permission to delete the file

Hi I am currently installing CS # design premium on my computer. I had a lot of trouble with it, and so far adobe has no answer.  It's telling me I don't have permission to delete some files like adobe acrobat and it is after we have created a new administrator account. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times without success. any help is appreciated.

Hello

1 do any error message when tried to install or uninstall a program?

To uninstall the programs of the previous version, try the following steps.
Log on as administrator.
1. download and install the Windows install cleanup
http://download.Microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe
2. once the tool is installed, launch the tool in the start menu.
3. from the list of programs, select the program and remove it.
4 restart the computer so that the changes take effect as soon as the program is removed.

You can also get the removal tools program on the Web site of the manufacturer produces as some manufacturers have their own program removal tools. These tools will help to remove the program completely.

Once you have completed the above steps, try to install the program you want to install and check the result.

I hope this helps.

Kind regards
Syed

    Compress files

There are two ways to compress files in windows. Zip files and built-in file compression. It's built-in file compression. For more information on compression type zip in Start - Help and Support .

Photos, music and video are already compressed. They can get larger if Windows tries to compress it any further. Also usually a bad idea to compress system files.

If you have files of worksheet they can very well be compressed. If you have files, installation files, they can also be good candidates. Web pages are also good candidates.

In Windows Explorer, blue file names means Tablet (it is the file system compression not aka zip files compressed files). Green filename means Encrypted.

To disable file names colored, in Explorer - Tools menu (Alt + T)- display tab and then clear the check box for Show encrypted or compressed NTFS in color .

Windows compression, encryption and security to work for the most part by applying attributes to a folder and the files in the folder inherit the folder.

If you have all the files appropriate for compression, find them in solution, made Explorer right click - Properties - general -Advanced button tab - Compress contents to save disk space. Choose to apply to all files and folders when asked.

I use Vista Home Premium (32-bit and 64-bit) on three computers.  Starting last August, the files and folders listed above associated began to appear on one of my computers.  According to Google, they are related to Microsoft Malware Protection, a piece of software that I have installed.  Records are now moved to six in total, and used storage space is more than 800 MB.  If I try to delete these files and folders, I'm told that I don't have permission.  (I am the only user of my computers and I have administrator privileges).  I started in safe mode, but get the same message of refusal.

I looked at my software through the Control Panel-programs and features, but can not find such a program malware installed.  Given that these files do not appear on my other two computers configured in the same way, should not be needed.  How can I get rid of this mess, which continues to develop?

Thanks in advance for any sober.

To give the control is a two-step process. Take ownership and then to give permissions.

Owner of a file allows the owner to change permissions even if they do not have the authorization to do so. It's the only thing that made property.

You must then give you permission to delete the folder.

In order to remove "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Definition Updates" for example.
    -----------------------------------------------
Click Start - all programs - Accessories - Command Prompt right click and choose run as administrator. Type

    takeown /f "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Definition updates" / a/r

    ICACLS "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Definition Updates" / grant administrators: f/t

    RD/s/s "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows Defender\Definition Updates"

  • Cannot delete the file/folder even in Administrator Mode or Mode safe

    I. hate. Vista. Windows XP has NEVER been this difficult to work with!

I recently installed MagicISO. Didn't like it, so I deleted it. He left behind a small dll file and the folder. I wanted to remove both, couldn't.

    Tried safe mode. FAILED

    Administrator account I tried. FAILED

    Tried both together. FAILED

Help me please? How could I not have permission to delete a file in administrator mode? Seriously, Windows Vista is just messed up all unrecognizable... * rant rant rant *.

In fact, I thought that the answer.

    Went to safe mode.

Used ShellExViewer (RUN AS ADMIN) and disabled MagicISO.

Walked over to the directory and delete the .dll and the folder that it is.

Restarted my computer in normal mode.

    Problem solved.

Thank you all for helping me. I appreciate it a lot! I don't know what I'd do without you people. : D

  • Cannot delete the file on the remote server (Business Catalyst)

Hi, I am trying to delete a file on my remote server (Business Catalyst), but I get an error message (log of the errors below).  I can delete the other files in the same folder.  In addition, the permissions are the same on the files I can delete and one that I can't.  I can not remove this file with FileZilla, either - get a similar error message.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  This is a template file and I really need to be able to delete or modify it.  Thank you.

    Path is: /Templates/index_desktop.dwt.LCK

    Path is: /Templates/index_desktop.dwt

/Templates/index_desktop.dwt - error - year FTP error - can't delete the file remote index_desktop.dwt.  Access denied.  The file exists may not, or there could be a permission problem.

    Hi Nancy,.

The model was the one that I uploaded myself and I need to be able to make changes or delete it.  I have to go check out my Business Catalyst site and figured out I could delete templates through the Site Manager > Page Templates dialog box.  Thank you.

"Disk zero" was almost full warning. I deleted the files opened to create space. However, photoshop CC, crashed before that I was able to free up space. I tried several times to re - open Photoshop CC but within 2 seconds it crashes when loading. I then decided to upgrade to the 2014 version, update. He worked twice and now repeat the same problem, I have lived before update. This only happens when I'am connected under "other user account" as I had been when the accident happened first and not as an administrator. I purged the cache, more space for performance, etc. in Admin mode, I ran permission repair in public services, but when I change the user account, photoshop crashes with seconds loading. Please notify 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7, 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

As you can already read in your crash report - the crash has little to do with Photoshop and everything to do with your Nik/Google SelectiveTool plugin.

Disable this plugin and contact Nik/Google for an update that fixes bugs in this plugin.

  • If I delete the files in iCloud will be they deleted from my computer as well?

"I get the message" your iCloud-storage space is almost full.

I can delete some folders from iCloud, but removing in iCloud will also remove the original from my computer?

    Thank you

If you have the Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud > iCloud drive in market, any file you save in iCloud drive automatically saves a local copy on your record player iCloud on your Mac, and it synchronizes to iCloud by car to https://www.icloud.com/

If you delete the file or the other place that will not delete automatically from both locations.

  • What is the file deleted the files in the main folder, and can / should I remove it?

What is the file deleted the files in the main folder, and can / should I remove it? Is it too much room, I could use?

This file stores a list of files from previous version of Firefox that are no longer needed or supported in the current version of Firefox. This file is only a few KB and it is best not to delete files in the Firefox program folder to avoid update problems. If the required files are missing or modified with a update Firefox will download the full version (approximately 10 MB) instead of a small incremental update which is usually only a few hundred KB.

  • Add, change and delete the file "iTunes" on a NAS

I have just said "Apple Support Community" by Apple Support.

The title probably sums up what I'm trying to do. I'm looking for a way to add, change, and delete files on a NAS.

Hardware: MacBook Pro 15, 1 TB of storage, 16 GB memory, OSX El Capitan.

NAS: Qnap TS - 453 has: storage nominally 16 TB, up to about 5 TB.  4 WD 4TB disks in a RAID 5 configuration.

a Vaio WIN10 as well as a smaller MacBook (my wife)

The purpose of the NAS is to provide a backup system for computers and act a server "iTunes."

I acquired the NAS after the death of my WD MyBook live in December 2015 after five years of reading backup and "iTunes" to my computer and the Sonos system.

After two months of 'getting to know you' with the NAS, I finally managed to configure the server "iTunes" and Mirabile Indo-European it works!  I'm just doing the SIN to a back-up for computers.

Now for the question: I am looking for an app (for lack of a better term) that will allow me to add and remove files to and from the NAS "iTunes" folder

My search for a solution so far has indicated that:

    (1) NAS' iTunes folder is not really true Apple iTunes and

    (2) I need something that is DAAP (Digital Audio Access Protocol) friendly, that would allow me to add, change and delete the files.that would allow me to add, edit and delete files.

I'm not looking for something that would synchronize the files iTunes NAS to one of my computers, I am all prepared to do myself if necessary.

If I can't find an application so I use the app 'Brute Force' change my Mac iTunes required records and download again to my NAS.

Why do you need an app to put the files in a folder on the NAS Server?  Make them just above in the Finder.  Maybe I'm missing just your problematic here.  Do you mean add your PEMA files to iTunes? I've never used this file format, but kind of, I would be very surprised if iTunes supported it.

the NAS iTunes folder is not really true Apple iTunes

I don't understand what you're trying to say here.  "Apple iTunes" is an application. Yes, a folder is not an application.

Be warned, we see not few messages from people that use iTunes with a NAS. Often the problems cannot be explained. sometimes just iTunes and NAS disagree togther.

Pop-up window automatically downloaded a file to my laptop. I deleted the file in my downloads, but how can I be sure I have removed completely?

If you know what has been downloaded, I would use EasyFind:

    https://iTunes.Apple.com/us/app/easyfind/id411673888?MT=12

In addition, I would like to launch Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for Mac:

    https://www.Malwarebytes.org/Mac-download/

These steps will not guarantee that all items have been reomoved.  This is possible only by backing up your data, erase the HARD drive and then reinstalling the OSX and your data.

    Ciao.
