PDB GDP of hot pluggable power supply

Hello
We use a Server PowerEdge T420 equipped with a "Single, cable power supply, 550W, code 513871, SKU [450-18382] [450-18478], ID 1620" (Cable Power Supply 550W).
We recently bought a 'kit - Single, Hot-pluggable, 1100W, article number 450-ADZK PSU.
Unfortunately we can not use it because we need a 'map of Distribution of power' and 'interposer Board Power'.

    Hello

If you connect the adapter to the laptop of Toshiba power saver change consumption patterns. Maybe the power mode with a different setting in the a? Basic setupa?. Please check the cooling method and change it to lower the level.

But of course, the dust and debris could have a bad influence on fan behavior.

  • Satellite L300D-12u: power supply works not - is threre a guarantee?

    Hello.

Today, I was surfing the Internet when suddenly my laptop says, is no longer on electricity.
I touched the power supply and the connector that is immersed in the laptop was very hot (not the big case which becomes usually hot, only the connector).

I tried several times to make it work again to take a new start or cool connector, but it still does not work.

To make sure, that it is the question of food, I used the power supply of my mother, who is similar to mine, and then it worked.

So my question: do I have a warranty on my power supply?
I bought my laptop to 29.8.2008 in Germany and is a Satellite L300D - 12u.

Thank you for all the answers!

    Hello

Adapter is covered by warranty for laptop.
So if laptops warranty is still valid your adapter should be covered by the warranty as well.

  • Pavilion p7-1010: Corsair 500W power supply

I have a p7-1010, providing greater power needs because of a new graphics card, and I'll probably go with a Corsair 500W, based on several recommendations on this site.

The power supply being replaced is a REV Bestec ATX-250-12Z. D7R, which measures 140mm depth x Width 150 mm x 86.4 mm high.

Power supply Corsair CX500 is exactly the same measures, however, the direction of the fan is not the same.  The Bestec fan is on the back and blows air from the inside to the back.  The Corsair fan is represented at the top or at the bottom?

The Corsair CX500M is represented on Newegg.com as a measure of depth 150mm x 160 mm wide x 86.4 mm high.

I have two questions: 1) isn't that important on the fan?

    (2) or Corsair fit, even if the modular model is more than 10 mm wide?

    Thank you

    Hello

Corsair power supplies I know all blow them air at the back.  Evacuation of hot air inside the PC help with cooling.

The different dimensions will result in less space between the power supply and the optical drive.  The cables will be very tight, but if you have an empty additional optical Bay then you can stuff the extra lengths in the empty Bay.

  • Bad power supply?

HP A1150Y.  When I plug my power supply in my motherboard light at the back of the PSU goes off and nothing happens.  Ths would be something else than to a bad power supply.  I blew a video card one day while I was at work.  I came home and pc was switched off and could not turn it off.  Open upward and the fan had blown completely off the map.  Must have got too hot.  So are unable to turn it on and noticed the light spinning when I plugged it in.  All thoughts.

    Thank you

Bought the new power supply and problem solved, only to encounter another problem lol.  Thanks for the help, start a new post new problem.  Thanks again.

  • Does the HP 5500 - 24G - PoE + (JG541A) equipped with a power supply?

The documentation is not clear. I need to know if a redeemable only in hot power supply is supplied with the JG541A switch. Documentation, says 'must select Min 1 Power Supply'.

I guess there's one, but the image that HP has the back of the switch shows no power supply.

    Thank you!

When you configure the switch for purchase it is also a time to select the power supply.

  • Dead power supply HP Pavilion Slimline of s3750t

Dead bought a HP Paviliton Slimline s3750t in February - feeding six weeks later. No lights, no fan, nothing. Spent an hour in line with the HP chat support, who promised to send a replacement within 3-4 business days. Nothing happened, so now I'm on the phone with HP support who spent 20 minutes until now trying to see if there is any record. What is your experience with HP support and the quality of this product. So far, I'm very underwhelmed.

Slimline = BBQ hot box.  Heat is the number one killer of electronics (you don't raise the voltage on board HP).  I saw a certain PSU dead in this forum.  Replacement of power supply cannot last very long if subjected to the same environment.  It's too late to return the PC to get a refund, but you can always migrate electronics to a bigger case and with better ventilation (Antec 300).  The largest case will also allow you to use a more powerful/silent power.  The power supply is around $30 - $40 after rebate.

  • Replace the power supply in a Studio Slim s 540

Hi, I bought a 540 s Slim of Studio in November 2009 and now I've decided I want to make games a bit. However, it runs a little hot, and there is not enough energy for a new card. I think I have a power supply that is 300w.

I was watching a GTX 460 or ATI 5850. The 5850 is probably too much for the case. So I thought to replace the case by something simple but effective. I like this:

    http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16811119137&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-RSSDailyDeals-_-na-_-na&aid=10521304&PID=3136390&SID=

This case should be quite good, with the addition of a fan or two perhaps.

Now to my next problem. I keep everything in the Studio Slim to the stock, the Quad Core, 6 GB of ram, etc. The only thing that changes is the power supply and graphics card. However, I've heard Dell Mobos/PSU are owners and making it difficult to replace PSU. I have need around a block power 400w-500w. What is compatible with the dell motherboard chipset? Help would be appreciated, thanks.

Some of my features, if it helps:

    Motherboard: Dell 0M017G A00 P45/P43 chipset
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300
RAM: Twin 400 mhz (DRAM frequency) 6 GB DDR2 memory
HARD drive: Western Digital 7200 RPM 32 MB Caviar Black

PSU: bed 10A 125v so I think that its to 300w?

    deuce985

The Studio 540 Slim has a 250w power supply.

The power supply is a standard ATX format, but due to the constraints of the 540 Slimline case, it is a unit of owner of Dell, due to its shape, size, and the wiring harness.

If the motherboard has been installed in a box ATX Mini/Mid Tower standard, more generic standard ATX power supplies can be associated, either a 24-pin or 20 + 4 pin main card mother power connector, with or without the on/off switch.

You should be able to buy a compatible power supply either a local computer or online store.

Note: You need a diet with four SATA power connectors.

    Bev.

  • Where can I buy an original Xbox 360 slim power supply

I got a new xbox 360 slim power brick came from damage, very hot, the fan does not turn on and the xbox turns off.  Where can I buy a new power supply for Xbox 360 slim?

    Hello

You will probably want a replacement. I would have you contact Xbox 360 support and ask for a replacement.

If you want to buy a new Xbox slim 360 power supply current, no doubt, you can visit Microsoft store and order a.

Except that it is impossible to find one on the Microsoft Store website. A search sorted by relevance shows several pages of results, but stops to those connected Xbox without a power supply, appearing never to return.

So where/how in fact buy a replacement power supply, please?

    Hello

This info you have posted has been extremely useful. I contacted the: contact Xbox 360 support as described above and crossed the shoots of boredom to verify that it is indeed, the power supply cord. Then, I could order one for about $35.00 with shipping and taxes, (since the site checked that our original warranty had already expired).

    Thank you :-)

  • Upgrade power supply for Pavillion 9040n

Hello.  My PC is a 9040n Pavilion with Vista.  Full sheet here http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/ca/en/ho/WF06b/12132708-12133156-12133158-12133158-12133158-80631744-...

I'm moving my current card of the chart (NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS graphics card) to a Radeon HD 6450.  This means that I also put to the power supply.  Can anyone recommend a diet around 600w that works?  Don't look for is not the cheapest, but I like to keep around $100 or less.

I saw a couple that seems like they would work, except that the fan is at the top, like this: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=59908and I guess that's out of the question for my PC.

    Thanks for your suggestions!

    Kevin

If you look at the blades of the fan in the power supply, you will see that it sucks air through the fan and pushes the air components of the PSU, then the vents next to the plug/socket and power switch. Place the power supply on the top of your computer case with power supply on the side fan draw the air out of the case will not blow hot air into the case.

  • Fan power supply ATX Vostro 420 * or shot? !

I'm looking to replace the power supply in my Vostro 420 with a standard ATX power supply.

New ATX power supplies have a large 120mm positioned on top of the PSU fan. Does this or *?

It is important because the Vostro is not really compatible with ATX design - the case has a solid above the PSU Panel so that the power supply unit must be mounted with the fan down on the mother/CPU card. A fan which breath would simply blow the hot air on the CPU.

Conversely, a fan who * would * hot air from the motherboard in the power supply and on the side.

None of these options is great.

I am puzzled how to mount a new ATX PSU and if the fan * or breath.

What is the best way to mount a new ATX PSU in a case of Vostro 420?

The shift of the 4 screws on the back, you CANNOT point the fan at the top.  He is pointing down and draws air upward.  Graphics also of VENTILATION at the back. AFAIKT ZERO types bring in air from the rear.  Even the location VENTILATION fans in the back.

I hear from the front the front of the case.  The power supply is located on top of the CPU fan and hoovers to the top of the hot air and sends it to the back of the case.   This is the norm for almost all Dell I can think.  There are fans of aspiration to the front of the case and video cards and blow hot air from the PSU to the rear.

  • The Green and black wire to three posts on HP POWER supply

Hello!  I recently updated my old diet Pavilion 760n for a power SUPPLY ATX 500W PSU.  Everything worked very well.

Uh, except that a small pig green and black of the former power supply... one that has been plugged in where it says 'PS - FAN' on my mobo.  I didn't have one of these same three grandsons connectors on the new power supply.

And is even funnier, as the old power supply HP has a list on the side which shows what color wire has what voltage on it - red + 5V yellow is + 12V, black is ground, etc., but GREEN is not on the list!

I opened my computer and big case fan is running (12VDC fan), the fan on the heatsink from the CPU works, the GPU card fan works... the only fan who is not running is the power supply fan (but I think it is because it is running when the power supply gets hot and she needs).

Can someone tell me what this little piggy of son was for and what voltage it supplied, and how it is used? Thank you!

It's your motherboard and I see that the outlet marked PS - FAN.  Apparently motherboard and bios controlled the speed of the fan to power supply.  It is the first time I heard of this, but then you have an older model of PC.  New power supplies have an internal fan.  The Green wire can be a signal wire.

  • G4 MDD power supply Issue

My MDD was recently stop only two or three minutes after a cold start. The power led lights up, the gray screen with the Apple logo appears with the spinning wheel, but then the machine suddenly loses power as if the power cord was disconnected. These are the things I've already tried:

    1. Removed the PRAM Battery
    2. Disconnected all devices except the keyboard and the monitor
    3. Tried a different power cord

Start in safe mode did not help. The fans are all running, the red LED lights on the logic board and disk drives seem to work. This could be a power supply issue or a problem with the motherboard and is it possible that I can definitely identify the problem without being able to start the G4? The startup time has been considering more when everything worked last week, would that be a clue? I've owned this machine for more than twelve years and it put to the test so I wonder if it's time to retire him.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer!

Hi, looks a lot like a problem of heat from the CPU, thermal paste is usually good for 5 years or more.

    It runs longer open door?

  • 29W power supply will work for iPad 9.7 Pro

My iPad Pro 9.7 inches provided with a power of 10 watts. It takes about six hours is responsible for the depletion of the layer to be 100% responsible. I would like to be able to do it faster. I noticed that the iPad Pro with a larger screen has a 29 Watt power supply available in the Apple Store. I bought this with the cable Apple to convert USB type C USB 2, which I am connected to my Flash a USB cable.  When I try on my Pro 9.7 inch iPad it charges no faster than six hours. Anyone who has tried using a larger power and they have managed to improve the loading time?

The smaller iPad Pro does not have lightning speed USB - C compliant connector which has the bigger iPad Pro, so the special USB - C cable and 29W power supply wiil lightning does not work with the smaller iPad Pro to load more quickly.

Return these back to Apple for a full refund.

    Sorry

  • Fan of mid-2010 MP in power supply

The fan in the power supply of my Mac Pro (mid 2010, OS 10.11.5) began its decent slow in death - intermittent squeaking. I hesitate to pay a few hundred dollars to replace the power supply just when a fan $ 20 will most likely do the trick.

    (1) is that someone can confirm that the fan is replaceable? iFixit.com wasn't much help to answer this question, or for parts. Here's their entry: https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Mac+Pro+First+Generation+Power+Supply+Unit+Replacem ent/32222

    (2) even in the case that does not know the answer to question (1), I want to give it a shot; can someone point me to a source of parts other than ebay.com, galaxyhp.com or Low End Mac google group? I'm happy to install an after-market fan, unless this is not recommended for a reason any.

    (3) any other suggestions? (If the bearing is not tight, I'm curious to know if I can just pack the her with the fat.)

    Thanks in advance!

I would try a few drops of Marvel mystery oil, he made fans years beyond their phase of freezing/grinding...
