  Hi all,

  Can someone tell me if there is a way to predefine a specific command to use when a matter of sequence type appears for the first time to the learner?

  This type of question (sequence, with the Type of response 'Drag Drop') uses a 'Shuffle answers' default option (there is no need to check an option to do so that no such option is provided), 'good order' may appear initially to the learner, like all other orders...

  In other words, I would like to put an incorrect order (to be displayed when the question is displayed on the screen) so that the learner is forced to drag the answers to get the correct order.

  spent 4 hours dialing photos I wanted to in order when I played it on dvd they where out of sequence, please help end of my tether

  Batch numbering so perhaps would be worth a try:

  Organize files the way you want and go to... Edition / select all.

  Right-click the photo 'first' the selected (highlighted)
  Group and from the menu choose... Name change.

  For the first name... Come in...

  Summer vacation (10001) .jpg

  (Yes... Use parentheses and start the number with a 1)
  (If you want to add a descriptive title to batch... Leave a
  space after the last letter and before the first parenthesis)

  Press on... Enter and Windows renames the remaining photos...

  Summer vacation (10004) .jpg

• Before the test Questions Captivate 8

  I use Adobe Captivate 8 and I've added a question 3 before the test.  I edited the first issue and made my questions multiple choice that I went to the second issue of pre-test and that of prestest #1 appears in the pre-test, #2 and #3.  Why - what is duplicate my original question on all the other before the test?  I have no idea how to get rid of on pre-test #2 and #3.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  So weird. Then try: delete preferences. Close the project, locate the CleanPreferences file that is appropriate for your system in the subfolder "Utils" of the captivate installation folder and run it. Then restart Captivate. Are you running it as an administrator (if you are using Windows)?

  

• photos out of sequence in LR 6. I think the reason is b/c I forgot to program time in the new camera. Help!

  This never happened with my previous camera and the previous version of LR.  I recently updated my camera, as well as LR (from PC version 2 for PC version 6).  I just took over a thousand photos at a wedding and once they import into LR they are out of sequence. I tried to arrange time to sort of control/capture, etc., but without success.  It wasn't until I looked at the right column in library mode that I noticed pictures all say the same date and time (year 2000, 12:00 time).  I then realized that I had forgotten to schedule the date and time when I bought my camera. He is the only thing that I can find.  And I really hope there is a way to fix.  Edition will be a TOTAL nightmare if not.   Please, someone help.  Thank you very much in advance...

  In your first post, you said ALL of them have EVEN enter the date and the hour of 12:00 2000.   If this is the capture time saved that with a TIME EDIT CAPTURE will not help your problem at all.  Change changes just at the time of capture the time and date of each photo, of a fixed amount and from your pictures have the same original capture times they will have identical adjusted capture time.  Sort by FILE NAME must have worked unless you did a name change when importing.  If this is the case you are out of luck unless you still have the original files on the card from the camera.

• Area 51 R2 - controller Dual HDD - Intel Rapid Storage questions

  I have here a system of area 51 R2 (new). After power on, I went to check the options available in the bios. I was surprised to see that there is no way to change the way Intel SATA AHCI/RAID controller that I found bizarre. After installing the OS on the SSD while keeping the HARD disk as a data disk, I noticed that the system comes with 2 different controllers.

  The first, running in AHCI mode, is an Intel C600 + / C220 + party controller, while the secondary is a onboard Intel RAID controller mode normal (can not get the exact chip). It seems that the STRANGE and the two SSD 2.5 "put in place (SATA4 and SATA5) are plugged into the controller AHCI while the other 3 3.5" HDDs (SATA1, SATA2, SATA3) slots connectors are all on the SATA RAID controller.

  While this will create a RAID with any installed HARD or SSD installed in slots 3.5 "drive, you cannot create a RAID of 2 2.5" SSD or HARD drive using their location designed in the case. And if you want to create an SSD RAID, you need to get your readers to a location 3.5 "using 2.5" to 3.5 "adapter.

  FIRST QUESTION:
  -Why are there 2 different controllers instead of using only one? Why not as another system, use a simple controller 6 SATA3 ports. If it is of split the possible performance for the SSD's in RAID AHCI mode on hard drives, which almost locks to make an SSD RAID by using the default locations. I know you can just reroute/reconnect the SATA connectors to make it fit, but it's just extra Needless to work on the system.

  SECOND QUESTION:
  -Why we cannot change or the other controllers in the bios mode? What happens if I want to have 2 x SSD in RAID mode for my games while having 2 x HDD also in RAID for my OS? I can't because everything is divided into 3 / 3 for ports and no way to make 2 different RAID systems unless I have buy a 3rd party RAID PCI-e card and use instead.

  Now, here's something else, I discovered. Both controllers have need for different type of Intel Rapid Storage has to be installed, but you can not get either to work along with the other application. The C600 + / C220 + controller requires Intel Rapid Storage Company install the driver 'correct' and the application will run only if you disable the RAID controller.   The RAID controller on the other side requires normal Intel Rapid Storage install the driver and application. The application will run only if the driver generic windows is installed for the AHCI controller or is installed when you install the Intel Chipset inf utility (showing C610 / X 99 AHCI controller). The application will launch and show all 3 of the hard disks connected to the RAID controller. It will crash if you try to run it when the driver IWH suitable for the installed AHCI controller.

  What is the idea behind this? This whole business of 2 controller, you cannot change the AHCI/RAID mode on either and only 3 ports for each controller. In addition both controlled by different versions of Intel Rapid Storage and you can not have both installed at the same time so you have to use generic on one or the other drivers if you want to use them. Looks like this last generation of Alienware were not really thought to become with the creation of the weird storage options (which includes the option WITHOUT RAID for R2 of Alienware systems 15/17) which locks the user away from opportunities that other less expensive systems (XPS/optiplex) have at the base!

  It's really disappointing. I have a R4 M17x at home (which was 3D until the video card update) and I'm still in love with this laptop, but I continue to be discouraged in buying any of the new States with all these weird things being disabled or locked down the value of the systems.

• Can I import 50 photos in a sequence with 1 s duration each, as batch?

  Hi guys,.

  Noobie here complete with Premiere Pro, I'm looking to create an intro video that is simply a sequence to the fast pace of photos.

  I have about 50 pictures to import, I would like to batch add them all with a default value of 1 s duration (or less).

  I need this is because it is a lot of your time to go one by one and then adjust the starting point to match 1 s (instead of 5 seconds by default).

  I came to the top with a hack myself that works pretty well, post here for all the world to see.

  I import all the images, I can drag the mouse to select all, right click > speed/duration and adjust there, have also the box "Ripple deleting" checked so that you don't have the gaps between.

• Problems with importing the photos in a sequence of images!

  Hi all

  Just at work and we are a big enough time photography project that another colleague and I are editing in Adobe Premiere. Having gathered a wide selection of images, we decided it was time to have a go doing a first edition. Opens the first and made a new etc project and have done a couple of practice runs with different pictures, but I opened the photos (file/import) and then tried to import all the images but I can't check "Image Sequence", which is grayed out. Anyone know why? I assumed it was due to the fact that it was their import on an external drive but I put them on the MacBook in order to ensure, but it would not always be to import them. I then tried to import less photos at once always for nothing doesn't.

  Be flat ideas just thought I would ask what I consider experts with more knowledge than me for a helping hand! Thanks in advance to anyone who can help you with what is a work project that I am eager to start as soon as possible!

  You select all the photos?

  To import as a sequence of images, simply choose the first image in the sequence. Yes IMG_001 (or whatever your equivalent).

  I tried this on my mac and it worked fine using the same convention of naming as yourself.

  So, just choose the first image and the image sequence checkbox should be selectable.

  I created a Captivate questionnaire with 25 questions. Questions are drawn at random from a group of 130, and the issues are choice Multiple or more than one answer.

  I took the quiz on our Moodle site, but seems to have a problem with the score. Captivate is to give 10 points for each question that is answered correctly. Is it possible to change this to 1 point per good question?

  You can adjust the number of points awarded for each question on the issue of properties inside Captivate.  The default value is 10 points, but you can set it to any integer.

  I use fast down a bit lately.  I use CTRL + Space keys, CTRL + I to insert the screws in the existing threads, but time ago were it's faster for me to slide the screw from the palette on the block diagram.

  Someone at - it a rapid drop plugin that allows you to select a VI and a thread and automatically the wires together?  For example, it would be nice if I could choose a VI with terminals of the error and the thread of the error and allows you to automatically link their rapid fall.

  When I make the first file in my editing, the video and audio appear. When I try to bring the next clip, I get only the audio from the clip. I thought maybe the file was bad, so I recorded one party to test the theory. To put in the new file, I had the same problem. If I create a new sequence of the new video, I get audio and video. • 8 - Drag and Drop - Bounce Back answers that are out of sequence of Captivate

  Sorry if it's addressed somewhere, but my search results find anything. I'm building a drag and drop in which objects should be waived in order in various targets. I can get an object of bounce if it fell in the wrong place, but I also want the object to bounce back if it broke down (in the wrong order). For example, if point 2 fell in the right place, but in the wrong order, it will be returned. But I can't find an option for that. Any ideas? Thank you!

  I don't think there's a way to get there. Only drag sources that cannot be accepted by a drop target can be bounced. But with the sequence, the drag source must be accepted even if it is not in the correct order.

• Photo of organizing elements Question

  I am new to the Organizer.  It provides just a catalog of images on my hard drive or is it actually moving them to other folders so I create them?

  Organizer does not move your photos unless you tell her. So, normally the pictures are left there where they are. In addition, your pictures are not stored in the Organizer; they are stored on your drive hard when you put - Organizer is simply a database that knows (among others) where are the pictures.

  If you want to use Organizer, I suggest you use tags, captions and notes to organize your pictures and to help you search for them at a later date. This, in my opinion, offers organizng capabilities which are not present in your operating system and translates into a more powerful organization than what you can get using folders.

  If you plan to use the Organizer to simply allow you to find your photos in any folder, they might be in, or move photos/files from here to there, then I suggest you don't bother. Why? Because you can do this in your operating system and the interface is more familiar and powerful and made less work (you don't have to import the photos in the Organizer) and fewer restrictions. In addition, if everything you do to organize your photos is to move the pictures to a specific folder, you can still do this in your operating system and most importantly you can never be MORE organized in organizer that you can use your operating system. What I'm saying can be summarized as follows: using Organizer for organization of file only is more work for very little benefit. If you do use folders as your organizing tool, use the organizer at all, just use the editor from PSE. Using the organizer for the Organization of the legend/tag/note has the big advantage.

• Timer remains on all the slides in question (Captivate 5)

  I created a quiz with 20 questions and you want to limit users have 10 minutes to complete.

  The build in widget shows only a slide...

  Anyone know how to create a timer that maintains the counting and will stay on each question slides?

  Hello

  If you want to display the timer and restart on each slide, add it to the slide master. If you want the calendar for the full amount of slides, add it to the first Question slide and set it to show to the rest of the project. If you must get rid of the timer later (after the slides in question), you'll have to hide using an action at the entrance to the first slide where you won't see the widget of the timer.
