  I have 2 years Toshiba laptop with a HARD drive. I want to improve its performance. I need help on this.

  I've heard that "secure erase command will restore you the SSD for plant.

  I have 5 years Toshiba laptop and I had the same plan. I've swapped original HDD with SSD and upgraded RAM to the maximum level (8GB). After doing this I installed the original recovery image and optimized it preinstalled version of Windows.

  The difference is simply amazing. For example, start Windows went from 2 minutes 30 seconds. I think I don't need to write more info on laptop's performance now.

  SSD and RAM upgrades can be done in most cases, by the owner of the laptop and without any risk.

  If you need some good advice do not hesitate to ask.

  I changed my old code and replaced it with in bulk to collect (and union all) and I was expecting a significant improvement in performance. But I was disappointed to see not much difference in performance. Just a slight improvement.

  It is change of context - but if the context is cost you say 1 second and costs sql you say 1 minute, then reduce context switches will not make much difference.

  I improve my system for best performance and I have a few questions about the GPU (graphics card unit).

  I bought an ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5 but may request to change for ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5 for more or less 50 euros more. If I leave the ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5 I also need to upgrade the PSU (Power supply unit) once it's more power demanding.

  In addition, the ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5 is the list of approved first adobe graphics cards while the is not ASUS GTX760-DC2OC-2GD5.

  My questions are:

  (1) how does the GPU does affect the editing process and the export process?

  I have a simple jspx page where I have a table element that is built using a data control that is based on a reading only SQL base VO VO. a bind variables which are defined by the input provided by the user. SQL works fine using SQL Developer. While, upon request, it shows just 25 recordings first and scrolling further it says Fetching Data and never returns or returns after so long as there is no need to use the table beyond the first 25 records. How can it be set so that the performance of the table are very good. table contains less than 10000rows from now which will increase and VO doesn't have a primary key, and there is no entity on which rests the VO.

Dynamic query using this tables is inspired. These reports of consume the right amount of time it will take to resolve these. • The performance improvement chart real time

  I'm working on a simple graph in real time. The data is queried every 50ms, and each survey results in a line one pixel wide, height in pixels (data_point) . The chart scroll such as new data is located on the right, and the oldest values ends up by falling from the left.

  My solution is embarassingly brute-force, in what I just use theMC.graphics.clear () and a loop of lineTo()s for each graphic update. If this appears correctly (and I can control the refresh rate to mitigate CPU burn), it should be painfully obvious why I want to get away from this method.

  I have to scroll or pan the a full graphic pixel to the left (and remove the line to the left) and then just pull a new line on the right, but I don't know where to start. Assuming that such a thing is possible in AS3, someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction?

  This can be done a few ways.

  First class graphics.

  Otherwise, you make several updates in the loop.

  Remove the displayList drawing while pulling all parcels.

  Then, BitmapData.

  You can use scroll(1,y) to move the image to the left.  In addition, by using bitmap data, you can lock the bitmapData to limit the refreshment of a given area.

  workign with the image bitmap information is easier to use when drawing...   Of course, this requires a little more math you can't use just line with bitmapData.

  But you can use a matrix to rotate a line at 90 degrees and increase in length.

  I tried simple as queries "collection("container")/DOC/S/READ and using the command lind and without indexes, it takes 200,182 seconds and 2992 found objects."

  The same interviewed at this index takes 166,016 seconds!

• MacBook Pro lagg issues having an impact on the overall performance

  Hello

  I had problems with casual gal/minute gel on my macbook pro. The problem affects all programs and becomes especially annoying on programs such as Logic Pro X and Adobe Lightroom to photo editing and audio. For example on Logic Pro X will come back even if the error "system overload" did everything that I could to get a smoother performance on the program.

  After a few days looking for a response, I decided to do a general cleaning of my drive. I got more than 50% empty but performance improves.

  After that, I decided to do a new clean install of Mac OS x in the hope that this would solve my problems. I didn't not use time machine for backup, I just copied the files, I needed and have yet to put em turn the computer on.

  After 2 days my problem has not yet been resolved, I tried the PRAM and reset SMC, but it has no effect. Even now as I type with only safari open I short freezes every 10-20 seconds approximately 0.5 s.

  All solutions? I already ordered a new SATA cable to replace the one I think he could the cause of my problems.

  Here are my specs, ram and SSD are updated.

  MacBook Pro (13-inch, mid-2012)

  2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

  Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

  12 GB 1333 MHz DDR3

  1 TB SSD (samsung)

  If you still run with the clean install and you have the same problem. Then, you may be directed in the right direction. If you have an external drive Enclosures or cable usb to 2.5 sata adapter. You can put the internal drive in and check to see if the problem is still there. That will tell you if it is cable or not.

  It's early days for the system on Module (SOM) and untouchables are waiting for us our first developers kit, but maybe someone got the chance to test the SOM already and could give us an idea of the level of performance, we can excpect from him? In particular, we are interested in how it compares to the cFP-2220 on digital operations, but I do not expect anyone to have done a comparison of 1-1 between those.

• High CPU use/Slow Performance after you install the updates of Windows

  I run Vista Business 32-bit.

  After you install many Windows updates in the last few days, I've known very slow performance after the system worked for a while. Resource monitor shows 70-100% CPU usage, even when you run all the apps (that I know of). This makes everyhting grind to a halt, same trip that the mouse jerky movements. I ran several complete system with McAfee anti virus scans and not found problems (using the latest software). The detail showed the so-called ", PID4 NT kernel and system" using 18% avialable CPU capacity, but this process is not always shown to use much more capacity when the slow performance occurs. Nothing else don't use much capacity CPU, I see.

  More recently, the capacity of the CPU became crazy, jumping from zero to 100% usage in a back a suite oscillation. When I shut down and restart, performance improves, but erodes little by little over time.

  Is this a sign of a virus, or is it a problem with the recent Windows updates or some kind of conflict with my software such as McAfee? How do I tell me what to do? Anyone else have this problem with the recent Windows updates?

  McAfee applications (and Norton) are known for not not upgrade (or uninstalling) itself.

  1. download the McAfee Consumer Product Removal, save it to your desktop tool: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

  2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

  4 IMPORTANT! => After the reinstallation of the McAfee application (step #3 of the McAfee fix), manually & repeatedly updated the McAfee application, until you get a prompt "no update more".
