  About three weeks ago, I bought a new MacBook Pro, disabled Adobe CS 6 on my old MacBook and re-intalled on my new computer portable DVD with success. I used all my Adobe fine until today. Two days ago, I've updated all my creative suite after having received an automatic notification. Photoshop will not launch now (everything else is OK). When the Photoshop window it immediately crashes with the message "adding extensions...."  Quick basic routines' but nothing happens and I have to "force stop" window. Advice please?

  As the title suggests, the Adobe Application Manager lets know me that I've updated my Creative Suite CS5 software. I said to download and install updates. It gives me errors that say it all simply the following:

  My Acrobat X Pro has stopped working and nothing has worked in that regard advice to solve this problem, so I finally reinstalled all of the Creative Suite. Needless to say that all of the updates over the years are missing.

  How to change everything? I really need these programs to work, as I use it everyday several studies and work

  Amyjoan50 I'm sorry but I don't have any experience with the attempted execution of Creative Suite 5 in a virtual machine.  You want to make sure that applications have access to video drivers needed.  This can often be a problem when you try to run a virtual operating system.

  You can also check with the Ubuntu community or Virtual Box to see if others have had success installing using Virtual Box.

  I've updated a Win - 7 to Win-10 Pro system. Then I formatted the boot record and installed Win-10 own.

  Then I installed PS CS5, the 64-bit Version.

  I tried a few things, it seems to work ok

  Today, I saw an update icon.

  Said application manager: update of Bridge, Photoshop, Camera Raw and the extensions Manager

  Update will begin, the download will start, but in the end, I get a message saying:

  While downloading the updates, an error has occurred. Close it and try again

  It happens all the time

  What should I do?
