PCoIP taken higher supported resolutions 3D?

I was wondering if the maximum resolution or the maximum number of monitors supported has increased with the Horizon 6.1 and 6.0 vSphere vGPU technology?  It still seems to view only 2 monitors resolution up to 1920 x 1200 in the pool properties, choosing PCoIP and 3D rendering engine.  We have some users with screens bigger and resolution 2560 x 1440.

Yes, it's a bit confused as who work pieces together and which are not.  I'll explain how I understand them, but I hope that others with more knowledge on the subject will intervene.

It seems that you are using a VM 11 worm, because you can assign all the way up to 2048 VRAM.  To begin with, so you have the computer configured to vSGA and vGPU virtual.  Although this configuration works technically it wastes resources and a virtual approach to GPU must be used.  So if you want vSGA then delete it 'shared PCI device' which is the part of vGPU.  When you check the box 'Enable 3D support' will allow vSGA mode.  You can then select the 3D rendering engine to be what you want.  If you want to allow your computer virtual runs on ESXi hosts that have a true GPU (which is supported for vSGA) and those who do not, then leaving the setting on "Automatic" is preferable.  However we usually switch 'Hardware' only because all our ESXi hosts have a true GPU in them (nVidia GRID K2).  VSGA VRAM is the setting "3D Memory".  If you had a version 9 or 10 VM she would allow only the 512MB max.  The "Total video memory" field is only for the virtual 2D video card configurations and used when only 2D VMware vga standard adapter is used.  When you use vSGA or vGPU I usually just put a small value between 5-50 MB.  You can reference another post I made on performance issues, we did experience when you use the new ver 11 VM vSGA-onlinehttps://communities.vmware.com/thread/506977 I did not reply on this thread, so I don't know if others see it in their applications or if its just us because something else is wrong.  We worked with this technology virtual gpu for several years so we don't think its a mistake on our side, but I'm sure something's going to be trouble finally if its for us to find our error or VMware find a bug.  Since we only use VM worm 9 or 10 until we can understand what is happening.

OK, so the vGPU section.  If you use the vGPU section then you don't need to check the "Enable 3D support" or one of the 3D video settings (because those who are strictly for vSGA).  Simply select the appropriate profile vGPU that you want to use and profiles set the VRAM, max monitors and the res monitor support.  You can check the fixing of the Tony referenced to view these settings.  This is automatically set when you use vGPU based on the profile you select.  Now those who are not hard limits... we use for example the profile k240Q with four monitors @1920 x 1080.  We did not have the 2 GB of VRAM, but wanted only four headrest monitor.  This was accomplished by setting virtual computer configuration settings in the settings area of VM.  However, please make sure that you stay within the buffer size of the profile vGPU VRAM for these alternative resolutions.  Also because we use one zero tera2 customer our monitor with 2560 x 1600 max count is only two, so we cannot use four monitors @2560 x 1600.  These configurations would require an office standard (like your client device) with the video card appropriate to display four monitors to this resolution and then use the client software to view to get these VM vGPU work configurations.

Kind regards

Nathan

    Hello!

My screen resolution is currently set at 1280 x 800, but I want it is a bit higher. I bought it used with Windows 7, so I'm having a little trouble with the drivers.

Any help or ideas? I have already installed the 1280 x 800 Intel Series 4, but still not get graph.

    Thanks in advance...

Unfortunately, the screen of the laptop doesn't support resolution 1280 x 800, it is a WXGA resolution screen. If you want a higher resolution screen, you can change either with a WXGA + or resolution LCD WSXGA +, but which will void the warranty. Or sell it and get another laptop with a higher screen resolution.

    Hello

The external screen resolution depends on the graphics card and the external monitor.
As far as I know the Intel graphics chip that is used in this laptop is capable of managing the max 2048 x 1536 at 32-bit resolution

2560 x 1440 appears to be too high

Is it possible to get a screen resolution higher than stock, or better with the color / contrast?

I was always annoyed how to wash the stock on my watched Toshiba screen. Recently the screen is cracked, so I figure now is the best time to look at the options.

Google gave me very little information so far. I checked prices on replacement of the screen, with the part about being 60 and part + service with an average of 120, but that most likely leaves me with the same or lower screen quality.

I hope to find something more suited to the movies / games and in 1600 x 900 if possible.

Indications as to where I should start my search?

    Hello

    > Is it possible to get a screen resolution higher than stock, or better with the color / contrast?
Yes, this should be possible since the graphics card should support a higher resolution.

The laptop supports display TFT 15.6 "(HD).
You certainly have the same screen size.

  • HP Pavilion e033tx-15 taken Maximum supported RAM

I intend to buy a 15-e033tx Pavilion. Main use would be for software development. Client and the server end development involving heavy stuff like Oracle 12 c and WebLogic.  Also for casual games and movies. I would be grateful if someone could answer the following questions. I tried the net but found no reliable answers.

    1. What is the maximum amount of memory supported? (he would support 12 GB?)

    2. I've seen complaints on issues related to the use of the features of ATI dedicated graphics. Are there any known issues?

A quick response would be much appreciated.

It can take 16 gigabytes of RAM. And I would not be inaccurate to say there has been no problem with switchable graphics. Many people have bad especially after a Windows 8.1 update. I think this is generally a problem of the user, since the switchable graphics use is slightly higher than the capacity of the average user.

  • Satellite M70-131 supports resolution 1920 x 1200

    Hello friends!

I have laptop Toshiba Satellite M70-131.
Recently I bought HP LP24645 wide screen TFT monitor.

Unfortunately, my Toshiba does not support the required resolution of 1920\1200. He has only 1600/1200. Monitor driver is installed. Video card driver is updated. But nothing for good.

Pls is there any meaning the BIOS update?
I know that it is an official recommendation of Toshiba support, but I would like to know for sure if she will not solve the problem because I am not advanced user and this must be done in the case that I need to seek assistance from qualified people.

    Hello

In your case, I recommend to check the user's manual if the 1920 x 1200 external resolution is supported by the graphics card.

    First check!

PS: updates the BIOS will not help you to get this resolution if it s not supported by the GPU and graphics driver

  • Qosmio G20: How to get the higher screen resolution on monitor external 22 "

I have a Qosmio G20 and today I bought a Samsung 226BW the external display. The Samsung has a max resolution / optimal 1680x1050px. The manual SAIS the laptop Toshiba supports a resolution of the external display up to 2048 x 1536...

I tried now all sorts of settings, but the highest resolution I get on the external monitor is 1440 x 900 (-even as the laptop).
1440 x 900 display 22 '' is not enough for serious photo editing;. It seems simply blur.

What I am doing wrong? I deeply appreciate answers/comments; because if 1440 x 900 is all I can get, I have to return to the external monitor to the store...

    If someone is so good!
    Espen.

    Hello

The available screen resolution depends on the graphics driver. You cannot choose the favorite one from the 1680 x 1050 resolution because it doesn t graphics card driver supports.

Perhaps an update of the graphics driver could help.

By the way; an inf file must be provided by the manufacturer of the monitor. You can install this file right-click and choosing install.

  • Acer 6935G: taken max supported capacity of the HARD drive?

    Hello

The original WD 320 GB died in my old Acer 6935 g, I bought WD7500BPKX 750 GB 7200 RPM 16 MB Cache SATA 6.0 GB / s 2.5 "(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822236561) for the replacement." But with this drive, the laptop started restarting after different periods of time. Question - is this ability to support? Googling the problem found that only 500 GB is taken in charge information. Maybe it is connected to the power consuming too, but I would just do not forget that the HARD disk controller is supported by this player.

    Thanks in advance

I can tell you that we shipped this system with 120 GB of hard drives of 320.

The system chipset is Chipset Mobile Intel® GM975/PM975 Express.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the system, this is all the information I have.

I don't see that we have tested all additional hard drives in the system.
