  Hmmm, your question was really different from my interpretation. You want to know what is the goal, the design of the front test?

  The pre-test design is for a specific purpose: allow the user to perform a previous test, in order to create a personalized navigation based on the pre-test score. This custom navigation is created using the pre-test action, that you can change with the button in the part of the Actions of the Group Quiz for slides before the test. There is a base in place, but you must change the slides to go to in situations of success/failure. You can also extend the conditional action with more than two branches based on the outcome of the score before the test. You will see that the system variable, I mentioned in my first reply is used in this action.

  On my pleading, the Adobe team said before the more variable test system after the first version (6?), to make it possible to create a true score slip to show the result to the user. I assumed that you already have my table updated with system variables in CP8, you will find the explanation of these variables of pre-test in the table.

  As you know SCORM requires that each course has only one Quiz, and that score is deferred. The pre-test was designed to produce a workflow easier to have such a "pre-test", but his score is not declared to the LMS (unless LMS accepts the values of the variables), only the score of the true quiz.

  Another tip: open the advanced all Interaction Panel by this (Project menu). You will see all the objects marked here, and you will see that all the scores of question slide are automatically added to the total score.

  This Panel is dynamically linked to the properties and Quiz panels. Choose a question you want to activate in a version not reported in this Panel. Look in the properties panel for the 'Déclaration' part and uncheck the report option (see screenshot, it is reported):

  

  You will immediately see the result in Advanced Interaction, and the Total score will be decremented.

  I have a pre-test and a quiz.  Questions before the test and quiz questions are part of the same quiz experience.  Must be like that for technical reasons, can't just be quiz.

  What you see is simply a limitation of what can make the current application.

  When Adobe added the feature of pre-test, it don't was NOT set up to do exactly what you are wanting.  It is not get included in the Quiz review mode.  There is nothing you can really do about it.

  My suggestion would be getting your first questions included in review Quiz (because they are all part of the same quiz) but as I have already said a few times, Captivate only sees a quiz.

  If you don't like the way it works, feel free to record an enhancement request and wait a few versions.  You can get lucky.

• Setting a conditional Action for pre-test questions: skip content slides

  I want to implement a prescriptive pre-test. In my ideal world, the answers to each individual question would either enable or disable the content related to the question slides. If the user passes the pre-test, they might opt to skip the prescriptive stuff and complete the course. If the user fails the pre-test, they should consult the active content.

  Will try to explain how I would try to handle this use case, but I didn't try it!

  • For the first condition, you already have a system variable which can be used in conditional actions to check if the user has passed the pre-test. If you use ordinary question slides, cpQuizInfoPassFail will be set to 1 if it is adopted, the value 0 as var is full only after the last slide in the question. If you use slides before the test, you will need to create a variable user, which you can fill with a tip action, based on the value of cpQuizIntoPretestPointsscored or cpQuizInfoPretestScorePercentage.
  • To follow the questions they did correctly, you must create a variable user for each slide of the issue, default = 0. Based on the system variable cpQuizInfoLastSlidePointScored, which is completed after each slide of the question, you can switch the variable user of the slide of the previous to 1 question if this sys var is greater than 0. This can be done by an action at the entrance to each slide of the question. You will need such action on enter also immediately after the last question slide (maybe on a blade of results, where you can also put the appropriate button to switch the content slides, or offer the possibility to go back).
  • For each slide content you will need another (conditionala tip enter action. Condtion will check the value of cpQuizInfoPassFail (or the equivalent for the slides before the test) AND the value of the var related to this question slide. If both are positive, ignore the slide (go to the next slide), if not, just stay on the slide. That action will be the same for all the slides in content related to a question. But another question, you will need a duplicate, because another user variable will be there. If you use CP7, this is an excellent example for joint actions.

• Captivate 8 button Retake Quiz - return to the slide of the wrong question

  I have not yet fixed my problem of button retake quiz. I have a project with several questions of practices not classified (hot spot, drag n drop, 2 several multiple choice answers) followed by 9 questions 'real' test. I want students to return 'true' test questions when they click on the recovery test button. Now, the recovery quiz button brings back me to the first multiple choice question in the practical section - not the first 'real' test question.

  In the Interactions for the first multiple choice question (and the 2nd as well), I see that nothing appears in the neck to include in the questionnaire and responses report = no, but an entry appears in Objective ID and ID of Interaction. I don't see this credential anywhere in the QUIZ tab - I wonder if this is what pushed the button quiz in this slide.

  

  Attempt to correct:

  I saw the response of Lilybiri to "Captivate 8 resume Quiz" entry. It seemed like the perfect solution to my problem. So I created an Action conditional Advanced:

  If cpQuizInfoAttempts is greater than 1 go to (1 'real' test slide #) continue on the other

  The 'real' 1 slide test I put this conditional action on enter.

  You must have read my response wrong. Condition is OK, but you have to trigger on enter for the first issue of practice, not on the first slide of the real issue. As the recovery button will take the user to the first practical question slide, this action will be evaluated and the jump to the first slide of the real question occur. Assumed, here are that all the slides in practice before all the question slides.

  After the above software testing on my Windows 7 PC, I try to install it on a MacBook Pro (end of 2012), OS X 10.8.5.

  Apple support gave me the usual suggestions of all the things I had already experienced: rights in the servicetool disk repairs; reset to full rights after starting as a single user (root) mode (CMD + S); manipulate the sudoers file, etc. None of these methods have no help.

  I was not that happy at apple, they tried to argue that it is a matter of third parties and is not a problem of their OS. It's understandable though, as through all this time I was able to install other software like adobe reader for mozilla firefox at any time.

  In the end, I reinstalled OSX after making sure of my data and settings. After that, install Adobe Acrobat worked without any problems.

  The amazing thing for me: I didn't have to restore one of my programs, data or settings, even if I'm working on an SSD with the system and all the files not intermingled, no partitioning. That's new for me coming from a windows system. It comes to click a few buttons, I didn't even touch a CD. 1 to 2 hours later the machine was just as before, only the question of the rights of the user is over now. Pretty amazing.

  However, the root cause of the problem remains unexplained.

  It should work very well until the application is released. All you need is a target of special appeal. If your application does not appear, it is likely that your target is not configured correctly.

  I'm sorry but that's how the random questions are indeed fixed, once they are selected from the pool. Recovery would never use new random questions.

  I use 8 Captivate. I have a couple of question slides I inserted just to review, but I don't want their cash for the quiz at the end, because they are just review and not be marked. I had issues "survey" thinking that might do the trick but when I created the final quiz that start with question 3 of 8. Is there a way to have just the review questions and ask them to not be marked not or 'count' to the final quiz at the end of the course?

  Some system quizzing variables will include all of the marked objects and question slides. Even if some question slides are not included in the total. I'm sorry, but you will need to create a custom progress indicator, here's a blog where I explained how:

  Hello. On December 2, 2013, I backed up my instance of database with RMAN with Oracle Linux 5 HRCS90. the backup of the database to run correctly. 2 files 'full_0doqhbqc_13_1' and 'full_0eoqhce9_14_1' are saved in the /backup_database_instance_HRCS90 directory.

  
  Because my HRCS90 database has been damaged, I need to restore the database to HRCS90 until the time 02-Dec_13 when it is saved. I have run the commands below:

  RMAN > RUN {SET until TIME ' to_date (February 12, 2013: 00:04:56 ',' DD-MM-YYYY: HH24:MI:SS') ";} RESTORE THE DATABASE ;}

  Its release: complete the restore to February 11, 14.
