Hi drrayudu,

Please make sure you use the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader update.

Go to the Edit menu > Preferences > General and check the box for 'enable PDF thumbnail previews in Windows Explorer '.

Click OK to save the settings.

Let us know if you still experience the problem.

Kind regards

Meenakshi

There seems to be a problem with PDF Maker. I found the same result with PDF Maker, which included no graphics (markup). HOWEVER, if I print to the printer Adobe PDF, the result is very good. The latter would no links or bookmarks, but the markup is here. I couldn't find all the PDF Maker settings to work around this problem.

  • Photoshop CS6 PDF files does not open in Adobe Acrobat

    Photoshop CS6. Windows 8

I used Photoshop to create smaller PDF files. I've never had a problem with CS6 until last week. When I click on save to PDF dialog box "error" is displayed. However, when I try to open the new file in Adobe Acrobat reader, a dialog box says 'insufficient memory '. In addition, in my windows Explorer, the file appears as just a white box in the sidebar "Preview".

What I'm not doing correctly all of a sudden? I've been sticking with the same preferences and save the settings since I started using Photoshop CS5.

You have updated Acrobat / Adobe Reader recently? If so, this update may have introduced a compatibility problem in shared libraries across the world of the Adobe PDF. Either the update never passed by correctly and you now have a sloppy Acrobat. Do other sources open PDF files? If this isn't the case, it would be a strong suspicion that you may need to reinstall / repair Acrobat. It is also possible that you have probably enabled sandbox in Acrobat security preferences (or did an update) and so Acrobat refuses to open some files, if it is unable to determine their origins. One more thing that comes to mind: have you tried saving the file twice in a row under the same name? This kind of thing sometimes happens too fast (on SSD drives and others) and is not update Windows file security information in time (or your virus scanner cannot keep up) and the resulting file is useless. Crush them with the same file would then give the correct results.

  • Refrying a PDF file - does not completely print

    Hello

I have a PDF of pages about 1797, I want to do a refry (PDF printing). The pages are all send the PDF printer, but in the end I only get 24 pages in the PDF document, if the document is not fully printed. Even if I do a print from page 40 for example operation sometimes it displays only 13 pages...

So my problem or situation: I want to refry the document completely.

I've checked the security, and everything is ALLOWED, impression too.

Why I want to refry is because he did a culture on the file on all edges and I want to delete these 'invisible' margins and experience has taught that it is quite impossible to do this in Adobe... to do a refry. If you think otherwise please let me know... 'Remove hidden information' does not help.

    Thank you for your help,

    Ruben

I want to by the working parameters, click the properties button, and then click the settings tab. You will see a settings of the work there. The default value is Standard. Try press or print and see if there is a difference. I would choose the button ALL. Also, which version of Acrobat you run, including updates. For AA XI, the current version is 11.0.05.

  • There are many versions I [changed an option] so that PDF files does not open in Firefox. v 42.0, now I have no pdf viewer by default/built-in at all.

I don't know how long it was, but I decided that I didn't want to use the pdf viewer by default in Firefox at the time, and because things have been very slow in the browser, I disabled the default viewer and set options to ensure that all PDF files that are open outside of the browser and directly in Adobe. I have no memory of what I've done to get there in time.

Now for c. 42.0 (and 41.0.2, front) when I go to Options > Applications and select one of the "Adobe Acrobat Document" s, my only options are always "ask," "Save the file", or «Use other...» "and there is certainly no option of Firefox Viewer in 'another use. »

With Adobe Reader latest terms and the fact that they can now push updates when they want, I just * never * use again.

How to bring back the integrated pdf viewer? I realize there are other pdf viewers and I'm picking through those, but I would still have a browser too.

Oh, hang on, I missed something. When you go into Options > Application, the content type that you want to change is Portable Document Format (PDF) , which is the standard type application/pdf. (The others being obscure guys like Marlon who are not your problem). Does it work?

  • Firefox PDF reader does not display Watermarks

Firefox PDF reader shows no watermarks.

People can see (and print) my free samples less the watermarks that are in them.

    for example, in the lauriewilliamsmusic.com/composers/laurie-williams/auld-lang-syne/

Watermarks put in by free PDFill PDF and always appear in Adobe Reader.

I never imagined that such a failure can occur until I got was check things today and he saw. Not good.

Just realized that this thing is ask questions on my browser. I'm writing this in Chrome, but I have the latest version of Firefox.

Thank you all for your answers.

Because the reader of PDF Mozilla has unacceptable failure inability (or refusal) to display a piece of content of PDF files, then the obvious suspicion is that others may have the same defect.

Given that the Mozilla player had this serious shortcoming for years, and the related assumption that people of Mozilla (not you who answered here) seem to have insufficient or even no interest to fix, it is better considered a lost cause.

I deleted all these samples PDF filigranées and replaced with GIF images low resolution of the same files.

    http://lauriewilliamsmusic.com/composers/Laurie-Williams/Auld-Lang-Syne/

At least an advantage, in this case, is that WordPress automatically displays thumbnails of the samples. That would have been possible with supply of samples PDF, but is much easier this way.

    Problem solved.

A warning to anyone who sells download content in the form of files PDF and offers for free a watermark samples of all - because the PDF readers cannot trust to work correctly, to provide these samples in the form of GIF images, never in the form of PDF files.

  • Downloaded pdf files does not open in firefox

I have this irritating problem. I need to open pdf files that are already uploaded and stored on my hard drive, so it would be easier to translate their and ect. Either I'm doing wrong, but when I try to do, I always get a regular save/open quickly.

    I tried to paste the url of domain Firefox url (file:///C:/Users/Kaunaus/Desktop/Bakalaurinis/EPFL_TH5664.pdf);
And on the right, click on PDF-> open with-> Firefox.

Same command prompt. If I choose to open, it opens with Adobe Reader (not in the Firefox tab), check-in - saves a copy to a specific location.

    All solutions?

Hello freedomas, you can try the following?

go in firefox > help > troubleshooting information, click on file/show profile folder and close all firefox windows later. a windows Explorer window should open upwards - in there remove the file named mimetypes.rdf (which stores the actions to handle different types of files) - it will be regenerated the next time you launch the browser.

  • Bleeding with the PDF file does not. Help?

I created a 8.5 x 11 file in illustrator with a bleeding .25inch on all sides and saved as a PDF for printing, but there is still a white border on the edges of the paper.

Is it because the printer does not recognize the bleeding? I ask this because at first the printer want print on paper 11 x 17. It's a dealer to print FEDex Kinkos incidentally.

Please let me know any tips or recommendations. Thank you!

Very little focus on the toner to printers can print edge on board. That's why when you print on a sheet of 8.5 "x 11" ", even if you print to the edge, you'll probably find up to 0.25" white margin around the page. " There is nothing that you can do directly about it.

This is exactly why FedEx desktop recommended print on 11 "x 17" that would have allowed the full 9 "x11.5" surface printing, including bleed, to print on the sheet and you to adjust well to 8.5 'x 11' with printing to the edge via purging through your design. "

  • PDF files does not open in Internet Explorer 9 after updating adobe 10.1.3

I reinstalled Adobe 10.1.3 several times and I can't view, open, or save .pdf files.  I tried to use Safari and can I view and save .pdf files, but I use int Explorer. 100% of the time.  What is the solution?

I'm in trouble here myself. I have Vista Home Edition 64-bit. The world was good until I welcomed this update to proceed. I can't go back to the old version (work) of Adobe because one of the suggestions was uninstall I did.

I checked to make sure I was using 32-bit browser mode and no 64

Adobe installed/Reinstalled/repaired [this facility has been a nightmare taking over several hours of troubleshooting]

I changed the settings in Adobe as above and everything rebooted

I can open PDF files on my hard drive.

I can open the PDF files on the http sites

I can't open or download PDF files on https sites more (even if I could before the upgrade)

Of course, THE ones that I really really need since I'm paperless with the Bank, verizon, etc etc... I tried today will still sites on my IE8, XP computer work with Adobe Reader 9 and viola! no problems. They work as expected

I chose NOT to run Chrome as it gave me problems before. I only use an IE9 browser and it is the Version 9.0.8112.16421 updated version 9.0.7 and my update of windows displays only associated them optionally available updates, which is that I have installed silverlight.

    Please advise!

EDITING - I did a test of browser on Wells Fargo, and he said that I was on IE7. I went to uncontrolled compatibility settings the race all that (I don't think I have that turn), but it still says I'm on IE8 although I'm on IE9 and IE9 says - somehow I think that it is perhaps part of the problem. FWIW, I've had now problem downloading their PDF of 'test', but it was on the part not secure their site.

LAST MODIFIED - don't know why this has not happened before, but maybe it was an update to IE9 - if you go to tools > Internet Options > advanced and scroll down to the bottom, there is a check box for "do not save encrypted disk files", what thought Microsoft had to be checked. However, if the file is encyrpted and the block is turned on you can see it or download it. Has worked like a charm when this block is not checked. So nothing to do with Adobe, everything to do with IE9.

  • Flash file does not display using CFHTTP to IE6

    Hello

I have a page that displays a flash movie file, but it will not display the movie via CFHTTP under IE6. I use CF MX 7.02.

If I navigate directly to the page, the flash animation plays (in IE6 and Firefox). If I CFHTTP page using FireFox 2, the flash animation plays. If I CFHTTP does not play the page using IE6, flash animation.

If I dump the scope CFHTTP, it is identical between Firefox and IE6 and no error is reported.

For this I stripped debug code back to:

    < html >
    < head >
    < meta http-equiv = "Content-Type" content = text/html"; charset = iso-8859-1 ">"
    < / head >
    < body >
    < div style = "border: 1px solid black ' >
    < object classid = "clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase =" http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=7, 0,19,0 ' height ="145"width ="544">" "
    < param name = "movie" value = "inc/navigation.swf" >
    < param name = "quality" value = "high" >
    < embed src = "inc/navigation.swf" quality = "high" pluginspage ="" http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer ' type = "application/x-shockwave-flash" height = "145" width = "544" > "
    < / object >
    < / div >
    < body / > < / html >

Here is the header the cfdump CFHTTP:
    HTTP/1.0 200 OK Content-Type: text/html connection: Close Date: Tuesday, December 12, 2006 03:36:07 GMT Last - Modified: Tuesday, December 12, 2006 03:31:17 GMT Server: JRun Web Server Content-Length: 691

    Someone at - it ideas?

    Thank you
    Murray

I have now found the reason for the problem.

What I now understand, is that the resolveurl = "yes" setting on the cfhttp tag is changing the classid = "clsid:D27CD... complete parameter of {etc} to include the url so it ends like this:

    ClassID =" http://127.0.0.1:8500/sites/clsid:D27C... {etc.}

and that obviously stops the ActiveX flash player to be found.

If I delete the full url to the value of the classid of the cfhttp.filecontent before displaying the page, everything works fine.

  • 12 Firefox (Mac): PDF file is not displayed

I get only a blank in Firefox screen when I click a PDF web link. I tried most of the solutions here: http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/cant-view-pdf-web.html
Some of the solutions suggested that I can't try. For example, in the Adobe Reader preferences the check mark "view in browser" is grayed out, I can't deselect.
If I disable the plugin I can download the PDF file when I click on a link.
Safari has no problem to display PDF documents.
Mac OS x Lion, Firefox 12.0

    See-> https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2012/05/04/adobe-reader-blocked-mac/

There is a specific problem of Mac with Adobe Reader. Adobe is working on a fix.

Rather than use the plugin to display PDF files in Firefox, open the PDF files in Adobe Reader/Adobe Acrobat

If this answer solved your problem, please click 'Solved It' next to this response when connected to the forum.
