  I noticed your post about the problem you are having with photo printing 4 x 6 inch photo paper, to your craving 5540, and I wanted to stop sharing my own suggestions.

  1. run the print and scan the doctor for Windows in order to solve printer problems

  2. Uninstall and reinstall the printer if the first stage did not help. Run it set printer to install the Printer Wizard.

  3. try to print from different programs.

  My CP1525NW printer prints photos 4 x 6 (HP Laser photo paper) with a white border. If I want the photo without border, I'll print the image at Walgreens or another local store. I wonder if I can print on a photo I already printed on my printer or a photo of the store (which also used a thermal process)?

  I'm afraid that you can't use the photo cartridge instead of the black print on your printer cartridge. See label install the cartridges or the symbols on the door of the printer when you insert the cartridges. The symbols must match those on the cartridges.

Like I said I do not use the printer but especially to print photos. I certainly don't want to replace this printer for this reason. Thanks in advance for your help

  I'm trying to print Photo Info in the custom printing package. I have no problem if you select Photo Info in the Style of single Image/Contact sheets available, but when I move the custom printing package, the news picture checkbox in the Page Panel, disappears. There is no reference to this in the manual to know why this should happen, or may not be available.

  Both will work, but Lightroom would be better to enter metadata in the image. and keep track of them. You get both with the Photoshop Lightroom bundle for $10 per month.

  1. what operating system is installed on your computer?
  2 did you change your computer, after which the issue started?

  I recommend you to follow these steps and check if they help.

  Step 1:

  Open the printer Troubleshooter and check if this helps solve the problem.

  Step 2:

  Updated drivers from the manufacturer's Web site and check if this is useful.

  If the steps above do not help, I guess it takes to change some settings in the printer settings. Please consult the user manual, once more.

  HP Photosmart C4600 all in one printer, HP, Windows7 desktop. When I try to print copies of old black & white photos, on premium Matt paper or any document (I tried all), with settings for grayscale or black and white, printing starts OK (black & white) and soon begins to print with a reddish tint. I changed the cartridge back & White 3 times with the HP cartridges and the problem persists. I cleaned my print heads, the problem persists, I tried various other parameters without result.   When you print graphics color cartridges are usually used to print even black and white.  In addition, when printing on the paper color photo is always used as the pigmented black ink cartridge is not compatible with the photo paper.

  It would seem that your color ink runs out.  See the troubleshooting steps described in this page.  Most likely, you need a fresh color cartridge.

So, I removed the thumbnails and am just using the arrows for people to move through the images. I make different images each month. I want to just copy and paste the widget I put in place.   At the top right of your slide show you finde a little arrow that opens a menu of configuration. You will find the option "thumbnails."

  I tried to update my wife 5 c's iPhone but iTunes (version 12.4.3.1) kept saying unknown error (-50). I read that a possible problem might be something on an xml file in the pictures with a conflict or missing. I thought that this might be a good time to try my first restore with Time Machine. I thought I would restore Photos only a few hours of this day. While I was doing that in the middle of the restore, Time Machine was trying to make it's hourly backup and I got an exclamation point saying that he was unable to save. After the backup is complete, I tried to open the pictures and it says "library old Version, please update your library 'Photos' using iPhoto free library upgrade available at Apple. So I downloaded the file .dmg and still nothing. My Time Machine works again but the new backup, he's trying to back up my photo library. I know because I recognize the size of the backups as being the same size as my library of Photos. As a side question I was wondering if I could remove the migrated iPhotos library as whenever I click on it, more or less said that he has already been migrated, he discovers in a compatible version of Photos.   What did restore exactly the time Machine? You write "Restore Photos", indicating you restored the Photos app, but the error messages seem to apply to the photo library.  You have restored a library of old Photos?  If you restored the photo library, try to open it directly by double clicking it or dragging it to the Photos icon in the Dock.
