Photos retouched not showing in Indesign CC PDF

I created a page layout in Indesign, and I placed an image of a soldier in uniform. I can see in my PDF, but my client says he can't in his when I e-mail. So I sent an email - yup - soldier not there and myself.

I'm trying to figure out what I did wrong. Here's what I did:

I took the pix of the soldier in photoshop and removed the background. I saved as .psd and imported my InDesign layout. I went to effects and put a small feather around the photo to soften the edges. High quality PDF creation.

That's all. What I am doing wrong?

Most likely your client tries to view the PDF in his email or his web browser, or a a standard as PDF reader preview for Mac. These PDF readers are not enough to look at the complex graphics.

If necessary, give him a link to download the free Adobe Reader and view the PDF file there.

Question: ICC profiles do not show in InDesign CS3

    OS: Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit

    Details:

Tested two computers with InDesign CS3 and both had the problem.  Tested another computer with InDesign CS4 and this has also had the problem.

I tried to add ICC profiles to the following locations, restart Windows each time.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\color

    C:\windows\syswow64\spool\drivers\color

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Color\Profiles

    C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\Color\Profiles\Recommended

We would like to add printer profiles appears in the management section of the color of the dialog print InDesign box (see image below).  Unfortunately the added printer profiles only show up when the printers with PPD (Postscript Printer Description) files are selected.  In the past, we can select our own printer profiles and profiles of OEM printer for non-postscript printers in the drop-down list.

    ICC_Profiles.png

Hold on tight. I never saw a CMYK profile in this list unless a postscript device is selected as the printer, nor vice versa. Are you sure you saw CMYK profiles for RGB composite devices?

  • High quality download Facebook - Photos do not show

11 items on a 64-bit Windows 8 computer.  I can upload photos on Facebook using the standard quality with no problems.

However, if I select the high quality option, the download seems to work, I get the progress bar and the message and if I select a new album album is created on Facebook, but the album is empty and the photos do not appear anywhere in the newly created album etiher, or in an existing album so that was selected.

Moose files are jpg about 7.5 MB in size.

Is there a special trick to be applied to make it work.

    (1) create a new folder on Facebook and make sure you have checked the box that says high quality (see this picture)

    (2) now download your photos/Album and you're done.

  • some of my photos do not show to the iMovie media browser

I'm working on a project in iMovie 10.1.2 using media of a 1.5 Photo album that I took on my iPhone 6plus.

The media in iMovie browser shows all the photos that are in the album. All of the photos are visible on the Photo, but a lot are missing when displayed in the browser of iMovie media.

    Tried to restart it, nothing.

Tried to mark the missing photos as Favorites in the Photo, and then click Favorites instead of all media to iMovie research field, nothing.

The only thing is that when I tried to apply transitions all I received a message that "the clips do not have enough media for the transition." but I managed to manually insert all the transitions.

The problem with transitions is because you didn't "handles" on some video clips. Clips video to have the alternative media outside the portion of the element that you use to build the transition. Not a problem with pictures. Just select a part of the clip leaving 1s on each side when you add to the timeline. This question is not related to your media missing in the photo album. As for the missing media is video or pictures, or both, that are not displayed? Using iCloud library in Photos app? The correct procedure is to select Photo library in the library list, and then select my albums in the menu drop-down. Is that what you did?

  • Camara photos do not show when plug into the computer's time a 2nd

If I plug my camara to the computer and show the image files and now when I plug it for the second time that the file showed that copy and the custom of photos to display at all in my computer or any other computer. who is wrong?

Does this have to do with Internet Explorer 9? In any case...

    Please provide:

    -brand and model of the camera;

    -format of images, for example,. JPG or. NAVE;

-the version of Windows you are using.

There is usually a setting in the camera software on the PC that allows deletion of files on the camera after the files have been transferred. If you have not enabled then whenever you connect your camera, it will transfer all the files on the camera again.

In regards to pictures displayed, this may be due pictures in a raw owner who is not recognized by Windows 7, unless you install the codec from a specific manufacturer. Try making sure that your device is set to take the files. JPG or. Format JPEG as Windows will recognize these (or install the codec).

  • LR5 import problem: Photos do not show in the import window

When you try to import CR2/JPEG files in LR5, import window shows empty records even though I can see the files in windows Explorer.  I also importing them from different places (from the camera, memory card, hard drive) and is always in white.  The kicker is I can open / import them by canon DPP and LR 4.4.

Here are the details of my system:

    • Tested on Windows 7 64 bit
    • Administrative account running without any permission problem
    • I have uninstalled/installed LR5 several times that does not solve the problem
    • I tried to import a upgrade to my existing LR4.4 catalog and also with a new catalog.

I created a video that captures my normal workflow.  As you can see, LR5 can not see one (CR2 and JPG) pictures of the card memory or hard drive but LR4.4 can see both of them without any problem.  Any help would be great.

I do not read that you have atttempted reset your preferences file. That would be my next step in troubleshooting. (or-trashing-)-the-lightroom-preferences-fichier http://www.lightroomforums.NET/showthread.php?14226-resetting-

Sometimes, the chart is displayed when I move my mouse over it, but the thumbnail is still not displayed.

Someone has an idea of what's going on with this browser?

  • Lumix GX7 RAW photos do not show in the RAW format in photoshop

Have pscc.  Lumix GX7 photos in JPEG format when opened in RAW format.  I downloaded 9.1 CR.  How do I know if CR 9.1 is actually installed, seemed fine.  Jim

    So, that's the problem.

If you try to open a raw photo library camera photo, then it will be a jepg.

(if you try to save as a jpeg in your photo library, which can damage the library)

You must export images files in camera raw in the inside of the Photos.app

(Photos doesn't have an Edit in External Editor like iPhoto does)

Select the files camera raw, and then go to file > export > export Unmodified Original

  • LR 5: Photo edits not showing in the main window of the develop module

I installed earlier LR5, convert my LR3 catalog to the catalog LR5. Everything seems to be okay. I took a picture and converted to the 2012 process. The new sliders appeared.

The problem: the changes I made are seen only in the browser window, not the main window. I thought that it should be a simple solution, but I scoured the web and cannot find anyone with similar problems. Any ideas?

OK, I feel a little sheepish. I closed LR, then reopened. No problem. I've converted another picture and could see the changes in the main window - without restarting LR.

  • Photos does not detect iPhone

I've recently updated my 2010 MacBook Pro at El Capitan (10.11) and several problems with the forced migration in iPhoto for pictures.

Previously, I've kept my iPhoto on a HDD library external Western Digital. Yesterday, I threw some Photos while holding down the Option key and imported all my photos in the iPhoto library on disk external HARD in Photos.

Now I would like to import photos from my iPhone 5s in Photos. When I plug my phone into my laptop with a USB cable, however, nothing happens. Photos do not show my phone, still less the opportunity to import pictures of her. I tried a soft reboot of my iPhone, but that has not changed anything. I don't think I have iCloud sharing to set up Photos, nor what I want.

    Thanks much for any help.

    What size is the drive

Exactly what you were doing - launch while the option key is pressed does not matter or move whatever it is - it just gives you a window to select another library or start a new library is empty

< p > welcome on our new website www.mmaamateurleaguereporter.infomagazine. We are a collective group of MMA fighters, trainers, coaches, judge, developers, game makers and die hard fans. PLEASE HELP ME!

When I try to directly access the lack of pictures http://www.mmaamateurleaguereporter.info/Cage%20Championships.jpg I get Page not found.

Missing images have not been downloaded or they were transferred to the wrong directory on your server.

PS: %20 in a filename is a space (such as pressing the SPACEBAR on your keyboard). Avoid spaces in file names on the web because of the way that different different servers in front of them. Worst case, your Web page fails in whole or in part. Use hyphens (-) or underscore (_) traits instead of the spaces.

  • Problem: export Indesign pdf does not show pictures

    Hello

Earlier this week I asked something of the master (Indesign) thanks to your answers that I could quickly finish my book!

But now another problem occurred: when I export my indesign layout in pdf format, a few jpeg images (first scanned into the computer, put it in indesign) are being shown really good in indesign, but export, only half of the image! I wonder why...

I downloaded a Wordfile instead of the original pdf file because of size. In the wordfile you can see 3 simple viewed pages 49,54 and 55.

The photos are hand drawn and scanned, but they do not appear in Indesign, then why (some) not in pdf format? Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Mirjam

Scanning and using Word may be part of the problem. When you say 'cut' do you mean to put in the Clipboard, and then paste in InDesign, or do you mean "reframe" like cutting off the unwanted image parts?

Can you analyze the images and record directly to disk in jpeg or tiff? It is best to use a good image like Photoshop Editor to clean scans, but if this is not available, you can "Place" the images directly in InDesign and do your cropping it.
