Performance on the Web access and the certificate problem arises
Hello! I just bought a HP pro 8610 office jet and I'm trying to access the Scan function to access Web but performance is very slow and I just get a blank screen, no certificate appears. I tried to do it in Chrome and Firefox. Otherwise, the printer works fine.
I accidentally entered a wrong email as beneficiaries on the address book and need to delete an entry via the Scan option in the Web.
I'm on Windows 7 Edition home premium.
Please advise, thank you!
This has been resolved! Apparently the connection was slow for some reason any. Just tried again this morning and the certificate that is presented and not more problems. Thank you!

Performance using the virtualization problem
If we compare our software installed in a physical host and a comparable VM (same CPU, memory), we notice that the product is twice slower when running in a virtual machine (guest operating system is Windows 2003, the use of an ESXi 4.0 host. The software uses a single CPU)
As we are not in the production environment, we tried with all other VM turned off. We tested our VM with and without reserve of CPU (best results with), with and without memory (absolutely no difference) and 1, 2 and 4 vCPU
After several tests, it seems that the problem comes from the use of semaphores: when replacing them with critical sections (but we cannot just replace), the performances are quite the same between the physical host and the virtual machine. All the code is executed with similar performance, but when using semaphores, the VM uses longer than the physical host CPU.
Someone at - it something on such a problem ears already? Is there a reason to explain the poor performance when using semaphores Windows hosted by ESXi 4.0?
For example, we wrote a simple program to compare hosted by ESX Windows semaphores (in our laboratory, it took 10 sec on a physical host and 22sec in a virtual machine):
#include "stdafx.h".
int _tmain (int argc, _TCHAR * argv)
{
unsigned __int64 nCount;
NTickCount = DWORD: GetTickCount();
HANDLE hSemaphoreBridgets = CreateSemaphore (NULL, 1, 1, NULL);
for (nCount = 0; nCount < 10000000; ++ nCount)
{
WaitForSingleObject (hSemaphoreBridgets, INFINITE);
ReleaseSemaphore (hSemaphoreBridgets, 1, NULL);
}
printf ("%d s\r\n duration", (: GetTickCount() - nTickCount) / 1000);
CloseHandle (hSemaphoreBridgets);
return 0;
}
I have your reference of profiling and found that he spends most of his time in these three Windows HAL functions:
HAL 39.83%! KfLowerIrql
HAL 19,82%! KeRaiseIrqlToDpcLevel
19.07% hal! KeRaiseIrqlToSynchLevel
Hot spots in each function are the access TPR (0FFFE0080h is the address of the TPR in the local APIC):
HAL! KfLowerIrql:
807168e4 890d8000feff mov dword ptr ds:------[0FFFE0080h], ecx
807168ea a18000feff mov eax, dword ptr ds:-[FFFE0080h]
HAL! KeRaiseIrqlToDpcLevel:
807168a 0 8b158000feff mov edx, dword ptr ds:-[0FFFE0080h]
807168a 6 c7058000feff41000000 mov dword ptr ds:------[0FFFE0080h], 41 h
HAL! KeRaiseIrqlToSynchLevel:
807168bc 8b158000feff mov edx, dword ptr ds:-[0FFFE0080h]
807168c 2 c7058000feff41000000 mov dword ptr ds:------[0FFFE0080h], 41 h
Since the local APIC is virtualized, TPR access usually causes a VM exit under hardware virtualization. However, Intel has introduced FlexPriority, which prevents the release of the virtual computer for all TPR readings and some TPR Scriptures. For this reason, ESX 4.0 by default x - VT for 32-bit Windows 2003 on Intel FlexPriority chips. Unfortunately, FlexPriority isn't a panacea. On native hardware, TPR access are usually only a few cycles. With FlexPriority, TPR access which do not cause a VM output may still take hundreds of cycles. Access TPR cause VM-output take several cycles of a thousand. Fortunately, we still have the possibility to use binary translation. Under the binary translation, TPR access usually take dozens of cycles.
For this particular workload, you must configure your client to use binary translation. On my system of Penryn, benchmark runs in 22 seconds using VT - x (with FlexPriority), but it takes 13 seconds using the binary translation. (For completeness, it takes 90 seconds using VT - x without FlexPriority).
Your client's situation is different. AMD has never introduced an equivalent to FlexPriority technology. However, if your customer has configured their VM to use the material support of the MMU, then the virtual computer will use AMD - V, which suffers from the same problems that VT - x without FlexPriority. Make sure they have configured computer virtual for the MMU software support so that it runs using the binary translation. (For this guest under ESX 3.5 default execution mode is binary translation).

We host our Web site and are having problems with the rendering of the site in a browser
We have kept all our html files, css files, scripts, images etc to our server (which is where we have our previous site hoted). When we open our Web site, we get a "Directory Listing Denied" message.
What should we do to get our site direct and responsible?
The site works very well if you explicitly visit http://www.ament.com/index.html. The Phonebook list denied error you get when visiting http://www.ament.com is related to your web hosting setup. Contact your Web host for this problem.

performance on the VMS problem
Hello
Do you have a do deal with all nicely performace concern (that is to say CPU, memory, network or disk) with offset in VMtools version and the version of the material on any version of Esxi host.
My Esxi version: 5.5 build-3029837 and 2702869.
Please suggest if all available KB associated with this type of questions.
For Ex:

GuestOS: Microsoft Windows Server 2012 (64-bit)
Version: v8
ToolsRunningstatus: guestToolsRunning
ToolsStatus: toolsOk
ToolsVersion: 9357

Yes, it could be the performance impact, but not specifically because of a link between VMware Tools v9 and HW version v8.
VMware Tools 9 implies that you are on vSphere 5.1 or higher.
And here the HW version 9 or higher.
The HW version could have the impact on performance if you follow is not the version of vSphere.
Notice that handling change when you go to HW v9 or higher (Web client)

Cube Performance for the Refresh problem
We are facing a strange performance problem with the refresh of the cube. The cube that would take 1 HR to update takes about 3.5 to 4 hours without any change in the environment. In addition, the data it processes are almost the same before and now. Only these cube out of all of the cubes in the workspace suffers the problem of performance over a period of time.
Details of the cube:
This cube has 7 dimensions and 11 measures (mixture of sum and avg as grouping algorithm). No compression. Cube is partitioned (48 partitions). Main source of data is a materialized view that is partitioned in the same way as the cube.
Data volume: 2480261 records in the source to deal with everyday (almost evenly distributed across the partition)
Cube is refreshed with the script below
DBMS_CUBE. BUILD (< < cube_name > >, 'SS', 5, false, true, false, true);
Has anyone faced a similar question? Please can advise on what could be the cause of performance degradation.
Environment - Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0
MN - awm11.2.0.2.0ARecords are recorded in CUBE_BUILD_LOG if you generate from DBMS_CUBE. BUILD or AWM. (The situation for CUBE_REJECTED_RECORDS is different).
Maybe you build another schema? Records are sent to the CUBE_BUILD_LOG table in the schema of the invoker, not the AW patterns. For example, if you have an AW in the SCOTT schema and run the DBMS_CUBE. BUILD connected call as SCOTT, then all the log records will be inserted in SCOTT. CUBE_BUILD_LOG. But if you run DBMS_CUBE. BUILD connected as certain master pattern, say OLAPDBA, then the folders would be added in OLAPDBA. CUBE_BUILD_LOG. In both cases if the table does not exist, then the construction will continue without error (and connect).
On the slowdown in general construction, have you tried the cube of compensation and rebuild from scratch? If you have visited additional charges running for awhile, then can slow down the performance of cube generation. Think about the fragmentation of the disk, and you get the basic idea.

When I click on the Browse button "Open dialog box appears", I select the image, but when I click on the Open button in the open dialog box, you have to show the image. but it does not show the image.
What is the problem? and how to solve this problem. Can someone tell me...

Hello
For our VDI environment, we use both clients Wyse thin (Thin OS 6.2.0_16) and VMware VDM Web Access to access Windows XP virtual machines that are available through the VMware VDM connection server. The connection and the agent server is at version 2.1.1 build-663. We run ESX 3.5 and Virtual Center 2.5 times with update 3.
The issue I'm having is once a Windows XP SP2 virtual computer has been upgraded to SP3 will be blue screen when I try to access it for the Wyse terminal after his last accessed from VMware VDM Web Access. Order real to get there would be to access the VM SP3 from the Wyse Terminal, then go VDM Web access, and then again from the Wyse Terminal and it will have a blue screen. Disconnect or disconnect makes a difference. I'm curious to see if anyone else has this problem. I enclose the capture of blue screen and the mini dump file. If you need more information please let me know.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Peter,.
The root cause of the problem is change colordepth of 15 bits to 16 bits. Let me explain the cause of the problem.
-Connection of the terminal WYSE in a VM XP - effective colordepth in the RDP session = 15 bits
-Access Web VDM from PC connection (I guess) - effective in the RDP session colordepth = 16 bits.
-The switch back to results WYSE Thin Client = 15 new bits
This actually switch between colordepth 15 bits to 16 bits and viseversa result BSOD.
Thank you to use DesktopColorDepth = 16 RGB565 = Yes command in your wnos.ini and try to place this order through brokers VDM. It should solve the problem.
Thank you

I had problems in the past three weeks or so, where Firefox will lock when you access websites like NP.eBay.pl or Facebook, and sometimes even Google search. When you try to load these sites, sometimes the program crashes and starts using 50 to 60% of my CPU and sometimes a constantly growing amount of RAM. The only way I can fix it is to go into the Task Manager and kill the program, and then restart Firefox. Is not always a solution, either, as sometimes exactly the same problem arises immediately when I reload Firefox and I have to kill him again through TM. I usually four to six tabs open, and have never had any problems with Firefox like this before the approximate date of September 17. Could this problem have taken birth in the latest updates?
Try this:
For me, the solution was the Network.http.Max - connections setting. Lowering this setting is default 256 to 32 of correction of the problem. If you have not tried to change this maybe give it a go by typing about: config in your address bar, and then click the Network.http.Max - connections setting and by replacing the value 32.

How can I find a road to my old email 'Outlook Web Access' runner
I've been using the messaging system of the University of Ohio (Outlook Web Access) and it was easy for me.
I am now provided with TV, telephone and computer on the cable.Yesterday, I saw the words "Road Runner" on my screen and clicked on it to see what it was.
Now, I've lost my email old system and must watch announcements and news, and worst of all, my email listed in very small characters that I can barely read.How reverse and go back to my easy access to Outlook?
I guess that RoadRunner is your ISP, and you redirected to the RR pages for some reason any.
If you use a bookmark try to access OAW through its login page.
If printing of web pages is too small then make sure you are not zoomed out on these pages.
Reset the zoom of page on pages that are causing problems.

I had problems with access to most of the Web sites and noticed that HTTPS no longer appears whenever I try to access a Web site. I can easily connect to my gmail and facebook account, but the problem is that when I click on a link on FB and gmail, I get the annoying message "refused to connect.
How to address this issue, rather how to make HTTPS permanent so I can easily access any Web site. The date and time on my laptop are both correct. I am currently using OS x 10.9.5.Please!
How to address this issue, rather how to make HTTPS permanent so I can easily access any Web site.
My guess is that you have a damaged or invalid certificate entry OS X KeyChain, but to directly answer this question, I would say that consider you something like HTTPS Everywhere. Note, it is not available for Safari. It is available directly through the Google Chrome browser extensions.

Overview of the plugin performance without Web access?
It seems that the plugin install.bat overview of performance (for VirtualCenter 2.5 update 4) requires the installation of the VMware Infrastructure Web Access function.
This plug-in works with the VI Client? If so, is there a way to install and use the plugin without access installed Web?
the plugin works in the VI Client, but it works like a plugin of vCenter. So, therefore depends on the Internet access service. I don't know inside and on how the plugin works, but if the Internet access service does not work when you try to go to the tab overview of performance, it will be just error.

Yesterday my Firefox seemed to spasm and I think I got a virus (whenever I hit the 'home' button which is google.com for me, send me to this weird website I knew wasn't sure). I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and ran the virus scanners, but nothing was found. After restarting Firefox, every Web site I try to go to gives me a dangerous error and I have to give each site a security exception, even for safe sites like Facebook, Twitter, etc.. Once I got on Facebook, everything is in HTML format and I can't use it at all, I tried Firefox reboot/uninstall/reactivate once again, but nothing helped. I checked my firewall and nothing came. Here is the data according to the troubleshooting information.

I hope you can understand something I like Firefox, but it's very frustrating that I can't use it and that it happens. I also use Avast! Anti-SECURITE but I'm fairly certain that has no effect on this problem. As I said I also ran malware and virus scanners but nothing came harmful.
Hello
Try to disable the Avast web shield and try to go on some safe sites where you met the "untrusted connection". You can also follow this link for the other common troubleshooting steps: error "this connection is untrusted" message - what to do.
You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- AdwCleaner (for more information, see this other AdwCleaner download page)
- Microsoft safety scanner
- Anti-Rootkit utility - TDSSKiller
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
If your home page has been changed, and you do not have the suspicious extensions:
- Tools (or
) > Addons > Extensions
You can use the Search to reset tool to reset your home page, the new tab page and search bar default back. The extension to uninstall then once that these preferences are reset.
Let us know if that helps.

I think that this has been fixed in our latest version 8.5 - documents.software.dell.com/DOC252107
Please download and upgrade your farm and let us know if you still see this problem.
If you do, it may be best to save a service request so that we can see exactly what is happening.

Firefox works fine on my home network or while I connect to the internet directly via data card. However, @ my office use us proxy and for almost all sites (even google search) Firefox stops saying "this connection is untrusted".
Attached are the screenshot for the same thing to help him to help me.
I search a lot and was closest to you that I came to this url https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/978722
Is there a way to Firefox to add office proxy certificate in the certificate chain (don't know if that will help?)
How to solve this? Kindly advice.
I think most of the proxies work similarly: they generate a false certificate to the site and have your browser so that they can decrypt and inspect the traffic between you and the site. It is a hassle to have to make exceptions for individual certificates of false - it is more effective to recognize the certificate that the proxy uses to sign false certificates as valid a certificate authority.
The trick is to identify this certificate. It might be easier to go to IE or Chrome, since both use the Windows certificate store (Firefox uses its own). By inspecting the certificate for a secure site and the certificate used to sign, you may be able to identify and to export this certificate (DER format or .cer).
In Firefox, you who would incorporate in the section of the authorities in the Certificates dialog box:
"3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Options > advanced > mini-onglet Certificates > "View certificates" button > mini-onglet References > "Import..." button »
Of course, it is probably safer to check with your COMPUTER that you've found and exported the correct certificate before you import it into Firefox.
