the new oil paint filter is not highlighted in my new version of photoshop

Hi everyone I have just updated my photoshop but the oil filter Marie-Claude is not put highlight how do I fix it

Hello

Greetings!

Is is actually a requirement for OpenCL to oil painting.

It requires 1.2 OpenCL

If your graphics card supports OpenCL support, it should work.

Check in the preferences-> performance than if the graphics card is checked or not.

  • I have a problem with the new version of Photoshop CC 2015

    Hello

I just installed the new version of Photoshop CC 2015. However I have proplem with this version. If I optimize the program, I will not be able to use all the tools, because everything is great, I don't have the problem with the old version.

    I hope for a solution...

Go to Preferences > Interface > user interface scaling and see if 200% is checked.

If so, uncheck the box and see if that fixes the problem.

  • How to activate the filters in the new version of Photoshop CS2?

I downloaded and installed the revised 'legacy' of Photoshop CS2 using the new activation code for a new facility to clean.

On the surface, everything is OK, except...

    (1) you are prompted several times to record whenever he opens

    (2) seems impossible to activate or import filters and other files in the folder < Goodies > and the program tells me that < MSVCRT10.dll > is missing when it is there all along in the c:\PhSp_CS2_UE_Ret\Goodies\Optional Plug-Ins\Ffactory > folder

My main problem is that in this new version I am unable to get all the features of most of the Photoshop filters that I used to be able to access and I have no idea what to try next!

    Anyone got any ideas please?

If the filters that don't work are filters made with filter factory or filter plant itself which does not work, are just grayed out in the menu filters filter?

The factory filter only works with 8-bit/channel and RGB color documents, if your other files as psd or hair could be 16 bits/channel or one color other than RGB color mode.

With one of the affected files open and you go Image > Mode, which menu items are checked?

You can post a screenshot so that we can see the Panel layers and image.

Twice I had to uninstall the latest version of photoshop cc 2015.5 and reinstall because I get this system error:

Very frustrating!  Is it a question of photoshop?  A bridge problem?  Help!

It is a problem with your plugins ON1. There is an update of the software to the latest version of PS on their Web site. I imagine that you copied all over the place and when it's done not all the required files are copied across, depending upon your operating system platform.

  • How do you install the previous plug-ins in the new version of Photoshop CC 2014

Is automatically installed before on other versions, but this one won't pick them up. I see them on my CS6 and work with them on the previous CC, but I don't know how to make them grow in 2014 of CC. Anyone?

    Dear Carosmania

Adobe not all Addons are compatible with the default CC 2014. You must make reference to the page of each add-on on the Addons (creative.adobe.com/addons) site to find the compatibility window (top right), which will describe the versions of Photoshop that the add-on will work with.

  • New versions of Photoshop and InDesign crash on launch, old Illustrator works great on Windows 8

After the upgrade to the new versions of Photoshop and InDesign, they crash that I run the application.

Illustrator, who is an older version, still works. I'm on Windows 8 on a laptop.

Thank you once again. While we wrote back, I tried already a chat option with the support of Adobe people. They said that I had damaged preferences caused by the update for 2015 CC InDesign and Photoshop CC 2015. They could remedy.

  • Improve the oil paint filter?

It is very good that the filter of the oil painting is reintroduced in the new update, but I think it should be improved. It could be better.

Once the filter oil painting left 2014 CC Photoshop I resorted to use the mobile app to reach oil painting effect.

These photos are large enough, you can click it to see more details.

Now the oil paint filter is back in the new update, just a suggestion to improve it.

  • Don't know what version of Photoshop to get, I need the oil paint filter.

I am a new designer and class, I did some really cool stuff with paint filter oils and I LOVE IT, it will be a large part of the style I want to develop but I'm on a test of CC and it isn't here! I did my homework and found out that apparently the latest version of CC has eliminated the great filter! Go figure!

I want this BAD filter, then, what are my best options?

Adobe has so many products and versions that I am really confused about what to get.

So should I get CS6? Or y at - it an older version of CC who has the oil paint filter?

I saw somewhere, there is a filter of painting in oil or plug in the CC, but only for windows and I am on a Mac.

    Please advice

CC has the filter. It has been removed in 2014 CC

  • Photoshop CC 2014: Lack of oil paint filter and no access to the extensions and plugins? Where did they go?

A few days ago and just opened for the first time, I downloaded PS CC 2014. The oil paint filter is no longer listed in the menu filter. She was deleted in this 'update '? I hope not because that I use it through my workflow and as a step in most of the Actions I have developed to produce my signature style.

Also, my Extensions and the Exchange is blocked; IE Extensions is grayed out in the window > Extensions menu drop-down. This means that I can't use my watermarks.

In order to use all the features of the PS CC and CC 2014, I have to save my work and open it in the other version, then demote to apply a watermark. Very annoying!

    Any idea would be appreciated.

In Camera Raw, the button to switch between pre and Validating adjustments in the active adjustment Panel has been restored, a good thing, but it should not be removed in the previous "update."

    Thank you

I just read an Adobe Exchange help page that solved the problem with extensions and modules.

    Here's the article: Adobe Exchange

It now appears that the CC app controls the timing of your modules with PS CC 2014. So open creative cloud, click on the tab files and make sure synchronization is enabled. This can also be confirmed and displayed/hidden power in creative Cloud.
