  I changed my iTunes media folder location. My internal drive has two drives (was originally a Fusion player, after a system crash, I had to clean it and install Mac OS from scratch and is no longer read as a reader of fusion, but I agree with it), so one of the discs that I use for the OS itself and the other to store the data. I've changed most of my files application for the storage disk storage. When I change the location of folder of media to iTunes, after reboot, it restores the original file to ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media.

  iTunes will revert to the default locations, if the configured drive is not present when iTunes opens. This happens if the drive is not mounted or asleep...

• How to keep English as a default value in the spell checker after adding another dictionary?

  I added a Spanish dictionary for firefox that I sometimes email Spanish-speaking. Since then, the spell checker has stuck to Spanish language by default whenever I restart the browser.
  As soon as I select English, it remains until I close the browser. But goes back to Spanish when I open a new window.
  I tried every setting I could find, and I also tried to remove and reinstall both languages via add dictionary.
  I am at a loss. Can anyone offer some advice?

  You can check the spellchecker.dictionary pref setting on the topic: config page and if the pref tells the user the value (in bold) and then try to reset via the context menu to the default value.

• Firefox 4.0 is clumsy with big ugly buttons. It seems large and busy. How can I keep 4.0 but with the look of the previous version? I have the default appearance and I don't want to add backgrounds, or themes.

  A few months ago, I changed the default folder from the finder to a specific folder. Now, I want to change to the new folder. I already go to finder > Preferences > General > new poster finder window and change the folder, but whenever I click on the finder on the dock for the first time, keep the change back to the old folder.   Looks like you set your Finder preferences to open a specific folder when you open a new window, but it seems to keep coming back to what it was previously set to. I would first start safe mode and if some system-level caches can be erased, and a check disk and repair is done automatically:

  Try safe mode if your Mac does not end commissioning

  Follow these steps to start in safe mode.

  1. Start or restart your Mac.
  2. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.
  3. Release the SHIFT key when you see the logo Apple appears on the screen.

  After the Apple logo appears, this may take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your office. This is because your Mac performs a check of directory of your drive to boot in safe mode.

  To leave safe mode, restart your computer without pressing any keys during startup.

  Once you log in safe mode, let him by making a normal restart and test the issue again.

  As with everyone, my needs of file space is growing rapidly.  So, fmy workflow, from my camera or I intend to keep the .jpg and .cr2 (Canon) converted .dng as my 'original' files (and then discharge the .cr2).  I'm then take the .dng in camera raw and create a .psd to work on.  This .psd would become the finished product I'll which keeps along the version of it .tiff and .jpg w/a. (Total of 5 files)

  Initially, I was going to keep both the original .dng AND the .dng after setting in Camera Raw (except w / IS hosted in Bridge)- but in the interest of some clutter I thought I could save rather only the .dng adjusted.

  In this way I would have saved my settings, but if I ever wanted to "start from scratch", or try another round for file treatment, I could just make a copy of the adjusted .dng and reset everything to 'default' in Camera Raw to make the file (I think...) just as it was right after the .cr2-> .dng conversion.

  Is there a major/critical flaw in this plan?  I don't want to start doing this and then later discover 1,000 images that I forgot something I shouldn't.

  Well, you know that Camera Raw has the ability to store snapshots, right? So when you are finished with an image, you can save a snapshot, so you can keep a record of the settings of the image. This will show how to reset the display settings for the Windows File Explorer, disable Automatic folder Type Discovery (which is I think what you want)and increase the folder display the cache to make Vista do not forget the display settings, the folder type template, the size or the position of a specific window for when it was still closed to the location of specific path.
