  For some reason, now the link PDF does not work in Firefox on my computer. It works in Safari and Google Chrome, but not in FF. totally works on my wife Mac, but not mine.

  I see that the link, http://www.creativetroubleshooter.com/Images/padresume1.pdf requires adobe reader. It might be possible that when you updated the FF extension of adobe reader has been deleted. Try to reinstall adobe reader software and see if that helps.

  I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice.

  I have several html pages that contain many hyperlinks throughout the page

  On each page there is a button print javascript (ie. onclick = "returnfalse... window.print ();")

  Whenever a user selects the option in the print dialog box to print the page in Adobe PDF, the output (pdf) does not keep hyperlinks.

  Is it possible, service or product that will allow external users to print to PDF and preserve hyperlinks work?

  No, unless you convert the page yourself, upload to the server and make it available for download. There no way for the buttons in the HTML to control the Acrobat plugin, nor to say even if it is installed.

  Acrobat DC will give you the same functionality as you have in Acrobat 9, but are compatible with the Win10 and office 2013. You can download a free trial version and check if it works for you before you buy/index. Do not install on a system eval version with existing Acrobat is installed (unless you are ready to reinstall, which may not work in your situation).

  Solution 1) (this error occurs when you have more than 1 process of Acrobat running)

  • (1) go to the task by pressing Ctrl + Alt + Del Manager
  • (2) go to the process in the Task Manager
  • (3) terminate all processes associated with Acrobat
  • (4) start Acrobat again.

  Solution 2) open Acrobat access to menu help & repair installation.

  Solution 3) control the association of file on your system.

  Solution 4) course for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\acrobat\shell\open\ddeexec\application and change the "AcroviewA10"key to "AcroviewR10.

  V11.0.12 XI and IE11 Acrobat. Hyperlink inside PDF is a blue rectangle and links to another PDF. When PDF is opened in Acrobat, the link works. When opened in any browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome) the link does not work. How can I get the link to work in browsers?

  I think it is a bug. I uninstalled Acrobat and reinstalled Acrobat v11.0.0. I tried the link and it works properly. Then, I installed each both updated and tested the hyperlink. Update 1-10, that the link works. However, when the 11.0.11 update is installed, the "Go to a page in another document" hyperlink stops working in browsers. V11.0.12 installation does not solve the problem. If I uninstall Acrobat and install v11.0.0 with updated v11.0.10, everything works fine.

  You can always store as .ai files and should. But create a PDF file for the feature of the combine. Just to be sure, have you tried to open a .ai file in Acrobat (not combine) and doing a job?   I tried something similar to what I am experiencing but could not find it here. I didn't know about best place to put this on these forums. Please read beforehand.

  I have a client who knows the problems opening PDFs from the web. It has Windows 7 64 bit using acrobat 9. She can open PDF files locally or on the server share. She can save a PDF to your computer and then open them however if it tries to open them in a browser (IE mainly, but also happens in FF) she gets a pop up saying close Acrobat/Reader and try again. (1:1). I tried to disable all security on browser and acrobat and by unchecking the option internet browser open, but nothing is to resolve the issue. It is up to date and I tried to repair the installation.

  There are two potential problems from the outset. First of all, make sure that you have updated AA9. He is currently at 9.5.3. Since you have not mentioned the subversions, I guess it's a version 9.0.0 Setup. This is particularly a problem on a 64 bit system.

  To the best of my knowledge, AA9 does not work with 64-bit OFFICE versions. I suspect you're running IE as a 64-bit process and that may be the issue. Unfortunately, I have never clear on PDF plugins for browsers, but at least it gives you something to consider.

  We have the policy when users logged in it will be open IE automatically with the application.

  When you click on the PDF it does not open, but when we close and reopen IE it opens PDF files correctly.

  We check with lan connected desktop and it works very well here and we are facing this problem with laptops.

  The desktop computer is 32 bit win 7.

  Laptops have Wi - Fi and having the OS 64 bit windows 7 ENT SP1 adobe version 10.

  Question: You load the 64 bit version of Internet Explorer on first launch?  If you are then it's your problem.  Plugin PDF is not 64-bit capable, so the solution would be to launch the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer.
