  I noticed that when I try to change my display picture that does not actually updated in the network. In other words, people still see my old picture instead of the new. Now, it's happening for multiple users on my BBM. I see people update their profile messages complaining that their isn't changing either.

  I thought it was something related to the carrier, but people who use different carriers have complained about the same. Can you please advise or worsen it?

  The problem has been fixed. I can now change my display picture. I guess it was a temporary problem. You can try yours now and try it with a different one that you have your display picture...

  I guess the moral of the story is, if many people with these problems a bit, just wait a bit. the folks at RIM will be noticed & repair.

  Check if you have data. If you do not, you can not send data prompt or accept them.

  Ah... Well it is a whole different kettle of fish, indeed! I couldn't verify that anything since, in your profile you have listed a bunch of numbers as your company... of invalid data, so I can't check anything at all.

  Further... How the hell would I change the compatibility of your BB? You realize, I hope, that by posting on this forum, you ARE NOT in any way, shape or form supported or even communication with anyone of the RIM, not you? It is a community of users... not an user-to/from-RIM for any communication channel either.

  If it's the words they used, they are not quite accurate. Any BB can be used on any carrier that is running the same radio frequencies that the BB is capable of (and I have no idea if your in are such). But, to bring you a BB on a carrier network that they don't sell, there are several obstacles to overcome:

  (1) the carrier must say 'yes' to the fact... they are owners of their network and have every right to say what devices will be allowed to connect to it. If they say 'no', then it's the end of it.

  (2) you must be sure that your BB is properly unlocked since its origin manufactured for carrier... see this thread useful for more details:

  (3) you must get all our voices works on the carrier, before you even try anything on data level services

  5 (a) if the carrier directly supports your specific model BB, then you can proceed to the registration of the BB on their network, generating adequate for your BB service book delivery and treatment of the function.

  5 (b) but, if the carrier does not directly your BB-specific model number, then the challenges are much more that most of the carrier's systems will deliver, for BB, the service books required to enable BB exclusive data services, even if you have subscribed to them.

  So, based on this, your BB may or may not ever any function on this carrier network. It can be quite difficult to achieve, especially if 5 b applies. Then take a look at this and decide how you want to move forward. Most people end up just buying a new BB if 5b applies.

  My BBM has disappeared from the BB app world, even if I type Blackberry Messenger in the search engine of the app world it shows a few apps from third party bt not the BBM real application itself...

  I currently have 6.2.0.56 BBM version and therefore cannot be updated to BBM 7...

  A few weeks ago, BBM is available for download on App world bt, it was still 6.2.0.56 version not BBM 7. .and BBM 7 released by RIM in December. Now its gone compleletly.

  I will stay in India... If BBM 7 not made available to the Indian BB users by RIM? and when it will be available?

  Or there are some issues with App world?

  And also done BB travel works in India coz I know for cards is BB n traffic BB does not.

  The reason is that carriers in India have not agreed to support the voice feature of BBM again.

  You should complain to your mobile service providers.

  I have a blackberry curve 8330 Sprint OS v4.3 and the Bluetooth was turn the days of the tooth. Then disabled Bluetooth itself for no reason and will not turn back. • BlackBerry Smartphones sync will not sync all calendar items

  Everything worked fine until a few days ago, well I noticed it this morning.  My Outlook calendar has NOTHING of my future appointments. I don't know how or why they were deleted. Appointments are on my Black Berry Torch schedule, but they will not synchronize.

  I tested with sync settings trying to force synchronization.

  I changed the default calendar account.

  I tried all the files suggested troubleshooting assistance.

  Here's the strange thing... If I create a new appointment in outlook, or on my phone they synchronize correctly.  But the appointments that has disappeared from my computer will not synchronize.

  What I did, however, set is: I don't know what fixed!   I took the black berries on another computer I rarely ever synchronize with just to see what would happen. All data, including mysterious calendar synchronized (leaked?) correctly entries.  OK, so I've narrowed the problem to my laptop (which is the computer that I had the problem with when you posted this thread).

  So I took the blackberry to my laptop, logged, sank and nothing, the calendar, same question.  Then I hit reset in the desktop software and tried to sink again, and it worked as if by magic.  So I guess that reset solved the problem.   Everything from the phone, including mystery calendar entries are now synchronized.  I guess I should have tried the obvious earlier instead of trying all of these advanced settings.   Just got a blackberry curve 8520

  Have a virgin sim card, that works

  Have marketed and implemented bluetooth paired with several phones I've tried (blackberry curve 9300, samsung)

  It will send files to both these phones, but will not accept anything else.

  Visibility is enabled.

  Removing the battery did not fix this problem

  There are a lot of free space that the phone is new and has only a few contacts and some photos of this subject test.

  Any suggestions?

  My old PRIVATE of a month who bought unlocked directly from blackberry connects not to a company in France.

  I got wind of phone from the France. They changed who thye contracted in France. Wind is a small utility that they use to do the reset on their Sim Card. They walked me through the steps and then it worked.

  For starters, do a battery pull reboot and try to send a new one. Seemingly in trouble of many little glitches.

  The signature block on my email says "Sent from my Verizon Wireless Blackberry".  I would like to add my name and email address, but the text is not editable on the Pearl.  Does anyone know how to change this?

  Verizon Wireless Customer Service has been able to explain the problem and solve it.  For those interested here it is:

  BlackBerry Internet Service provides functionality to auto-connect to new users that does not require a user name and password.

  The user must click the settings icon to email on the BB and then click on the link create username.

  Once the username is created, you can go to www.blackberry.com/go/vzw and change the signature options.
