Relocation of PMB on Windows 7

I lost somehow PMB on Windows 7. Couldn't find it in the programs or functions of control panel of configuration-programs &. I inserted my original disk and the error message told me later, the original, it had updated, was already on the computer. Could not install the program.
There must be a work around. Help, please.

You have Windows Vista 32-bit and a Sony DCR-DVD403 with LCD 2.7 "...

According to the Windows Vista for Sony DCR-DVD403 Compatibility Center the device itself is compatible without any intervention on your part.  Support for any third party hardware or software is always from the hardware manufacturer or software.  It is their place to ensure that their hardware and software are compatible with the operating systems their customers use (or not to do - put an end to their support for said product and basically stating that produced a legacy package/device).

Visit Sony support web page and put in your camera model after you have selected the option for downloads, it takes a place where you can select various downloads.  Simply choose 'Windows Vista' in the menu drop-down "Select an Operating System.  Then it expans show several possible downloads to support this device in Windows Vista, including updates of Picture Motion Browser and Picture Package Sony feeding with their products.  Here are a few updates - so you will need to have a version already installed.

Notes for the Motion Picture Browser declares, "this utility updates PMB versions 1.1 to 5.8.01 and Cyber-shot Viewer version 1.0, PMB version 5.8.02..."- so I think it is reasonable to assume that, as long as you have an installed version (from the CD that came with your camera), you can use this update to bring it up to State fully patched.  Sony offers a link if you need to buy replacement CD for those that you should have received with your product.  Wow - 30 USD - they are proud of their software.  You may have more luck that many others in the research that a download legitimate to PMB is that you do not have your original CD...

  • Relocation of "upgrade of Windows 8 for Windows 8.1"

    Hello

I have a Windows 8 updgraded to 8.1 and now I want to reinstall Windows. As far as I know, I can't use my Windows 8 key to install Windows 8.1 directly (using 8.1 installation disk) without installing 8 first of all, then update. Windows update should also, the installation disc.

My question is, I can reinstall it using the option Update Windows and an 8.1 Windows installation disc? Or do I have to take a long way to reinstall 8 and then update manually?

Refreshing, it resets back to Windows 8. So may as well start from scratch and do a custom installation of Windows 8 on the current 8.1 Windows Installer, then Windows 8.1 update again.

To avoid having to do it again, create a custom refresh image:

  • How can I move my copy of windows 7 on another computer?

I bought a copy upgrade of windows 7 for my back when it first came out (my computer went on XP at the time). I am now to move to a new computer and want to transfer my operating system of windows 7 to the new machine. I can access is no longer the download link, although as microsoft.com does not recognize the email address I used to create the account, I used to buy the upgrade. When I bought the upgrade, it was part of a generation of students and may request a .edu address, if that's any help.

Whatever the case, I would like to know if there is a way I can retrieve my download link or move the files I need directly to the new computer (which is currently being worked on vista).

    Hello

If it's a retail license, Yes, you can move it to another computer as long as it is installed on a single computer at a time. The previous installation of Windows 7 must be formatted or deleted. You will have to perhaps call Microsoft and explain what happened to complete activation. Turn on the second computer will automatically deactivate the license for the first computer.
If you have any difficulties, activation of Windows 7 after the relocation to open the Windows Activation Wizard in Windows 7 to use the phone and activate Windows. During the Windows 7 installation at the entrance of your product keys page, do not enter your key and uncheck the "automatically activate when online.
    1. Click Start, and then in the search box type: slui.exe 4
    2. press enter on your keyboard
    3. Select your country.
    4. Select the option to activate the phone, then call and hold to a real person.
