  SAP uses the JAVA connector server. If when execute us the command connector/run with the option of language it works: ConnectorServer.bat/Run "- J - Duser.country = US - Duser.language = in.

• PeopleSoft IOM UM connector provisioning question

  I get the below error whenever I try to set up an account of peoplesoft by IOM:
  

  "[Error when running the utility: unable to connect to peoplesoft: OIMUM@[HOSTNAME] is a user ID invalid, or that you have entered the wrong password."  User ID and password are required and that is case-sensitive.  Make sure that you type in the correct upper and lower case.

  
  

  For some reason any IOM hostname is annexed for the service account by attempting a connection to the target system and that could be the cause of the problem. PeopleSoft my system is on another machine. I haven't tried to research how the host name is added, but I have no chance to find the cause of this one.

  
  

  Any ideas on this would be great.
  

  This problem has been resolved through the system pointing to the wrong system of target of PeopleSoft.

• IOM - OID! provisioning of the OID groups-QUICK HELP REQUIRED users

  I installed IOM connected to OID.
  
  I've been assigned certain tasks:
  
  (1) creation of access policy such that when a user is created in the IOM, it is put into service in two groups in OID... ie. in cn = users and cn = employees (where cn employees = is the group I created under cn = Groups, dc = ad, dc = company, dc = com)
  
  (2) creation of an access policy so that when a user is created in the IOM, it is put into service two additional groups in OID, say I created two custom in IOM and membership rules groups attached to them. Now when I create a user meets the rule of two members, it is attributed to these two IOM groups and placed in service in the cn = users, dc = ad, dc is company, dc = com cn = group1, cn = groups, dc = ad, dc is company, dc = com and cn = Group2, dc = ad, dc = company, dc = com.
  
  I also want to fill these OID groups in a child table and create their research in the form of process
  
  Please help me to realize and understand these concepts.
  
  The task of the OID Lookup Recon for group works well, lookup.oid.group is populated with values.
  How can these groups be filled with child form process table (table of OID user group).

  As mentioned in my other post, you can make these groups in the form of access policy, and all users assigned by this policy will get these groups. Any question to go back.

• IOM Provisioning - OID Create User fails with a weird error

  I have the auto layout installation service using access policies, the user is to created in IOM, then he's trying to delivery to the OID.

  I would recommend to sniff the connection (http://iamreflections.blogspot.com/2010/08/how-i-learned-to-stop-worring-and-love.html) or decompile the connector.

  Newspapers are not very useful.

  When I try to edit an e-mail address of the user to the IOM, I get the error message below.

  oracle.iam.platform.kernel.ValidationFailedException: IAM-3050068: the [email protected] value for the Email attribute is not valid. Enter a valid value for the attribute Email.:Email:[email protected]

  e-mail address is in valid format, but could not understand what causes this error?

  This is related to your database and size.  Please contact your DBA with the error so they can expand the table.  You can always find the ORA code too: ORA-01691 impossible to extend LOB segment

• Communication of the IOM - SOA

  Hi all

  I try to configure the IOM and SOA with front-end OSH; After that the installation of the client of the IOM has changed the front-end server URL and the Port, so I need actulize all the parameters with the new FULL domain name.

  Now I can properly access the IOM and the SOA through the web layer, but when I try to view the "Inbox" page within IOM (like xelsysadm) I get this error message:

  Error display list of tasks. Possible reasons could be: 1. connection information for the server SOA are not available. 2 if it is running in Federated mode, the default server is maybe out of service.

  I tried to run in dashboard diagnostic checking Configuration of SOA - IOM, and after resolving all SSL issues now works correctly.

• Error (missing) commissioning

  Just blended and it lost connection to my data store for 3 of my 9 machines for this pool have the Provisioning error (missing) problem...

  

  After these 3 machines, it installs, and 6 other machines are perfect...

  I checked the datastore browser and 2 files for the VMs problemed disappeared and that just one folder has a file hard in it and nothing else...

  would do a right-click on 3 machines and remove them then go to the office pool and allow commissioning? When I go to the catalog of office pool it doesn't throw any errors right now... I feel that there is something I have to do the composer?

• Error importing ResourceObject xml file in Deployment Manager

  I get this error by making import of HRPeopleSoftResourceObjects.xml (A resource object xml file) in the Deployment Manager. I do this step of reconciliation Authoritative (Trusted Source).
  
  Error that says:- not present attribute in EntityDefination to user: ExpectedReturnDate.
  
  ExpectedReturnDate is a field of the UDF (Customize). I did the import of metadata and sandbox for this field create this attribute to IOM. I see this attribute on the user details screen as well as in the User Table by IOM. Ideally this error should be, no popup. I do this import of reconciliation.
  
  I pulled and checked all xml as (UserEO.xml.xml, userEO.xml.xml, userVO.xml, UserVO.xml.xml) of oracle.iam.console.identity.self-service.ear_V2.0_metadata1 files and found ExpectedReturnDate field is available.
  
  I use: IOM Version - Oracle 11g Release 2
  Version of database - 11.2.0
  WebLogic version - 10.3

  I'm removing the Manager for a user in the AD profile without changing the Manager ID in the profile of the IOM. I get error when I try to change the attribute Manager replacing a string NULL below.

  I get the same error, even if I'm changing the Manager field in AD without changing the Manager field in the IOM.

• Deployment of the IOM has failed but OIM_Server1 works fine

  When I start the server admin it shows oim_server running. But when I click on it and see the deployment, it does evidence application IOM (11.1.1.3.0) failed. I try check it out but not succeeded. I check my db connection is fine. I reinstall but once again even.
  The error light is when I run the console of the IOM on (localhost:14000 / IOM) it gives me error 404 not found.

  Our users IOM are automatically provisioned to OID using OID box connector. Everything works well except this issue.
  
  When the value of "User login" IOM contains the character (called BILLY. (BOB), the dn entry in OID is created with an escape character (dn: uid = BILLY\.) BOB, cn is users, dc = abc, dc = com).
  
  Example:
  'User Login' IOM = BILLY. BOB

  DN: uid is BILLY\. BOB, cn is users, dc = abc, dc = com

  Any resolution on this? In case the post installation steps are common - why they are not part of the standard installation so that it will not get missed.

  Hello
  If you have loged in IOM with the same database, I mean if it is the second facility on the same repository after loged in IOM, there is no chance to recover from this problem, because the password is encrypted in .xldatabasekey.

  The only thing you can try this xldatabasekey to restore your former location of the installation of the new location, but there is no guarantee.

  You need to reinstall the repository.
