Photoshop CC 2015 polygon Lasso > frozen PS

Hello

I use the polygonal lasso tool and at some point, photoshop freezes while as always in "polygon with the lasso tool marking points. There is nothing to do, but by dint of Photoshop to close.

It's the same bug that consists of the PS CC 2014 (later fixed), could you please fix as soon as possible?

Hi vesavalkonen,

The problem only occurs when you use your Wacom Tablet?

Make sure that the graphics drivers and Wacom are up-to-date.

Kind regards

The Polygonal Lasso tool will not systematically put points on a selection. When I click on select and moving to another point at random don't graph a line from the last point to the new I want. I can go back and click again to the previous point and sometimes it will follow until the next point, but sometimes with simply close the selection prematurely.

I was finally able to contact the customer support of cat care and the agent, Arjun Hohli, was able to do repair. I tried to follow along what he was doing, but lost track. It seems to heal by resetting preferences, uninstalling and reinstalling CC files. It was a problem with PS CC 2015 and Windows 10. I suggest to anyone having a similar problem to jump the forums and go straight to the Contact Customer Service REPS the remote access feature works fine and save a ton of confusion. It allows to see the real problem rather than relying on the customer precisely describing the anomaly, the support staff.

  • The polygonal Lasso tool is nuts now!

I have Photoshop CS6 Version 13.0 x 64.  Recently, I upgraded my system to the Version OS X El Capitan 10.11.5.  Since I have my Polygonal Lasso tool does not work.  I can't start in a specific place, the starting point does not appear.  Then I hold the Option key down, move the cursor to the next location, but the line moves rarely in that position.  And it continues all the way up until when I try to close the path, I have to hold down the command key to make it.

Also, if I'm doing a diagonal line and hold down the Option key, it's often a horizontal or vertical line instead.

None of that happened with my old system.  Any thoughts on why and, if necessary can be made?  My RAM is maxed out, so this isn't the problem.

  • Photoshop CC 2015 does not remember that the last used tool after restart

    Hi all

I think it happened after the last update (2015.1.1). Whenever I have quit Photoshop and run it again later or the next day, it does not preserve the last tool that I used. For example, if I was using the Healing Brush, the next session opens with the Spot Healing Brush tool as default instead of the Healing Brush, and I have to remember to change the tool. It didn't happen until I'm positive if I pressed J he lurched to the Healing Brush, as it was the last, I used.

During a meeting, it is normally. For example, I use the Healing Brush tool, move the clone to another task stamp, and if I press J, it jumps to the corrector. But if I stop PS is going on what I mentioned before, if I press J selects the Spot Healing Brush tool instead.

I know it's a very small problem, but it is perhaps worth mentioning.

    Diego

I think it was supposed to have been fixed, but it turns out that it wasn't.

    Hello

    Thank you for your response.

It seems that it is a problem of "Ink window" associated with the new carrot of CC in Photoshop.
If you disable, in the preference of wacom no lag to slide more, but you feather drop pressure are.
If you leave it enabled, you will have pressure of the pen but lag on cursor all inside photoshop CC

I just cancelled my Photoshop CC plan to go back to my good old CS6

    Thank you.

  • How to solve the problem with the wacom tablet and the polygonal lasso tool. It does not work with a pen.

How to solve the problem with the wacom tablet and the polygonal lasso tool. It does not work with a pen. I have install windows 10 and fresh, new drivers for wacom bamboo, could he makes problems or there is a problem of photoshop?

It should do.  You use one of the buttons of pen maybe?  Just touching wheels with the pen with no buttons or modifier keys.  Press ENTER to close the selection.

Personally I never use the lasso, Polygonal, but rather just the Lasso tool by using the ALT (Opt) to operate the Polygonal tool.  I also use the mouse instead of the Tablet for the selection of cutting edge.  It is a little too uncertain where the point will go when hovering the stylus above the image.

  • Polygonal Lasso in CS5 tool does not

Yes, I have a strange question that I need help with I just got my daughter Photoshop CS5 because that is all I could afford it and when she tried to use the Polygonal Lasso tool would not choose anything she has Windows 8, but I doubt than that cuase no problem I tried to catch me, but the lasso would simply not stick or make all lines at all kept endangered and dissappearing a sec after the appearance of the line is their a way to fix this?

Without accurate information on the system, we don't really know, but as a first step, you might want to disable OpenGL in the prefs of PS. Also, make sure your graphics card driver and any input devices and their drivers...

  • My Polygonal Lasso tool no longer works

I have Adobe CS4 for Mac. Just today, whenever I join a box with my polygonal lasso tool, he stopped to close the area and instead of it gives me the message "WARNING: no pixel is selected to more than 50 percent." Selected edges will be not visible. "I must have accidentally sinking something makes the lasso tool no longer works, but I didn't knoow what. Any suggestions on how to fix it? Or I have to reset photoshop? Ways to reset it? I tried holding option, command shift but it always reset my photoshop to its original settings. Also, I have restarted my computer several times without success. Thanks for any help you guys can give.

Awesome. I changed it to zero and everything is back to normal! Thank you thank you very much!

  • Automatic closing of polygonal Lasso

    Hello

I found several discussions on this problem on the web and here, but not solutions.

I just installed Photoshop Elements 10 on 7 different PC and get the same question.

The PC have different mouses, various keyboards, different operating systems (Windows 7 and XP) different graphics cards (not all of course, but let's say that there are at least 2 completely different configurations).

When to use the Polygonal lasso in PSElement10, it automatically closes after a few seconds, when I'm inactive (hands in the air, without double click).
Sometimes, there appears to be stable for a few seconds, and then if I want to see it closes automatically, I just delete the last point of click, raise your hands in the air, wait 3 seconds and then the selections will automatically close.

I had a similar problem a few months, when I installed my old Photoshop 7 (not the elements) on my new Windows 7 PC.
But then, I just used the compatibility Windows Mode to run my PS7, and everything went well.

But... PSElements is supposed to be designed to work on WIN7, then Compatibility Mode will not help this time.

    Any other idea?

    Finally,.

-On Win 7, I run Photoshop Elements 10 in Windows Vista Compatibility Mode.

-On Win Xp SP3, I run Photoshop Elements 10 in Windows 2000 Compatibility Mode.

Tested several hours for 2 weeks, all seems OK now.

I consider my original problem as it is now resolved.

PS: on the Win Xp SP3 Pc, I encountered another problem (diameter of brush endangered in a middle range in diameter) I solved thanks to this post: http://www.photoshopgurus.com/forum/photoshop-troubleshooting/18367-cs4-brush-error.html

  • Polygonal Lasso tool ends early with Intuos 3 in CS4 (Vista Home)

I've been using the Polygonal Lasso tool in Photoshop CS4 to make a selection using a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, but frustrating it is over at the beginning and apparently at random before I return to the starting point. I use Photoshop version 11.0.1 and Intuos 3 and the latest version of Direct X that you have installed the latest drivers. If I hold the pen on the Tablet, that the screen flickers sometimes (revealing the window behind) which can lead to the selection ended prematurely and sometimes it ends just at the beginning without obvious reason. I use Vista Home edition. Everyone knows about this problem? Any suggestions about what I can do about it? It is pretty unusable at the moment.

I do not deny your arguments, I was simply saying that for me it works. And I truly believe that most of the issues is certainly not related to the tool itself, but rather combinations of graphics card quirks and glitches in mouse / tablet drivers and configuration...

  • How can I install the plug-ins for Photoshop CC 2015.5, Capitan

I have huge problems of installation of plug-ins for Photoshop CC 2015.5 Capitan. What is the difference with the 'Actions' / Plug-ins.

I used Photoshop for a while, but certainly not a professional. The new version of Photoshop CC of 2015 to 2015.5 is driving me crazy. I almost wish I had my version 2015 return.

I just bought some plug-ins from PanosFX but just can't seem to get them in CC 2015.5. If anyone can help I would be very grateful.

    Thanks much Maggi Merritt
