PeopleSoft IOM UM connector provisioning question

I get the below error whenever I try to set up an account of peoplesoft by IOM:

"[Error when running the utility: unable to connect to peoplesoft: OIMUM@[HOSTNAME] is a user ID invalid, or that you have entered the wrong password."  User ID and password are required and that is case-sensitive.  Make sure that you type in the correct upper and lower case.


For some reason any IOM hostname is annexed for the service account by attempting a connection to the target system and that could be the cause of the problem. PeopleSoft my system is on another machine. I haven't tried to research how the host name is added, but I have no chance to find the cause of this one.


Any ideas on this would be great.

This problem has been resolved through the system pointing to the wrong system of target of PeopleSoft.

    Problem is solved.

    psjoa.jar must be transferred to IOM DB using UploadJars.sh utility, then purge the cache and also reboot may also be necessary.

  • IOM with connector AD

    So I have an instance IOM pretty bare bones.  We had things install and work in IOM 11.1.1.5 and recently upgraded to 11.1.2.0.  We started having problems with AD after the upgrade.  When supply us the resource AD, we get OBJECT_ALREADY_EXISTS.

    If we create a new user (who does not exist in AD), then configure AD, we find that the error.  The process of Provisioning fails on the task to create a user.  If remove us manually the user and then retry the task, we always get the same error with the user be re-created in the process.  We have no idea why AD creates the user and then the task of the user to create complains about the same user already exists.  The version of the AD connector is 11.1.1.5.0.

    Any help would be great.

    Hey Rich - question you solved right? reason... is the upgraded version of x 9 to 11.1.1.5.0 (A) connector AD, needs to increase in length of the column for UD_ADUSER_OBJECTGUID. But if you upgrade to 11.1.1.6.0 9 x, it is not necessary.

  • ACF2 connector related question

    We are trying to install ACF2 v18 connector on our CA. I configured the LDAP gateway according to the documents, and he began. Using LDAP browser, I am able to connect to the LDAP gateway but not able to read all records from ACF2. I see no error in the newspaper of the nohup.out or Israeli defence forces.

    I checked that I am able to telnet to the port and the host of the central computer. but the central computer system, mainframe admin is not able to telnet to my port on which the LDAP gateway listening (5389), do you think that this could be the problem? is it compulsory for mainframe to talk to port of the LDAP gateway? IOM connects to the LDAP gateway using this port, but I do not know if the central computer system must also be able to connect.

    Yes it is compulsory. Two-way communication is established between Ldap and ACF2 systems targets bridge.
    But deploy you reconciliation Agent and the Agent of commissioning on the central computer. These agents to communicate with the LDAP Gateway connector operations.

    I managed to get after the installation of basic in my xp m/c with all the valuable help of this forum!
    I'm trying to set up users of the IOM to AD and following the tutorial mentioned below.

    I questioned and set cn = Users under Code & Decode... It's always the same.

    I do not find the place to remove these elements other than the tabs to make the current and active version.

    NOTE: I have no target system (AD) in my m/c because it is Win Xp, trying to provision on the side of the IOM aimed learning... This could be the reason for the problem I face in? I'm sorry for this stupid question... :-)

    I will try to respond to your request with the best of my knowledge...

    Major problem with your configured, you do not have AD :)

    1. it must contain the parameters of AD to the search context IE = which will take place in the research group where up to try to remove the ad group name and the organization name and fill in the list of choices.

    2. This is the default container in real announcement it will look like cn = users, dc = test, dc = com and your IOM uses this parameter to create the user

    3. last part, I do not have it... can you explain little more

    Everything is new in this technology at some point :)

    I use the connector for PeopleSoft UserManagement
    I ran Recon Lookup field and target user Recon resource
    When I run the user Recon, I can see the status "No matches found" in the Manager of reconciliation for most users, but some users have "event related".
    No idea how to check if its ongoing reconciliation or not

    "No Match Found" means that there is no user IOM with the account balance according to your rule of reconciliation.

  • IOM AD connector - connect not not AD LDAP

    I am new to Oracle Identity Management, so that could be a problem trivial misconfiguration.

    I installed IOM under Windows Server 2003 with AD and Exchange is already configured (with multiple user accounts).
    Then I installed the connector AD for IOM and set up the "AD Server" resource as follows:

    Name: ADITResource
    Type: AD Server

    Admin FQDN: CN = Administrator, CN = Users, dc = mydomain, dc = COM / / tested with a LDAP browser - ok
    Admin login: administrator
    Admin password: *.
    Allow the Provisioning of password: Yes
    Port number: 636
    Context root: OU = HQ1, DC = MyDomain, dc = COM / / tested with a LDAP browser - ok
    SSL Port number: 636
    Server address: 127.0.0.1
    Use SSL: Yes
    Feel: no
    isLookupDN: no

    Next, I set up the ActiveDirectoryReconTask, using the ADITResource above.

    When I run the task, it works instantly, but nothing is really happening.
    In the JBoss console, I get a lot of lines saying:

    UsernamePasswordLoginModule/initialize [ACCOUNTMANAGEMENT] INFO: One-authenticated identity: unknown

    and then tell an exception:

    ERROR [API] class/method: tcLookupOperationsBean/getLookupValuesFilteredData a few problems: the LookupCode 'null' does not exist.

    In the Deisgn Console, under reconciliation Manager, there is no result.

    I then tried to set up the ADITResource not use the SSL protocol and connect to the port no. 389.
    Same results, console JBoss raise the same errors and exceptions.

    I also tried to launch the connector test announcement, runADTest.bat, but that no longer works (it could not create the test user in AD).

    With SSL, the runADTest.bat error is:

    [OIMCP. A/d converters], the error occurred in ADClient::connectorToAvailableAD (): 127.0.0.1:636; Socket is closed.

    SearchBase we give in Recon user and Recon group.

    I have not used this recon. Are you able to see any other User Recon for the AD user object.

    Check once more.

  • IOM SAP role Provisioning: "java.text.ParseException: date of.

    OIM 11 g r2 ps2 is correctly provisioned accounts to a SAP system via on the SAP connector. The SAP user for the connection, all permissions recommended by oracle and more activity 22 in S_USER_GRP S_USER_GRP auth obj.

    When I try to set up an account, it works. A single role, it works fine as well. Problem occurs when I try to configure a second role or more than one at a time. I Don t know if this is a problem of the connector or if a SAP user permissions problem. The connector Gets the error:

    Question

    I get the following error when I try to run the scheduled task "Exchange User Distribution Group research reconciliation":

    oracle.iam.connectors.icfcommon.exceptions.IntegrationException: connector ConnectorKey (bundleName = Exchange.Connector bundleVersion = 2.0.0.1 connectorName = Org.IdentityConnectors.Exchange.ExchangeConnector) not found

    I could solve this problem to patch the Exchange Server to Exchange 2007 SP3. Here are the requirements in the documentation of the Exchange Connector.

    Target systems

    The target system can be one or a combination of the following:

    • Microsoft Exchange 2007 SP1, SP2, SP3 (64-bit)
    • Microsoft Exchange 2010 RTM, SP1, SP2, SP3 (64-bit)
    • Microsoft Exchange 2013 RTM (64 bit) for exchanging 2013 support, 17239236 Patch must be applied on the 11.1.1.6.0 of the Exchangeconnector output. This Patch can come from My Oracle Support under patches and updates.

    I have a requirement of IOM in which when a user connects, the challenge of questions must be posted at a time, rather than questions. I have found no suspicion of system properties or in the tables of the IOM. Wanted to know if this feasible and if yes, what are the parameters must be set?

  • IOM - OID! provisioning of the OID groups-QUICK HELP REQUIRED users

    I installed IOM connected to OID.

    I've been assigned certain tasks:

    (1) creation of access policy such that when a user is created in the IOM, it is put into service in two groups in OID... ie. in cn = users and cn = employees (where cn employees = is the group I created under cn = Groups, dc = ad, dc = company, dc = com)

    (2) creation of an access policy so that when a user is created in the IOM, it is put into service two additional groups in OID, say I created two custom in IOM and membership rules groups attached to them. Now when I create a user meets the rule of two members, it is attributed to these two IOM groups and placed in service in the cn = users, dc = ad, dc is company, dc = com cn = group1, cn = groups, dc = ad, dc is company, dc = com and cn = Group2, dc = ad, dc = company, dc = com.

    I also want to fill these OID groups in a child table and create their research in the form of process

    Please help me to realize and understand these concepts.

    The task of the OID Lookup Recon for group works well, lookup.oid.group is populated with values.
    How can these groups be filled with child form process table (table of OID user group).

    As mentioned in my other post, you can make these groups in the form of access policy, and all users assigned by this policy will get these groups. Any question to go back.

    I am bit confused by browsing the document for the installation of access database connector

    do I need to import the file from Nontrusted.xml to xliDBAccessLogin_DM

    or

    I need to first install the administration console connector

    I use the version of connector 9.0.4.5 with IOM 9.1.0.2 access database

    Import the file is actually a step of the installation of the connector. If you need to import this file and follow all the other steps in the doc.

  • PTC connector query questions

    I develop a connector and had some questions about the presentation of the petition. I tried to read the documentation and help, but saw no reference to these issues. I know that some of these things may not still have public API, but any help would be appreciated.

    (1) is it possible to disable the entry blank for a ComboBox and set one of the values? I am referring to when you click on the button '+' on a query and selecting a comboBox field. I tried the 'enableEmptyEntry' attribute but could do not seem to work.

    (2) is there a way to prevent several lines for the same domain? I'm trying to match a web interface that allows values separated by commas in certain areas and not others. Trying to decipher the intent of the user if they use multiple lines for the same field becomes confused.

    (3) is there a way to disable 'Match All' or 'match any '?

    After further review, the removal of the empty the box entry drop-down list on the query page is not possible.

    One feature that we've added in the last release to support the case where the user needs to find records with a null or empty value for this combobox field. For example, finding bugs without test status. We have generic for all drop-down list boxes.

    The 'enableEmptyEntry' attribute is intended to work with the attribute "emptyEntryValue" as a pair. The user can do something like this in def.xml:
    enableEmptyEntry = 'true '.

    Our framework poster in the drop-down list instead of empty or the default value .

    We recorded a feature request for this for a future version. Currently, writer connector is not a way to customize our application page, including the MatchAll, MatchAny option.

  • TMS Provisioning question

    My TMS version is 13.2, new facility.

    I tried to enable the agent TMS under administration-> configuration-> General-> tms tools enable agents. After all, I do not see any process under the status of the activity.

    Since this is a new installation and you are running 13.2 I recommend you to install the tms extension provisioning. The tmsagent is the old model of provisioning.

    I need to apply a patch from connector to connector AD. I also know the patch id. Please let me know the steps to download this patch and its application to the plug.

    Connect on support.oracle.com. Click on the patch and put your patch ID, you can get it from there. Download it and carefully its documentation.
