  Another thing I just noticed looking at your screenshot that you have a different pixel format to square pixels.

  That could certainly have something to do with it.

• Pen & pencil brush Style to lose after one line

  Feeling frustrated, there may be a setting I'm missing.

  I put a brush style (charcoal, pencil, etc.), and when I use the Brush tool keeps the style of brush, BUT when I use the pen tool or a pencil, it resets to zero after each line so I re - select style brush for my desired effect. It is not effective. (Sad face)

  Go to the appearance Panel (Menu: window > appearance). Click the top right for the context menu. Deselect "New Art has basic appearance".

  I bought the full package of CC and installed Flash Pro CC today on my laptop (lenovo y50) and im getting crashes when I use pencil and Brush tool.

  When I use the selection tool the selection is not in the right place. program feels weird.

  IM using latest version

  running windows 8.1

  lastest flash and air and graphics drivers.

  IT hangs just does not show even a mistake just benggg has stopped working.

  Can someone help me?

  I was having the same problem and found the solution from Adobe.

  Go to the Control Panel - hardware and audio - display-

  change the size of the text for the smallest a 100%

  Restart the OS and start adobe flash

  Maybe it's time for the list (forget avbout 5), and you've probably been through the easiest at the top):

  The following is a general list of things, try when

  (A) the question is not in a specific file,

  (B) you have a printer installed, connected and turned on if it's a physical printer (you can use Adobe PDF/Acrobat Distiller as a printer by default without the need to have a printer on, of course you will need to specify when you really need print on paper), and

  (C) It is not caused by problems with opening a file from external media (see below).

  You tried/made some of them already; 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  If possible / there is, you must record a current work first, of course.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can make up at least 5 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you can find the file here:

• Sliders for adjustment brush missing in LR4, trying to manipulate the created masks originally in LR3

  I'm trying to re - edit some of my photos of birding (CR2 raw images).  I have a hard mask were created in LR3 and taken a lot of time because of the feathers on a complex background.  I don't want to have to re-mask while LR4.  When I imported my files to the original mask LR3 LR4 is always present.  However, the Temp sliders, color, highlights, shadows, Saturation, noise, Moire and fringe are missing.  I want to do localized of noise control to maintain the sharpness of the pen so I need the noise slider.

  Am I missing something?  If I'm working on a photo that had no mask LR3 all cursors are available.  If there is a mask of LR3 Miss cursors.

  Images processed in Lightroom 3 will always show the 2010 settings process.  If you go to the section of calibration of the right panel, you can switch to the new version of process.  But it'll probably make changes to your images.  Then try it on one and see if the changes are acceptable.  I just change the images I've been working on Lightroom 3 on an individual basis when I decide I want to try to improve.

  Check if your pencil/brush painting Mode, or the layer is another than Normal.  For example, you will get the contrasting color, if the Mode is the difference or Exclusion.

  While drawing, I accidentally did a pencil brush, which has not saved, I don't remember how I did it and do not know how to recreate. I tried searching online for other similar but so far, have not found anything close enough. I was at Midway through a drawing and type of need this brush back to finish.

  I am sure that I started on the predefined brush "spatter 39 pixels" and adjusted, but I don't I remember what I changed the settings.

  

  Unfortunately, I don't think that anyone will be able to tell you exactly what the settings were just watching. It is a bit narrow, and maybe this will help you to remember the settings that you have actually used.

  Hi, thanks for the quick response. I just realized I've done all this time, I think I'm going through various round tables, I always press B by default when I'm on the Panel, I need to draw this changed the brush in pencil which I think is why the spacing and the modified transfer.

• 5 Lightroom adjustment brush has disappeared, just the cursor of the watch. I don't know what size I use. Just happened without reason. Looked in the Pref and there nothing to adjust, etc.

  Just using the adjustment brush in Lightroom 5 on a picture and suddenly the circles brush missing lmao! Cannot find anywhere to return, thought that maybe I hit a button accidentally turning off or something. All I get is the mouse cursor while I use the brush, but I have no idea how the brush is large or where the hell the brush is used! Trying to close the Application and restart as you do, and nothing changes, still no brush.

• Can't remove used element Trash

  I have a Mac OS X, and when I looked at someone another discussion on deleting a used item in the trash, I could not find the right answer. My point used was no pdf, but some downloaded element that caused an error or a virus on my laptop. I was testing to see if I can run "Roller Coaster Tycoon", but it was then I realized that the interactive game was for the Microsoft Windows 95 computers only. I had the same problem when I dragged "Roller Coaster Tycoon" (which showed an icon with paper, pencil, brush, and rule; on the front is white WITHOUT side) to the trash, but then he says the same thing, even after I restarted everything, "the operation cannot be performed because the"Roller Coaster Tycoon"element is in use." As soon as I press 'Continue', this point is still in the trash, like, constantly. Does anyone know any suggestions that can solve this problem? If so, please confirm your PRESENCE and I will be very grateful.

  BTW, in case you are looking at my Macbook Pro mark, I actually don't have an El Capitan 10.11.5. My App Store offered me a free update for this. My computer is just an OS X Version 10.9.5.

• Updated OSx and now no application open - "might be damaged or incomplete."

  From one day to the next, I update my OSx to 10.11.4 and now all my apps give me a "cannot open the application"XYZ"because it may be damaged or incomplete" error message.  Once I have try an app's icon in the dock the generic white paper with a pencil, brush and the leader.  Not good.  I feel that it's maybe a permission thing, but any help on getting my business back would be greatly appreciated.

  It is possible that you have moved applications from their default locations before the update to El Capitan.

  If this is the case, go to your Applications folder and try to open it from that location.

  You can then delete the old links from the dock and replace them with the current versions.

  

• Painting started 5, 42px. instead of 0px.

  Using paint starting the pencil, brush, shape etc. to 0, 0px it won't start not actually there, but 5, 42px.  How can I fix it?

• Where do we start?

  As a Professor of fine arts who are retiring for over twenty years, I am extremely interested to pinch something new with my art.  How about that might be a better fit for someone who used pen/pencil/brush on paper and canvas... Photoshop or illustrator?  I would like to learn time eventually, but not sure you first?

  Photoshop has a narrower paradigm freehand painting and drawing, but it depends on the type of things you would like to create and for what purpose. Photoshop's halftone, Illustrator is vector and the difference between the models of imagery is probably the first thing you should learn.
