• Impossible to add faces

  I use version 10.10.5 Yosemite and can't add Photos using faces. I had no problem doing this until I tried to do yesterday evening. The last time I tried to do it on April 25, 2016, I managed.   Simply type the name in the field name in the circle. You have not to press return. Just doubt click on the enlarged photo to return to the browser.

  The Return key is the shortcut to open the editor.

• How can I add faces in the Photos for my pet

  I just bought a new IMac with Photos and have not analyzed for all faces again because I have lots of photos. I want to add a face to my pet. I have a right-click and do "Get Info" and I have a selection to only add a Description, add a location, add a keyword and add a title.   You will need to enlarge the photo, then you will see a button "+" in the Info Panel to add a face.

  I had to reinstall my Mac (clean). I supported my library of Photos (with iCloud than on library) on an external drive. Then all deleted and reinstalled my system. After put my photo library and turning on iCloud, all my 4000 pictures started downloading (and duplication) iCloud even they were already there. I had to stop this, delete my backup of the library of Photos and all photos were downloaded from iCloud. It would have been nice if I lose all my face tags (I spent a lot of time with) so how can I do the next time that when reinstalling my Mac?

  It do exactly what you did the first time. Make a backup of your library of photos on an external drive and copy this library back to restore.

  The pictures will download all the photos again and compare with iCloud photo library. It will not recognize the library restored as the same library it used before, but she uses a detection duplicates to prevent adding duplicates. It will take as long as the initial download.

  If you start with a library empty projects and thumbnails of faces will be lost.  (Use pictures and iCloud library on several Macs - Apple Support)  But the restored Library searchable faces tags. You can still search the faces you assigned previously and use to recreate thumbnails of faces more quickly.

  Do a right click or Ctrl-click on the photo and choose to make the Photo of key in the menu, or highlight the photo and use SHIFT-command-K on the keyboard, or highlight the photo and choose to make the Photo key under Image on the menu.

  Like edit photos by adding a frame or edge to photo.  Some programs to call them "cookie cutter shapes.  Adding frame would be like a soft edge while the main body is strong.

• How to locate those containing the tag photos recognized face?

  in the adobe site, there's a tutorial on this new feature. based on this video, in the keywords, you should see an additional tab look for people tags. I have not yet tested who.

  I have 100 photos to canvas art which must be 980 x 450. All photos are free-form cropped and none alike, including orientation to portrait and landscape.

  You can create a lot of action two simple steps of all files.

  Action step 1 file menu > Automate > Fit Image...  In the adjustment dialog image set, height, and width 980 pixels 450 pixels.  These settings will be saved in the action stage.  When the action is used has played that stage does not display a dialog box instead of the width in pixels 980 registered setting and 450 pixels height is used by the plug-in image adapt.  All the image keeps their Aspect ratios and be resized to fit the area of 980x480pixel.

• Faces in the Photos is not properly synchronized on Mac

• How unidentify faces in the photos 2.0

  In Photos 2.0, when you go to: people > Add: how to get rid of the faces of all the people I do not know and do not want to identify? I have grouped all the faces of my friends and my family. But everything is there on the left are still unidentified faces. Some of them are not even people that the app was wrong and some places are all gray when it is supposed to be a face!

  You can make all the favourites wanted faces and check hen show only Favorites

  Currently there is a bug, but after it is fixed you can open the pictures and click the x to remove the face (this now leaves so expect a face empty in your suggestions)
