Photoshop CC 2014: Lack of oil paint filter and no access to the extensions and plugins? Where did they go?

A few days ago and just opened for the first time, I downloaded PS CC 2014. The oil paint filter is no longer listed in the menu filter. She was deleted in this 'update '? I hope not because that I use it through my workflow and as a step in most of the Actions I have developed to produce my signature style.

Also, my Extensions and the Exchange is blocked; IE Extensions is grayed out in the window > Extensions menu drop-down. This means that I can't use my watermarks.

In order to use all the features of the PS CC and CC 2014, I have to save my work and open it in the other version, then demote to apply a watermark. Very annoying!

Any idea would be appreciated.

In Camera Raw, the button to switch between pre and Validating adjustments in the active adjustment Panel has been restored, a good thing, but it should not be removed in the previous "update."

Thank you

I just read an Adobe Exchange help page that solved the problem with extensions and modules.

Here's the article: Adobe Exchange

It now appears that the CC app controls the timing of your modules with PS CC 2014. So open creative cloud, click on the tab files and make sure synchronization is enabled. This can also be confirmed and displayed/hidden power in creative Cloud.

  • Oil paint filter grayed out after updating Photoshop CC2015.1

I opened raw and tiff and jpg files. I duplicated the background layer. Tried two 8 and 16 bits. I converted to smart filter. The oil paint filter is always grey. Am I missing something?

Yes, looks like this card supports up to OpenCL 1.0 according to "clgpu [0]." CLDeviceVersion = "CUDA 1.0" "in the system information.

You will need a graphics card and a driver graphics card which supports OpenCL 1.1. https://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop/KB/Photoshop-CC-GPU-card-FAQ.html#topic-3

  • Wlhich is the last Photoshop that has the oil paint filter?

Who is the most recent Photoshop that has the filter of the oil it painting?  What is CS6?   or CC?

  • Don't know what version of Photoshop to get, I need the oil paint filter.

I am a new designer and class, I did some really cool stuff with paint filter oils and I LOVE IT, it will be a large part of the style I want to develop but I'm on a test of CC and it isn't here! I did my homework and found out that apparently the latest version of CC has eliminated the great filter! Go figure!

I want this BAD filter, then, what are my best options?

Adobe has so many products and versions that I am really confused about what to get.

So should I get CS6? Or y at - it an older version of CC who has the oil paint filter?

I saw somewhere, there is a filter of painting in oil or plug in the CC, but only for windows and I am on a Mac.

    Please advice

CC has the filter. It has been removed in 2014 CC

  • Improve the oil paint filter?

It is very good that the filter of the oil painting is reintroduced in the new update, but I think it should be improved. It could be better.

Once the filter oil painting left 2014 CC Photoshop I resorted to use the mobile app to reach oil painting effect.

Hi everyone I have just updated my photoshop but the oil filter Marie-Claude is not put highlight how do I fix it

    Hello

    Greetings!

Is is actually a requirement for OpenCL to oil painting.

    It requires 1.2 OpenCL

If your graphics card supports OpenCL support, it should work.

Check in the preferences-> performance than if the graphics card is checked or not.

  • Oil paint filter. Did it go away?

If you need it, use CC (pre-2014) or CS6.

  • want to oil paint filter

How can we get the filter of photoshop cc oil paint 2014

    It has been removed.

You can always run under Photoshop CC 14.x, provided you have not already removed it.  Yes, it is a workaround pretty badly integrated, but it is available.

May I ask in what capacity you have used the filter?  Was - for smoothing the edges without the fake texture effects, or add effects to an image to make it look like a textured oil painting?  I'm just curious.
