I can't connect with my computer. I use good USB connecors.

=====================================
OK... something to try...

Connect the camera to the computer via a USB cable and
Turn on the camera.

Reach... Start / computer / removable devices
Storage...

Look at the drive letters and see if one of them
represents the camera. He can say removable disk

If the camera is recognized... right click on the drive letter
and from the menu choose... Open or explore.

The directory of the memory card in the camera must
poster and if you browse through the various
files, you must find the photo files.

Once found... you can copy/paste the pictures in a folder
on your hard drive.

Simple and the best solution IMHO is to use an internal
or external USB memory card reader.

It will not drain your camera batteries and can be faster.
FWIW... download from the camera when batteries
can be low after a long photo shoot could result
corrupted photos.

  • Code received the error 80004005 When you try to import photos and video from the camera in Windows Live Photo Gallery.

Spent several hours in technical support with gun tries to resolve to not be able to download pictures from the camera to my Win XP computer.   Usually the computer detects the camera and demand "How would you import pictures?" and the list of shows in one window.   We don't get any list in this window, but only managed to fill the window briefly for WLPG to detect the photos and video, but when we went to import, we received the 8004005 error.   Thereafter, things have regressed, and we're back to not get any answer computer saying that it detects pictures or video - nothing.   But back to square one.

There are two issues here - likely related: unable to import photos and videos and the 80004005 error.   Who came first and is there cause and effect here, and which way should we go?  Inquiring minds want to know - and being able to import photos and video of the camera Canon Powershot A3100IS again.

After hours Technical Support Canon was completely blocked and indicated that it was probably an OS problem with my computer.

Thanks for all your great suggestions.    I finally solve the problem, but I don't know exactly what fixed it.   I ended up running CCleaner (latest version) and make a 'windows', 'applications' and cleaning of "registry".   This needed a re-boot, and when I rebooted, it's when I could finally download the pictures from the camera.    Not exactly what fixed the problem, but there may be here spirits who may be able to say, ' Yes, with blah, blah, blah, you did...» ».

As far as I know that is a lot of sterile technical support hours and re - install the software and then, finally, runing CCleaner paid off.    I will record your information in case I need it in the future... Thanks again.

  • Well when I transfer my videio and/or photos from my camera sd card, when the transfer images will open in Windows Live Photo Gallery with pictures showing as a large icon.

Well when I transfer my videio and/or photos from my camera sd card, when the transfer images will open in Windows Live Photo Gallery with pictures showing as a large icon. My photos are stored on my HP-Pavilion(E:).) drive

But after that when I click on the drive C: E: MyPictures they open as a flower tile. I can go to the top, then click on view and then large icon and they will change to display an icon of the photo. But the next time I go in this same folder they showup new slot-shaped sticker flower. I can go through the same process and click the show the big icon and they will change to a large icon image.

It was that all of my photos, at all times, remained as a large icon all the time. Something has changed this feature.

Now I can go to the libraries, photos, My Pictures(E:) et cliquez sur n'importe quel dossier et le dossier s'ouvre avec les images dans ce dossier, montrant une image de grande icône.)

Something has changed at the sight of my photos in the folder that contains photos. I can't stay on display large icons.

    or

How to organize and archive files

Allows you to do this by using the organizational tools built into Windows 7. The first place wherever I start looking at is my downloads folder since I do a lot of downloading.

In order to properly analyze what we can, keep and move to an external hard drive, we'll use the menu to change the view . Click on the menu to change the view, and then click details.

You will notice that your files are organized with more details. To further customize the view, click the Date Modified column header. This will allow us to view the files when they were used or last edited. Another column, I recommend that you post is the Date created column.

Right-click on the column heading, and then click on created.

This will give us a better idea of the age of the file and if its worth keeping.

Looking through my downloads folder, I have files going back to the beginning of 2007 and the last time that I accessed them were in 2007. Certainly not useful to keep on disk. If these files will be archived and moved to my external hard drive.

    Archiving

Obviously, to do something like that, you're going to need an external hard drive. You could choose DVD as a backup method, but they can be unreliable and more a chore, especially with the permutation of the disc in question. Once you have identified the files you need to Archive, open your external hard drive and create a folder specially for these files called Archive.

Open it and then go back to the (window) folder where your old files are currently on your local hard drive. Select the files, and then click organize > copy

Return to the folder Archive (window) we have created on the external hard drive, and then click organize > then click Paste

Please wait while files are copied to. Once this done, go back to the folder and click on organize > delete or press Delete on your keyboard.

Simplify the file selection and copy

If you want to select files in a date range, just select the first file then click on any file within the range, see below:

Repeat these steps for the other records of the person such as Documents, music, photos and videos. When you are finished archiving, you can move to permanently delete these files from your bin if all are stored:

I was able to recover coupons 10 GB worth of disk space only from my only download folder.

  • All my photos are copying through downloading from my iPhone using Windows Explorer

    Hello

To download my photos, I plug my iPhone 6 on my Windows 7 computer and cut and paste in Windows Explorer.

But I noticed that about 1 to 2% of photos are not copy across properly. There will be files for some of them, but when you click on it you can preview or view the image.

For awhile I was trawl through all the photos and re - compose the individual files which do not have copied through & this resolve. But it is incredibly tedious (I take a lot of pictures).

Is there a better way to get a large number of photos on my phone?

    Thank you

    Hello there, bunnygirlxxx.

Looks like you are trying to find another way to import photos from your iPhone 6. The following Knowledge Base article provides an option to import photos from your iPhone:

Import photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT201302

    Import into your PC

You can import pictures to your PC to connect your device to your computer and using Windows Photo Gallery:

    1. Connect your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to your PC with a USB cable.
    2. You need to unlock your iOS device using your access code.
    3. You can also see a prompt on the device iOS asking you to Trust This Computer. Tap trust or allow to continue.

Then, follow the steps described in these Microsoft Knowledge base articles for how to import pictures in Windows Photo Gallery:

When you import videos from your iOS device to your PC, some might rotate correctly in the Windows Photo Gallery. You can add these videos to iTunes to play them in the right direction.

Photos and videos that sync you from your computer on your device iOS through iTunes can be imported to your computer.

Know what to do If you can not import pictures from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your computer.

Thank you for reaching out to the communities of Apple Support.

    Kind regards.
