  I have Storm (9500) and I tried a few hours transfer photos from my card to my PC media. Whenever I connect to Media Sync with my Storm, I get a message saying my device is not recognized and to ensure that the card is inserted correctly etc.

  Here's what I did and I still got the same message.

  Supported media card and reinserted it

  Out of the battery and reinserted it

  on all parameters (memory Options)

  Auto enable mass Sttorage Mode when connected is set to Yes

  Tried to connect to all the USB ports on the PC (I have 4)

  PC OS is Windows 7

  I checked all possible updates on BlackBerry (office, device and Media Sync) software, I have a completely storm in terms of software updates.

  So, if someone has experienced this problem and how do you propose fixing?

  I suggest making a backup with BB Desktop Software. Then, you can use it to do a selective removal of just the basis of message text and see if you can receive messages after that.   I ordered the Bold 9780 but I'm afraid, I had another model delivered instead (most likely the 9700). As they are almost identical in design, I have a very specific question on these 'key - separator lines' (don't no how else to call). I mean these horizontal lines between the rows of keys.

  One of the differences in the design seems to be that the 9700 separators has MONEY. They are much darker on the 9780, and certainly NO money--and that's what I ordered actually.

  I have a BB Bold 9900 and went to use a flashlight app already installed on the phone.  The phone closed and restarted.   When it started back I lost everything?  Don't know why or how.  What I'm concerneced everything becomes everything back.   I was able to recover images lost with a data recovery program.  That being said I'm sure I can do the same for the other missing information, contacts and emails etc...   What I can not find and have looked everywhere on the support forums is what is the name of the contacts folder and where he might be going through windows Explorer.   No, I was not smart enough to make a backup of the phone before it went then restore on a precedent to back up is completely out of the question.   Thanks in advance for any direction or help with my problem.
