the rear hub can convert USB1.0.  WORSE, there are a lot of damaged or marginally engineered USB devices out there.  Joe User should cause power fluctuations when it is inserted or removed from the hub just don't let it happen!

FAQ3: I test USB devices and the operating system can not find more.

It is a Plug-and-Play feature that deserves exposure.  When you connect a device P - n - P BONE remembers his serial number in an entry in HKEY registry (hive-Key).  This is useful when (for example), you want a specific instrument, say a NOR-USB-6008, to appear as a device DAQmx with VISA Alias "MyDAQ1" whenever it is plugged.  On the other hand, if you want to test a range of USB-serial converters that can be problematic because the pilot of P-n-P will mount the first serial number like "COM3" and the other as "COM4" Add infinitum until the controller of the enumerator in the registry and the VISA recognized alias adjust upward.  Solution: use the Windows registry API and the API of hardware in LabVIEW to clear unused VISA alias and HKEY entered.   Speak with your professional COMPUTING staff structure HKEY and possible side effects before developing a plan to modify registry entries.

  • Computer stops when the power to the computer to sleep, on computer virus problem

    Hello

When I put my pc sleep and wake him up, a window pops up saying that the machine has stopped unexpectedly, and then the pc automatically reboots by itself,.

after reboot, a window box comes in saying that the pc rebooted one... and that Windows will inform me what to do.  What happened yesterday and today.

I must say however that Friday evening, August 24, my pc was slow work, since a few days I noticed, but Friday it was slower, I could see that something

moving in often via the little blue wheel icon that shows that something is happening.

I "had" McAfee Total Protection in my machine since 08/05/2012 and last night I clicked on the McAfee to do a full Scan of my pc, because I thought there was something fishy in it.  McAfee Full Scan clicked, a blue page with white letters arrived, quick and deep that I saw Dump numbers going up to 100, then the blue screen came out and restarted my PC.  After reboot a small box of Windows came to say that the machine had stop unexpectedly, he

has run a control bar, when in fact something like 'your stop machine unexpectedly and windows will inform you what to do', something like that.  I then

new click the McAfee icon, click the full sweep, the same thing happens again anywhere.

Then, I went to the website of McAfee and talkative with Technical Support, he came into my pc to see for himself, he opened the Navigation button and had IP

address to which McAfee was 'downtime '.  He told me I had a virus in my computer... He gave me a phone # to call for assistance in the removal of the virus. I called, the man

did not come into my PC to see, he said, I had to pay $89. something taken him. I closed with him, went with the customer, aksed for my refund...

sad situation, but I withdrew my PC with McAfee.

I've downloaded Malwarebytes, checked my PC had 2 Trojan horses, you click on Remove to remove the.  Still had Malwarebytes in pc, I went to Trend Micro, which I had before in my pc for years and renewed my Sub. with them and has installed. After doing a full Scan, no virus.

I made a 'machine checking if' work properly AM early this morning.

This afternoon, August 25. I opened my pc, the audit began, time + after pc restarted normally, then all of a sudden the blue window came with white letters, dump numbers went up to 100 then pc rebooted, Windows little box came "... unexpected" and normal ran pc after.  Worked a bit on the pc then place to sleep so I could go somewhere, when I clicked on the mouse to wake up, as I always do in the pc, it awakened, blue page with while that the lettering came, took place on the same things as above.  PC ran good, had to go eat, put the pc to sleep, came back same thing occurred again

I searched what happens and found nothing.  I went to the community, there nothing either.  So I'm here today to help hoping that you know what is happening.

Thank you for your time and your help.

    Hello

Currently, you have a program full-time antivirus installed on the computer?

If you do not have one, I suggest you to install Microsoft Security Essentials.  Follow this link to download.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/products/security-essentials

    Follow these methods.

Method 1: Run a Scanner online from Microsoft.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx
Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.
The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

Method 2: To remove the virus manually, see the article:

How to remove a computer virus?
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/how-do-I-remove-a-computer-virus

Important: The Troubleshooting Manual in the link above steps show you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support!

Also, you did a restart of the force and restored, and remains the same question. We appreciate certainly take you time out of your day to contact us about this, and I am sure that you are ready to get this resolved.

You mentioned that you have restored. You have restored to factory settings? If this isn't the case, let's go and save the data to your iPhone (if you haven't already done so) and restore settings to see if you get the same problem after that. Restore factory settings removes all added applications and software on the iPhone which could be causing a conflict.

  • Equium L300 shut downs suddenly because of overheating

This computer is 5 years old.
Original OS is Vista and I clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit...
I was improving the disk of 320 GB and 2 GB of Ram.

I opened two or three times to clean dust from the FAN.
It heats up so fast and so often that when I watch a video in full screen it stops itself.
When I touch under the touchpad area, he's almost hurt to burn my fingers.

When I press the power button to turn on the computer, the fan starts at the same time.

is there a simple way to cool it fan and below the laptop? How to stop closing unexpected downs. ??

    > is there a simple way to cool it fan and below the laptop? How to stop the unexpected closure of downs?

How to stop? Of course, the internal temperature is too high and therefore the machine will stop.

Why the temperature is too high? Well, either the cooling modules may not cool properly the internals (CPU and GPU) or these parts (GPU and CPU) also produce a lot of heat.

    (1) cooling modules:
Where the dust and debris prevents fans spin faster, the temperature would increase and laptop would be closed. You must make sure cooling modules are free of dust and that fans can run with performance of Paris.
In the Windows power management settings, you can set the method of cooling performance. Optimized battery setting, the propeller would rotate more slowly, but it would increase the working time of battery.

    (2) you could decrease the performance of the processor. This can be done in Windows power management too. You can affect the performance of the CPU max 80-70%

Another solution: try to use some external cooling blocks. There are a lot of devices on the market that could cool the laptop from the underside.

  • Power supply does not work

    Hello

I have a few problems with my Toshiba/plug of the adapter. A few weeks ago that my adapter just stopped working - don't know why, he suddenly didn't work.
My MOM also has a Toshiba Satellite laptop, and our sheets are the same, then we could use hers.

However the other day, its power cable also stopped working unexpectedly. Out of curiosity, my father has replaced the fuse on his own and it worked fine, until today when he stops just again! It flickered on a second and then stopped.

We are not sure if it's the fuse again, but if it is someone there ideas why he continues to be?
Could this be a fault with our electro folk guitars?
I'm pretty useless with these things, so don't really have a clue. This is the engine we time mad - she got a lot of work to do on his laptop and he needs to take to work etc.

    Hello

On this path, it is not easy to say what may be the problem. Maybe the electronic power pack get in trouble, but only a detailed study can give you accurate answers. On this path we can only speculate what may be the problem.

It will also be interesting to know what models of laptops you have.
